The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) heads to the ring to start tonight's show. MVP says that WrestleMania is less than two weeks away and that Lashley will walk in and out with the WWE Championship, and while he is set to face Drew McIntyre at the event, if anyone is to take out McIntyre before then, they will be rewarded the title match. MVP says not to mistake Lashley's offer for weakness, and says that McIntyre has had his opportunity and would like someone else to have the opportunity of a lifetime. He then asks who wants to take the offer, then mentions that Shelton and Cedric will not be at ringside at WrestleMania. Lashley chews them out, saying they had a perfect opportunity to take McIntyre out and failed to get the job done. He also mentions the both of them losing the Raw tag team titles, and says he cannot count on them for anything and has no time for incompetence. MVP gives them a chance to speak for themselves, and when Shelton says they helped Lashley to the title and confronts MVP, MVP shoves Cedric out of the ring and Lashley lays Shelton out. Lashley then says The Hurt Business is over, then says that his offer for taking out Drew McIntyre still stands.
Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Matt Riddle, who says he just wanted to ask Sheamus a few questions and doesn't get what is up with Sheamus. He then says that Sheamus pissed him off, and that he does not like being pissed off. Riddle then sees Titus O'Neil, and after a brief conversation with him where he thinks he is part of the "Roast of WrestleMania," he is attacked from out of nowhere by Sheamus.
Backstage, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin meet with Adam Pearce, angry that Bobby Lashley has tossed them to the curb, and demand a match between Shelton and Lashley followed by a match between Cedric and whatever is left of Lashley next week.
MVP guests on commentary for the rest of the show.
Sheamus beats Matt Riddle. After the match, Riddle knocks Sheamus off the middle rope and to the outside, then tells Sheamus that he will get what is coming to him.
Backstage, Keith Patrick interviews Shane McMahon, Elias and Jaxson Ryker. Shane says that he some interesting things about Braun Strowman will be learned in the ring.
WrestleMania 37 is 12 days away!
Backstage, Drew McIntyre sees "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos. Styles says he and Omos have bigger plans for WrestleMania, and Omos says they are more realistic. Styles says they will embarrass The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and become Raw tag team champions. Styles says he is focused on beating Xavier Woods tonight, and says they might meet each other again.
Shane McMahon, Elias and Jaxson Ryker are in the ring. Shane insists that this knee injury is real and that adrenaline allowed him to get away from Braun Strowman so he could face him at WrestleMania. He then found something about Braun Strowman that goes back: a fifth grade report card in which Braun has all D's which states that Braun constantly instigated fights with other students, showed a lack of basic problem-solving skills and may have needed to go to summer school. We also see an edited picture of Braun in a WrestleMania 15 sweater and a dunce cap next to the words "2+2=5! I'm not stupid! I'm not stupid! I'm not stupid!" After Shane McMahon says that the three of them are willing to give him a hug, Braun shows up. Shane leaves the ring, as does Elias.
Braun Strowman beats Jaxson Ryker. After the match, Strowman chases Shane into the ring. Elias gets behind Strowman and hits him with a knee, then he and Shane pound on Strowman. Strowman eventually gets to his feet and pushes them out of the ring. Afterwards, Strowman reminds Shane that he not only accepted his challenge for WrestleMania, but also allowed it to be any match he wanted. He picks a match that Elias and Ryker cannot get involved and won't allow Shane to run or hide: a steel cage match.
It's time for The Dirt Sheet. After The Miz and John Morrison make fun of Bad Bunny for not winning an MTV Video Music Award and stating that he will lose at WrestleMania, Miz says he tried to teach Bad Bunny a lesson, but he went out of line. Miz says he will make Bad Bunny pay for every ounce of ridicule and disrespect and for every splinter that got stuck in his back, and that he will still be the backbone of the company after Bad Bunny's fifteen minutes of fame are up. The music video for "Hey Hey Hop Hop," which mocks Bad Bunny, then gets its world premiere. Afterwards, Bad Bunny and Damien Priest show up, admit they enjoyed the music video, then says he is glad that Miz found time to unwind and goof off. He tells Miz that he won't be laughing at WrestleMania, and Bad Bunny tells Miz that he will make Miz his bitch. Miz and Morrison leave the ring, and Priest stands between them and Bad Bunny before saying he doesn't need his help. When Priest stands aside, Miz advances towards Bad Bunny only to get punched in the face, then Priest and Bad Bunny get in the ring and knock the set over before tossing the music video poster out of the ring.
Backstage, Randy Orton says he has been privileged to go toe-to-toe with legends like Hulk Hogan, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, Kane, The Undertaker and John Cena, but none of them compare to The Fiend. Orton says he chose to watch The Fiend burn, saying that no man could have survived that, yet he was so obsessed with wanting The Fiend out of his life that he forgot that The Fiend is sadistic and "an abomination from Hell." He says that he thought that Alexa Bliss' premonition that The Fiend would come back was all part of a game, but now that The Fiend is back, he knows what he is dealing with, and at WrestleMania, he will stand across the ring from The Fiend once more. Orton says he knows what he needs to do and how far into Hell he needs to sink to get The Fiend out of his life once and for all.
Bobby Lashley beats Shelton Benjamin with the Hurt Lock after chasing Cedric Alexander to the stage and kicking out from Paydirt.
Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) meet with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos, proposing they try a few games for "game night" to see how much of a team Styles and Omos. Styles, not in the mood for games, says Xavier Woods will go down tonight, and that he and Omos will become champions at WrestleMania.
Sheamus vs. Matt Riddle for the WWE United States Championship is official for WrestleMania.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) are in the ring for "Game Night." They bring out AJ Styles and Omos, and to see if Styles and Omos are a well-oiled tag team, they play a series of games. The first game is Charades. The New Day get their pick right, but Styles and Omos do not, as Omos does not even try to guess. The next game has both teams guessing what is being drawn. Once again, The New Day get their picture right, but once again, Omos gives no effort, and they lose again. Omos finally has enough, saying they don't have to win the game and that they just have to win at WrestleMania, and it is then that The New Day will know what he is capable of. Styles then tosses everything out of the ring.
Xavier Woods beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles by disqualification after tossing Woods into the ring from the outside. After the match, Omos tosses Kofi Kingston over the barricade, then joins in on Styles' attack on Xavier Woods, plowing Woods into the mat with a powerbomb before pressing his foot on Woods' ribs.
We look back on Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H. vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30, courtesy of Snickers.
It's time for Alexa's Playground. She says that the jack-in-the-box in her hands is a whole lot more, and that jack-in-the-boxes were known as "devil-in-the-boxes," with weakened spells written on them. She talks about The Fiend being burned alive by Randy Orton, then says his soul was in her "Fiend-in-a-box" and that he needed time to come back. She says that Orton played with fire he did not understand and that he does not know what is next. She then says at WrestleMania, "The Legend Killer dies." After playing with the jack-in-the-box, The Fiend is seen on the swing next to hers.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre heads to the locker room and dares anyone to step up. He tells Braun Strowman he should have been a five-time world champion and asks why not, and Braun says that if McIntyre wins the WWE Champion, he'll be the first to find him. Drew grabs Humberto Carrillo and throws him to the floor, daring him to step up. He dares Matt Riddle to step up, but he has Sheamus to worry about. Another guy tries to hit him from behind, but gets thrown into a couch. After giving Drew Gulak a Glasgow Kiss, McIntyre dares Ricochet to step up. Ricochet tells Drew that Lashley's word means nothing to him and that he has known him for a long time, and if he wants a fight, then he should look no further. McIntyre tells Ricochet he will see him in the ring.
Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke guest on commentary for the next match.
Naomi beats "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler after Reginald gets on the apron, starts a fight against Lana and Nia Jax that sees Lana send Nia into Dana Brooke, who then attacks Lana. As Lana fights Dana Brooke, this distracts Baszler, who kicks Lana off the apron only to be rolled up by Naomi.
Backstage, Matt Riddle meets Asuka, and asks if scooters would be big in Japan.
Adam Pearce moderates a contract signing for Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka for the WWE Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania. Ripley comes out first, followed by Asuka. After Ripley mentions that Asuka is just the current champion, Asuka tells Ripley she is overconfident. Ripley admits she is, as she was confident enough to challenge her at WrestleMania, and that she is confident enough to tell her she will beat her for her championship. Ripley signs the contract, and Asuka does the same. Asuka laughs, then says that Ripley's confidence is borrowed, not earned, and as she says that Ripley is not ready for her, Ripley tosses the table into her before Nia Jax, Reginald and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler show up. Nia says she cannot tell what is worse: Rhea Ripley challenging Asuka, or Asuka accepting her challenge. Baszler says Asuka should be ashamed of herself, saying she knows better after what she has done to her. Shayna also says that she and Nia Jax have dominated the women's division for nearly a year, and says they should have a WrestleMania match. Ripley asks what is stopping them, and this leads Nia to challenge her and Asuka to a tag match next week. Ripley accepts on Asuka's behalf.
Backstage, Ricochet is met by MVP, who congratulates him on taking Bobby Lashley's offer, but Ricochet says he and Lashley are full of it and that he doesn't know when he will get another title opportunity. He says he is facing McIntyre because he knows he can beat him.
It is announced that Rob Van Dam has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
Drew McIntyre beats Ricochet. After the match, Mustafa Ali - no longer wearing all black - shows up out of nowhere and attacks McIntyre, but McIntyre tosses him out of the ring and demands Ali fight him.
Drew McIntyre beats Mustafa Ali. After the match, McIntyre dares Bobby Lashley to be a man and finish him himself. Lashley shows up and stands on the stage. After the commercial break, McIntyre tells Lashley that he can send anybody after him and play any tricks he wants, but he cannot stop the inevitable match between them for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. Lashley says he needs nobody's help, and that he nearly ended his career at Elimination Chamber. He then tells McIntyre the beating he gave him at Elimination Chamber will pale in comparison to WrestleMania. McIntyre states that Lashley would be the man in WWE if he wasn't here, then says he is here and tells Lashley that he only proved that he is afraid of him. Both men brawl, and McIntyre boot Lashley out of the ring. Suddenly, McIntyre is attacked from behind by King Corbin - a SmackDown Superstar - but McIntyre soon fights back. When he goes for the Claymore, Corbin counters with End of Days. Lashley then gets in the ring and puts McIntyre in the Hurt Lock three times.
