Punk says Page is taking this seriously and that he is champion for a reason, as he is "the toughest son-of-a-bitch" on the roster. Punk then says this is business for him, not personal. Page reiterates that he is going to embarrass and destroy CM Punk and that he is going to do this right now, as he has been waiting months for this moment and he has wanted to roll a pipebomb up to him so it could blow up in his face. He then says that since they are here, he now realizes that he cannot do it, not because he would get fired or because he is afraid of him, but because he realized that this is what Punk would do. After saying that would not be the right thing to do, Page says he does not like Punk and almost pities him. He tells Punk that it is not about winning the championship, but what happens after. Page then tells Punk that he cares about AEW and that on Sunday, he will not be defending the world title against Punk, but defending All Elite Wrestling from Punk. Punk tells Page that he still does not get why Page is so angry and that it makes him confused that Page is talking in circles, then says that if Page is so upset about him being here, he will have to do something about it on Sunday. He also says that while he respects Page, he paved the road he has traveled, built the house that he is in and made the blueprint that made his career possible. Punk tells Page that he will shake his hand right now, for he is mad at himself, but Page has none of it when Punk insists and hits him with a right hand.
