Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 2, 2021

In footage from earlier today, "Inevitable" Ace Austin has to stop Madman Fulton from attacking a cameraman on their way into the building. Chris Bey tells everyone to stay tuned to see him in action. Meanwhile, we hear from Decay (Rosemary, Crazzy Steve, Black Taurus). Rosemary says now is the time to show what Black Taurus can do and take his spot as #1 contender for the Impact X Division Championship.

It is announced that Tenille Dashwood and Havok will square off in the ring later tonight.

We hear from Rohit Raju and Mahabali Shera. Rohit says there is a little bit inside of him that is excited to have "The Cowboy" James Storm after having watched him in the ring as a kid. He says that Storm deserves the title of "legend," but says that James Storm has done stuff while he and Shera are doing stuff right now. He then says that feeling goes away, as the James Storm he met was a sucker-punch artist. He says that Shera knows and has told him a lot about Storm, and while Storm has Chris Sabin in his corner, he has Shera in his, and it will just be him and Storm wrestling each other tonight and him getting his hand raised, as he is the future and it is about what he is doing - not what he has done - which is beating Storm in the ring tonight. We then hear from "The Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Sabin. Storm says all Rohit had to do last week was say sorry, but he did not and looked at Shera to do something, and says he would have slapped Shera in the mouth if he did. He then says it is time for him to say sorry about Rohit's luck.

We hear from Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) and XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D). He says that they must be lucky for three seconds, as it will change everything for all of them. Acey Romero says he and Larry D are pissed off from seeing The Good Brothers walk around backstage like kings only for Robinson and Finley to show up and make things worse. Larry D says that the four of them will be a liability starting now, and while they may not sell bear or promote T-shirts, they promote violence, deliver fear and deliver pain. Luster says that violence, pain and destruction is all their opponents tonight are going to get.

We see Josh Mathews virtually interview Eddie Edwards in footage from earlier this week. Eddie says he looks forward to his match with Brian Myers despite Myers' recent actions, and says it is nice to have Matt Cardona to level the playing field as special guest refeee, and feels Cardona can call it down the middle. He says that Impact Wrestling has become a destination for pro wrestlers after a long time of people having bad feelings towards the company, and that everyone in the company is going forward together and is showing full support. On the subject of his style, Eddie says he can go to either brawling or a technical style to do what it takes to get the job done, and says that he will show Myers that he is still the technical wrestler he always ways, stating that Myers is "planting the wrong flag here."
