Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 10, 2021

Rey Fenix beats Matt Jackson.

We hear from Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley. Kingston says that when he went into the ring to protect Moxley, he had a flashblack to when he had an anxiety attack in a jail cell before he was taken to Rikers Island. He asks Kenny Omega if he thinks this is a video game or if he is the Joker, and Moxley says he has made more explosive volcanoes in fourth grade science class. Moxley admits that while Omega was the better man, he got a drinking buddy in Kingston back, and warns Omega and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) that if they are going to flash a weapon, they had better use it.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Seth Gargis with the Figure Four Leg Lock. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Cody. Before he can say anything, Penta El Zero M shows up from the Spanish announce table and tells Cody that he is a thousand times better than him, and that if Cody is the prince of pro wrestling, then he is the lord of lucha libre. Penta El Zero M then mentions Cody's loss at Revolution and says that if it were just them in the ring, Cody would have lost a lot more than the match, and that he should be lucky that Penta did not focus on hurting his arm to the point that he could not pick up his newborn baby girl. Cody jumps the barricade and charges at Penta, and both men have to be held back.

We hear from Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy) in an arcade. Taylor says they have been going at it with "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Miro for too long, and want one more match, saying that if they lose, Taylor will be Miro's butler for life. He also says that Orange has the idea of surrounding the ring with arcade machines so that they can put Kip and Miro's heads through every single one of them before they break Kip and Miro.

Tony Schiavone interviews Sting. Sting says that Darby Allin is a dangerous man who takes risks, and combining that with him and a menacing location leads to a win. Suddenly, Lance Archer and Jake "The Snake" Roberts show up, saying that nobody will give them time and will take the time themselves. Archer says he never needed a ladder match to prove he is the face of AEW and that if things do not change, he will take much more than time.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews QT Marshall and Lee Johnson. Marshall says his emotions got the best of him concerning "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, then says that Johnson has a match against Ethan Page tonight where he needs to get a big win, even though Ethan Page has a lot to prove.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Lee Johnson. After the match, Page continues to stomp on Johnson until "The Natural "Dustin Rhodes shows up to chase him out of the ring as QT Marshall walks away from Dustin. (During the match, a basketball game can be heard in the background when the match airs on TNT; the fite.tv broadcast does not have this sound issue.)

In footage from earlier today, Alex Marvez interviews "Hangman" Adam Page, who drives in on a ride-on lawnmower. Besides the lawnmower, Page says he has bought six bottles of whisky, a new saddle, "all of Dwight Yoakam on vinyl" and donated a lot of money to the Jacksonville public education fund. The Dark Order then rides on the lawnmower with him, but Alan "5" Angels is left behind due to the lawnmower's weight limit.

Tony Schiavone interviews Christian Cage...almost. Kenny Omega's cheerleaders soon show up and start dancing, then Omega himself shows up along with Don Callis and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson). Callis says that he, Omega and The Good Brothers call the shots around here and will take and take a little more. Callis says that Revolution went according to plan, save for the ring exploding, and says that he and Omega have taken a lot of heat for not giving the fans what they wanted, then refuses to confirm or deny if he and Omega had anything to do with that before saying that it made them happy to took away what the fans wanted as well as Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston's moment when they made history. He then says that whether the ring blew up or not, they win no matter what. Omega says he got goosebumps trying to picture Moxley getting vaporized, but he says it is just as sweet to have the memory of embarassing him in the middle of the ring and leaving him like the loser that he is. As he mocks Eddie Kingston running into the ring to protect him, Eddie Kingston shows up. Callis says he had Kingston working for him in Impact because he saw the potential in him, then fired him he did the same thing in Impact that he has done his whole life: screw things up when he came close to the brass ring. He then makes fun of his laying on top of Moxley to protect him at the end of Revolution, then gives him a chance to leave with what is left of his pride and gives him ten seconds to leave before he gets beaten up. Omega and Callis then make fun of the countdown before Omega asks Kingston what he hopes to accomplish when he has two other guys who can kick his ass. Omega then gives Kingston a free shot, saying Kingston will not do it, but Kingston punches him out. As The Good Brothers attack Kingston, Jon Moxley gets in the ring to even the odds. As this goes on, Christian Cage shows up and has a staredown with Omega in the ring. When Omega offers to shake his hand, Christian refuses, and when Omega goes for a cheap shot, Christian almost hits the Killswitch on Omega before Callis pulls Omega out of the ring.

Hikaru Shida, Thunder Rosa and Ryo Mizunami beat Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., "The Native Beast" Nyla Beast and Maki Itoh. At the beginning of the match, Shida's team attacks the opposition before the bell rings; nevertheless, Maki Itoh sings her entire entrance with no music. After the match, Baker hits Thunder Rosa with one of Reba's crutches before putting her in the Lockjaw while Vickie Guerrero and Reba join in.

We hear from Matt Hardy and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy). Private Party tells Matt that everything will be okay, and Matt says that he needs to bring more money in after "Hangman" Adam Page stole money from him. He says he has more than enough money to sustain his business until April 1st, and announces that he has signed, The Butcher, The Blade and The Bunny to his enterprise. He says that The Butcher, The Blade and Private Party will destroy people on AEW Dark Elevation before all of them destroy The Dark Order for what they did to him.

Darby Allin retains the AEW TNT Championship after countering the TKO into an inside cradle. After the match, Scorpio Sky puts Darby Allin in a heel hook, and referees have to run into the ring to break the hold.

Next week: Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson)! "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. Penta El Zero M! Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus) and Bear Country (Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson) vs. Matt Hardy, Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy), The Butcher and The Blade! Jade Cargill in action! Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Thunder Rosa in an unsanctioned Lights Out match!

The Inner Circle heads to the ring for their war council. Chris Jericho says that when any great army needs to change their course in the middle of battle, they have a war council to decide the best possible way to continue on in the combat, and says The Inner Circle has been in decline as of late, yet it can be easily remedied for they are the smartest in the business today. He says it is time for a new attitude and outlook, and maybe time to introduce a new member into The Inner Circle. MJF says they do not need to add a new member, and says that maybe they should let someobody go. Suddenly, Sammy Guevara shows up and says that while he is the last person Jericho wants to see right now, he has something that Jericho needs to see. We see a video where Guevara sets up a camera, and the footage fast forwards to MJF entering the room and talking to Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager, saying that the four of them should give Chris Jericho "a nice little dirt nap." MJF says he did not want Jericho to find out this way, then sics Santana, Ortiz and Hager on Jericho only for the three of them to turn on MJF. Jericho says they were all waiting for this to happen, then shoves him to the corner of the ring before firing him from The Inner Circle and giving him a beatdown. MJF tries to beg Jericho off, saying he did not want to take over the group because he was too busy building his own. The lights go out, and when they come back on, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Wardlow, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard are behind The Inner Circle. Both sides brawl, and Spears punts Guevara through a chair in the corner as MJF's new faction attacks The Inner Circle and handcuffs Santana and Ortiz. Wardlow then knocks out Jericho with a knee before FTR piledrive Santana and Ortiz as their hands are handcuffed behind their backs. MJF then punches Jericho out with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. A bloodied Jericho goes for his baseball, but Tully Blanchard takes it away before handing it to MJF, who beats Jericho with it. MJF's new faction then carries Jericho to the stage, where Wardlow powerbombs Jericho through a table to end the show.
