Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for August 25, 2022

Trent Seven beats Oliver Carter with a Figure Four Leg Lock to advance to the finals of the NXT UK Championship Tournament.

Tyler Bate beats Joe Coffey to advance to the finals of the NXT UK Championship Tournament after reversing a pop-up move into a backslide pin. After the match, Trent Seven shows up, and Trent and Tyler have a staredown. Trent Seven teases getting in the ring, but ultimately does not, and tells Tyler Bate that he is better than him.

We hear from Assistant to the General Manager Sid Scala, who announces that Blair Davenport vs. Amale vs. Eliza Alexander vs. Isla Dawn to decide a #1 contender for the NXT UK Women's Championship is official for next week. (The match has already been spoiled on this week's NXT with Davenport appearing and announcing that she is #1 contender for the title.)

It is announced that NXT UK is official expanding into NXT Europe in 2023.

Next week: Trent Seven vs. Tyler Bate in the NXT UK Championship Tournament finals!

Noam Dar beats Mark Coffey two falls to one (2-1) to become the first-ever two time NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion. Mark Coffey scores the first fall with 1:27 (one minute, twenty-seven seconds) left in Round 3 following a running shoulder tackle that nearly knocks Noam Dar out. Noam Dar recovers during Round 4, and he scores the second fall in Round 4 after making Mark Coffey submit to the Champagne Superkneebar. In Round 6, Sha Samuels - now with a full set of clothes again - leaps out of the crowd and shoves Mark Coffey into the ring post, allowing Noam Dar to hit the Nova Roller and win back the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship.
