The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) beat Jake St. Patrick and Fuego del Sol.

This week's Rising Star is Red Velvet, whose father was a professional boxer, although she was more of a wrestling fan since age nine after watching with her mother. She became a professional dancer before becoming a pro wrestler, saying that she has always had the blood of a fighter. Cody says that Red Velvet - who still has yet to be signed to AEW - has not waited for an opportunity and seized the moment, and that she is more than a fill-in or substitute for Brandi Rhodes. (By Thursday, she would be signed to the company.)
Red Velvet and Big Swole beat Leva Bates and Madi Wrenkowski after Wrenkowski hits Bates with her book and Bates walks out. After the match, Vickie Guerrero, ade Cargill and "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose show up and stare Red Velvet and Big Swole down.
Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews "All Ego" Ethan Page, who says that the only number he cares about is his win-loss record, and that he is adding more numbers to his win column. He plans to win tonight, and he also plans to make sure that Alan "5" Angels isn't around any more in order to do The Dark Order a favor.
Team Taz (Powerhouse Hobbs and "Absolute" Ricky Starks) beat Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs after Hook trips Nelson from the outside.
Danny Limelight beats Baron Black by submission.
Orange Cassidy beats "The Hollywood Hunk" Ryan Nemeth with the mousetrap. After the match, Nemeth hits Orange Cassidy with a reverse neckbreaker, but when Chuck Talor into the ring to brawl with Nemeth, he is laid out from behind by JD Drake.
"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Alan "5" Angels. After demanding ring announcer Justin Roberts give him the microphone, he tells the future opposition that they just got a lesson on how to be the best professionl wrestler before telling the fans to get used to him racking up wins, as he will be here for a very long time.
Ryo Mizunami beats "Legit" Layla Hirsch by submission.
