They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for May 27, 2022

William Regal guests on commentary for the next match.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson beats Matt Sydal by submission.

We see a video cutscene for Hook and Danhausen vs. "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "Smart" Mark Sterling.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) dress up like The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy), are accompanied by Gangrel and supply their own "Matt Facts" before the next match.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat Taylor Rust and Jon Cruz. After the match, The Young Bucks attack Gangrel, but before they can hit the BTE-Trigger, The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) show up. Brandon Cutler - dressed as Lita - stops simultaneous Twists of Fate on The Bucks, but Gangrel hits Cutler with the Impaler before Cutler receives a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb.

Backstage, we hear from Darby Allin. He says that Kyle O'Reilly took out Sting and that he is challenging him to a fight at Double Or Nothing. He says that if O'Reilly does not accept, he will interfere in Adam Cole's and The Young Bucks' matches and make The Undisputed Elite's life a living hell.

Dante Martin beats "Platinum" Max Caster after Anthony Bowens and The Gunn Club (Billy, Austin and Colten Gunn) are ejected from ringside shortly after the beginning of the match.

We see a video package for Samoa Joe vs. Adam Cole in the finals of the men's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Dan Lambert and The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page) are in the ring. Lambert says these are crazy times and the only things you can count on are death and taxes. He then announces that he has had a new TNT Championship crafted in less than a week and claims that it is a masterpiece truly worthy of Los Angeles, California's favorite champion. They then unveil a gold TNT Championship with purple trim and leather. Ethan Page says that since Scorpio Sky now has a championship that matches the talent, the two of them can finally get done with Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti. Sammy, Tay and Frankie Kazraian then show up on the video screen in front of American Top Team's headquarters, where they immediately show up, break in, and steal some championship belts before telling Lambert and The Men of the Year that if they want the titles back, all they have to is bring Paige VanZant and show up at Double Or Nothing. Scorpio says this has gone on way too long, and says that if they want a mixed trios match, they have it. He then says that if they win, Kazarian and Sammy cannot challenge him for the TNT Championship ever again. He says that they have been begging for an ass-kicking and will get Sunday, and after that, they are done.

"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry interviews Kris Statlander and Ruby Soho. Ruby Soho says she has doubted herself for the last few months and lost the confidence she had when she arrived, and when she earned the opportunity to enter the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, she has the potential to reach a breaking point in her career, even if that means beating her friend Kris Statlander. Statlander says everybody needs to win this tournament, but what Ruby Soho needs is to understand is that she has been here since the beginning and has had nothing to show for it. Statlander says she cannot let this opportunity slip away like all the others and that nobody can stop her.

Ruby Soho beats Kris Statlander to advance to the finals in the women's Owen Hart Foundation Match. After the match, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. shows up, and as the fans boo Ruby Soho for winning, Ruby says that Kris Statlander is her friend and he had to beat her, and on Sunday, she will beat Britt badly and cashing in the receipt Britt has coming.
