Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for June 6, 2022 - Episode One

Mike and Maryse have a picnic with Madison and Monroe. Suddenly, Marjo interrupts over having a cold shower, and Mike's dad George calls Mike to tell him that Barbara is moving and that he is having trouble with the moving company. Meanwhile, Mike and Maryse are trying to get Marjo as well as Mike's grandmother their own homes in Los Angeles.

Mike meets Maryse in the kitchen and tells her that he has gotten an offer from Dancing With The Stars. Maryse is excited, but Mike says that he has told them that he will call back, as the show is a full-time commitment. Maryse says that if he takes the show, it will set a good example for the kids in the future. Mike says it took years for him to learn how to wrestle, but that he is only given days to learn to dance. Mike tells Maryse he will think about it.

Mike and Dolph Ziggler train in Mike's home gym. Mike tells Dolph about the Dancing With The Stars call. Mike says he will not do it due to it being a full-time commitment, but Dolph tells Mike he is scared and reminds him "our business is a dance." As Dolph and Mike wrestle, Maryse walks in and has a laugh about it before telling him. George calls Mike to tell him the moving company did a great job.

Mike finds out that the moving company has moved everything to Barbara's new house, but not into it. Barbara and Grandma Dixie show up and Mike and George have to do all the heavy lifiting.

At Barbara's house, Mike tells his parents and grandmother about the Dancing With The Stars. George says Mike is not cut out for it, and Mike realizes that he sounds like his own father regarding Dancing With The Stars.

Marjo gets everything packed up for her new life. We also learn about the mysterious passing of Maryse's father and how it has affected the family, especially Marjo, who has not lived on her own for over twenty years and has lived her life through those of the rest of her family, and Maryse has to tell Marjo that her getting a new place is all about spreading her wings and living her life, not kicking her out of the house. (Maryse also tells the story about her father's death: her father passed away while biking in the mountains in 1998, but his body was not found until five years later in 2003 when somebody else found the body and "called the Canadian version of the FBI." It is believed that her father died of a heart attack.)

The family celebrates Marjo moving out. Afterwards, Miz shows Maryse in what looks like a dance outfit and tells Maryse that he is doing Dancing With The Stars after hearing what George said and realizing that George has been making him prove him wrong the whole time, and says that he always has Maryse to support him no matter what.

Bonus clip: Marjo gets caught watching "an artistic film."
