After Dark - AEW Dark recap for August 9, 2022

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy), The Butcher and The Blade beat Isaiah Broner, James Alexander, Brayden Lee and Sam Moore.

Anna Jay beats Megan Meyers with the Queenslayer.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) beat Rohit Raju and Ren Jones. After the match, Rohit Raju protest the loss, but Danhausen gets in the ring, curses Rohit, then punches him in the groin.

Tony Schiavone interviews La Faccion Ingobernables (Andrade el Idolo, Rush, Jose the Assistant) on the stage and announces that Rush and Andrade are teaming together for the first time in seven years tomorrow night on Dynamite in a tornado tag team match against The Lucha Brothers (Penta Oscuro and Rey Fenix). Rush says La Faccion Ingobernables is the greatest faction in the world, and Andrade says that he have been removing masks because they do not respect them and because they are "handsome Mexicans." He also says that they do not respect anyone in the locker room or the office, but he respects Tony Schiavone for his earrings. Rush says that he came to AEW to destroy every single wrestler in the company except for Andrade, and that that they will beat The Lucha Brothers and show everyone who La Faccion Ingobernables is.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Preston "10" Vance) beat The Wingmen ("Pretty" Peter Avalon and JD Drake).

Marina Shafir and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beat Heather Reckless and Joseline Navarro. After the match, Vickie Guerrero demands attention from the fans, whom she says bought tickets only to see Marina Shafir and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose. She calls Nyla Rose "an example of destruction" and refers to Marina Shafir's nickname of "The Problem," then says she welcomes any and all problems, as the three of them can create a unique union and bring endless opportunities. She then says that the three of them are known as "The Beasts of Burden." Shafir and Rose then beat up Heather Reckless and Joseline Navarro again, with Rose hitting Reckless with a Beast Bomb onto a downed Navarro.

Kris Statlander beats Sierra.

The Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, Parker Bordreaux) beat Sonny Kiss, Zack Clayton and Xavier Walker. After the match, Sonny Kiss is seen to be completely disinterested in the fact that his teammates lost, even as Ari Daivari says something to him.

Ruby Soho, Athena and Hikaru Shida beat Serena Deeb, Leva Bates and Emi Sakura after referee Stephon Smith keeps Leva Bates from using her book as a weapon against Hikaru Shida.

Orange Cassidy beats Anthony Henry with the Beach Break after knocking JD Drake off the apron with the Orange Punch.
