Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 9, 2022

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) beat Johnny Swinger and "Outlandish" Zicky Dice in the BTI match.

We hear from Sami Callihan, who says that every time the lights go out, he beats Moose's ass, and that just when everyone has him figured out, he changes the rules. Sami proises that by the end of the night, Moose will be pleading and begging for mercy.

Rosemary beats Tenille Dashwood after Rosemary sends Tenille into Madison Rayne for the roll-up, knocking Madison off the ring apron in the process. After the match, Madison Rayne attacks Rosemary, but Taya Valkyrie shows up to make the save for Rosemary. When Taya and Rosemary back into each other, they have a staredown, and Taya apologizes to Rosemary.

We see The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) in Sandy Fork, Delaware at The Briscoes' (Jay and Mark Briscoe) chicken farm. They take a look at a tractor, a tire swing, a kids' bike, a shed, a bulldozer, a pile of manure, and a chicken coop. As they go out for beer, they find Papa Briscoe, and when Karl Anderson mentions that they can't find The Briscoes and threaten to beat him up instead, Papa Briscoe says "I hope you boys packed a lunch" before The Briscoes arrive. The Briscoes and The Good Brothers brawl, but when Doc Gallows is about to throw a cinderblock at Jay, Papa Briscoe shows up with a hammer and Mark gets back up from being put through a wooden board with a machete and a pipe, and The Good Brothers run away.

Backstage, Heath is interviewed by Gia Miller. Heath says Rhino is injured and has to have surgery, and says that it could be a long time before he returns. He says Honor No More is about to walk through hell and he will make sure they all get burned. He also implies that Honor No More will not make it to Slammiversary.

Steve Maclin beats PCO with a DDT into a steel chair after trapping PCO's hand in the ring steps, disfiguring PCO's right shoulder. The ref tries to get PCO to the back with the help of security, but PCO fights security off, and as the referee tends to the downed security guards, Maclin hits PCO with a steel chair and DDT's him into the chair before disposing of it and calling for the referee. After the match, PCO gets back up, much to the shock of Maclin.

This week's Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Samoa Joe vs. Booker T vs. Christian Cage vs. Rhino vs. Robert Roode in a King of the Mountain Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship with Kevin Nash as special enforcer from Slammiversary 2008.

Backstage, Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans confronts Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo says they agreed that they had a mutual enemy, and that she wants the Knockouts Championship before saying she does not need help to end Mia Yim. Tasha says "You think you don't need help? We'll see about that." Tasha and Savannah Evans leave, then Chelsea Green shows up and says that it doesn't hurt to have a little help.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan. Matt Morgan says that being in TNA became his first real attempt at professional wrestling and says that he takes pride in the work he did and takes pride that the current roster is doing today. Vincent shows up and calls Matt Morgan "a ghost of Impact's past," then says that at Slammiversary, it will all come to an end.

Joe Doering beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander by disqualification after Doering tries to use the Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner, Doering) flag as a weapon only for Alexander to use it against him. After the match, Alexander takes down Deaner, but Eric Young retreats and says he will see Alexander at Slammiversary.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Moose. Moose says he is not worried about Sami Callihan or his mind games, for he has played mind games with the best and the last to do it with him was carried out of the ring. He then asks Gia if Sami Callihan stands a chance with him physically before saying he has no chance in hell. Suddenly, the lights flicker, then Moose says he will find Sami and put and end to everything.

We see footage from New Japan Pro Wrestling, where it is revealed that Ace Austin has joined Bullet Club. At a press conference, Alex Zayne confronts Ace Austin, and when Jay White and the Good Brothers arrive, Austin hits Zayne from behind with his cane and Bullet Club gang up on him.

Backstage, Moose looks for Sami Callihan. The lights go in and out, but Moose sees Sami this time and the two men brawl. Moose throws Sami into boiler room and grabs his pipe, where the brawl continues. Moose beats Sami so hard that he busts his forehead open, but finds out that he is locked in the boiler room with Sami. Sami then reveals he has the door key, which he sticks into Moose's eye before escaping and locking Moose in.

We hear from Matt Cardona and Brian Myers. Cardona says he is the real Digital Media Champion, then says that he has a torn bicep and that Myers will have to carry the lineage of the title and declares Myers the "Digital Media World Champion." Myers thanks Cardona, then says he and Rich Swann will find out who the real Digital Media Champion is at Slammiversary.

Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) beat Frankie Kazarian and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) with a low blow to Sabin followed by a Diehard Driver from Eddie Edwards as Sabin goes for the Cradle Shock. After the match, Honor No More attack Sabin again, and when Heath gets in to the ring with a chair, he is immediately ganged up on. Heath soon fights back, but Kenny King and Vincent soon show up to help the rest of Honor No More. Honor No More then put Heath's leg through a chair before hitting the chair with another chair multiple times in order to injure Heath like they did Rhino.
