Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 13, 2022

It's time for Miz TV to start tonight's show. Tonight's guest is Paul Heyman. Miz talks about the Money In The Bank Ladder Match as well as his Money In The Bank accomplishments, and says one must wait for the perfect moment to cash in the contract and catapult themselves into superstardom. Miz then reminds Heyman that whoever wins the men's match will more than likely cash in on Roman Reigns, while Heyman claims that they will fail to win afterwards because when Roman Reigns is the champion, the chances of winning go down to zero. Heyman also mentions Matt Riddle taking on Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Championship, and as he talks about how he tried to add a stipulation to make the match even bigger, Riddle shows up. Riddle shows up wanting to hear the news about the stipulation "straight from the horse's ass," and Miz takes offense to the interruption before demanding respect towards him and Heyman. Heyman tells Riddle he has "some set of balls on [him]" to interrupt Miz TV, and Riddle says Heyman says nothing for a guy who talks a lot and that neither man knows what he is capable of. He then says that The Usos tried to end his career like they probably did Randy Orton's, then says he does not care what the stipulation is because Roman Reigns will have to kill him to beat him this Friday. Heyman says Riddle has a lot of momentum, but that momentum will be stopped by Roman Reigns, and while he respects Riddle, Riddle cannot beat Roman. He also feels that he will not be able to beat his opponent tonight after hearing what he has to say: if Riddle wins on Friday, he will be the new WWE Undisputed Champion; if Riddle loses, he cannot challenge for the title again as long as Roman is champion. He says this is what is called "do or die" on the Island of Relevancy, then introduces him to The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso). As The Usos surround the ring, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) show up and stand with Riddle.

Jimmy Uso beats Montez Ford after getting the knees up to block the top rope splash.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. Rollins says that he meant what he said to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, then calls Cody "a virus" that has been plaguing WWE since he returned and that sometimes in life, you have to make hard decisions. He pulls out a sledgehammer when he says that when nobody is on your side, you have to take things into your own hands, and when Cody laid bare his ambitions, he had to adapt or perish, and now, he is back and better than ever. Rollins says he has performed one of the greatest Money In The Bank cash-ins of all time and that he wants to outdo it, and when it comes to "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Styles is not on his level and lacks his killer instinct. He says that if Styles wants to stand in his way of the Money In The Bank contract, then he will have to do to him what he did to Cody Rhodes. Suddenly, Rollins gets jumped by Styles, who then says "That one's for Cody."

Becky Lynch vs. Dana Brooke for the WWE 24/7 Championship ends in a no-contest. During the match, Becky says he has a lot of anger and rage and that the match was not about the 24/7 Championship, but instead the disrespect he has been given week in and week out after blazing a trail of success for all to follow. Becky then says that she is looking at the Money In The Bank contracts and that she was robbed and cheated the last time she went for it, and that this year will be different. Suddenly, Asuka shows up and brawls with Becky. It is not long before Asuka comes out on top.

Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan beat Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Ezekiel beats Kevin Owens by count-out after the commentary team calls Ezekiel by his name and Owens yells at them. After the match, Ezekiel says that while he is not yet done with Kevin Owens, he wants in on the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. He also announces that Elias is coming to Raw next week.

Before the next match, MVP says Cedric Alexander has gotten on his last nerve and handles rejection so poorly that he got involved in his handicap match at Hell In A Cell. He says that Cedric belongs at the bottom while he and Omos belong at the top. He says that all Omos has to do is stand on a lower rung of a ladder and the Money In The Bank contract is his, then Cedric shows up for the match.

MVP beats Cedric Alexander. After the match, Omos tosses Cedric out of the ring.

Backstage, we hear from "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, who says that the Money In The Bank contract has eluded him and that he wants it to spite Seth "Freakin'" Rollins after what he did to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. He says that Rollins is beneath him and that what he will do to Rollins will make think twice before questioning his killer instinct. We then hear from Seth Rollins, who says that he is in AJ Styles' head and that he will be dedicating his victory to Cody Rhodes.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles by sitting down on a Sunset Flip attempt to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

The Miz guests on commentary for the next match.

Matt Riddle beats Tommaso Ciampa.

Kevin Patrick interviews Bianca Belair in the ring. Belair says she is prepared for anything as she faces Rhea Ripley at Money In The Bank, then mentions the mutual disrespect between them before saying that Rhea Ripley has since become "soulless" since joining The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley). She says that she is not scared of Rhea Ripley and that she will prove that she can walk the walk. Suddenly, Rhea shows up on the TitanTron and says Bianca is all talk while Judgment Day speaks through their actions. Finn Balor says that they do what they want when they want and removed Edge from The Judgment Day to make sure of that, and Damian Priest says that while Edge had the right idea, his actions contradicted his words. Rhea says that the fans are holding Bianca back and that Bianca is only trying to convince herself she is the best while she takes what she wants, and says that Bianca Belair will meet her downfall - which Rhea says will be the greatest part of Bianca's reign - at Money In The Bank.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Austin Theory, who says that he is ready for his posedown with Bobby Lashley and that he is on a different level these days, and that he will prove that Lashley is not on his level and unworthy of the United States title. He also says that he will prove he is the greatest investment Vince McMahon has ever made and that his twenty-year celebration in the future will make John Cena's look like nothing.

Chad Gable beats Mustafa Ali after Otis tries to make the save only to get kicked in the arm by Ali and Gable hits a rolling German suplex for the win.

Veer Mahaan beats Rey Mysterio with the cervical clutch after clotheslining Dominik Mysterio over the barricade into the timekeeper's area.

WWE official Adam Pearce moderates the pose-down between Austin Theory and Bobby Lashley. Austin Theory goes first on the podium with the double bicep, side chest and most muscular poses, and Lashley goes after him after telling Theory brought this on himself and that he will this before taking the United States title from him. Bobby Lashley gets a much better reception from the fans than Austin Theory and wins the pose-down, then Austin Theory says there is one more pose. He squirts baby oil into Lashley's eyes and kicks him out of the ring before taking selfies with the United States title.

This week on Raw Talk: Alexa Bliss! Liv Morgan! Omos! MVP! Matt Riddle!
