After Dark Elevation - AEW Dark Elevation recap for March 29, 2021

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that he keeps getting beaten up every week while Eddie Kingston has had his ankle broken, and that the only way to feel better is to beat somebody up, which he plans to do tonight.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy) beats "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth and JD Drake. After the match, Miro, Penelope Ford and "Superbad" Kip Sabian shows up. Sabian says he is there to wish Best Friends luck, but Miro wishes them to survive the Arcade Anarchy match next week so he can hurt them again as referees hold him back. When Best Friends leave, Sabian and Miro run ino through the other entryway on the stage and attack them.

John Moxley beats Bill Collier.

In footage from earlier today, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes awards a Nightmare weight belt to Santiago Elias Prado from The Boys & Girls Club of North Florida.

Penelope Ford beats Leila Grey.

The Gunn Club (Billy, Austin and Colten Gunn) beat Rex Lawless and Milk Chocolate (Brandon Watts and Randy Summers).

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Thunder Rosa, who calls her unsanctioned Lights Out match historical both for her, the women's division . After saying that Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. will continue to take all the credit, she says that she looks forward to facing one of her students, Alex Gracia, tonight. As she says that she is about female and Latina representation, Diamante shows up and say nobody represents her but her. Rosa says she hears jealousy in Diamante's voice, but Diamante says she isn't even part of the AEW roster and yet she is part of the main event, which puts a target on her back. Rosa says she's so good, there is a target on her back everywhere. Diamante then challenges Thunder Rosa to a match, which Rosa accepts whenever Diamanate is ready.

"The Bad Boy" Joey Janela beats Chandler Hopkins.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews TheHybrid2 (Jack Evans and Angelico). Jack Evans says all he needs in a cup of coffee to put Jungle Boy in his place and beat up Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt after the match to prove hazelnut creamer does a body good. Meanwhile, Angelico dances without music.

Thunder Rosa beats Alex Gracia.

"Legit" Leyla Hirsch beats Vipress with the Cross Arm Breaker despite having her left arm targeted and hurt during the match.

Frankie Kazarian beats Danny Limelight with a crossface chicken wing. After the match, Christian Cage shows up and congratulates Kazarian from the stage.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Fuego del Sol.

Hikaru Shida and Tay Conti beats Jazmin Allure and Tesha Price.

Jungle Boy beats Jack Evans with the Snare Trap.

QT Marshall and Lee Johnson beat Adam Priest and Aaron Frye.

Ryo Mizunami beats KiLynn King.

The Dark Order (Alan "5" Angels and Preston "10" Vance) beats D3 and Vary Morales.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page. Page says he is racking up the wins like he said he would, yet AEW wants to overlook superstars like him. He then says he will not do what AEW does and overlook the talent; instead, he will enjoy the rest of the show and continue to win his matches.

We see a vignette for Bear Country (Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson). They have been teaming for three-and-a-half years and had been singles wrestlers before that, but when their singles careers floundered, they brought their common background from Create-A-Pro Wrestling and became a tag team. Both of them want to go beyond being indie stars, and they were doing well until the pandemic hit. This was when they got a call from All Elite Wrestling, where they made the most of their opportunity and wowed AEW officials. They now want to make their mark in the tag team division and be in AEW for a long time.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat Bear Country (Bear Boulder and Bear Bronson). During the match, Matt Hardy gets on the ring apron but gets pulled off by Marko Stunt. This inadvertently distracts Bear Country, and Isiah Kassidy rolls Bear Bronson up for the win. After the match, Bear Bronson grabs Marko Stunt as Marko apologizes, and Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus show up and brawl with Bear Country. Referees quickly move into place to stop the brawl.

Scorpio Sky beats Matt Sydal with the leg bar. When Scorpio refuses to let go of the hold, Matt Sydal shows up and chases him out of the ring. Suddenly, "All Ego" Ethan Page runs into the ring and attacks Matt Sydal, then Scorpio Sky gets in the ring and pats Page on the shoulder before the two of them head to the back together.
