Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for December 16, 2020

Matt Hardy and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat "Hangman" Adam Page and The Dark Order (Alex "3" Reynolds and John "4" Silver) after Hardy tags himself in for the pinfall following the Gin and Juice by Private Party.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews The Inner Circle. Chris Jericho and MJF agree that The Dinner Debonaire was great as he brags about retaining the Dynamite Diamond Ring, then says that The New York Times got one thing wrong as they named The Dinner Debonaire the best performance of 2020: he could not have done this without Jericho, who he says is the better performer as well as a mentor, the "G.O.A.T." and his best friend. He says that he could not have done this without Jericho or the rest of The Inner Circle.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes are decorating their Christmas tree when they find a package at their doorstep. Inside is a pair of baby shoes and a note stating that they are expecting a new baby in 2021. Meanwhile, Pharoah stands to the side with a "Baby Security (In Training)" bandanna around his neck.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Angelico. After the match, Team Taz shows up. Taz congratulates Cody on his victory and his new child, then Ricky Starks says nobody got any congratulations when they beat Cody and Darby Allin. Taz says that "The Machine" Brian Cage will make mincemeat out of Darby and that Team Taz will put Cody on maternity leave. Before Team Taz can even head to the ring, Sting shows up and pulls out a baseball bat. Powerhouse Hobbs has to be held back as Team Taz leaves. Sting then winks at Cody before leaving.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Miro, who has been fined $75,000 for laying out three staff members. Miro says Orange Cassidy does not care about anything, and says that Orange Cassidy owes him $75,000. He says that there will be a huge announcement next week, but before he breaks the Internet once again, he will face Sonny Kiss on Dark before making the big announcement regarding "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford's wedding. When asked about the three people he put in the hospital, Miro simply says "Bah humbug! It's my birthday."

Eddie Kingston shows up. After stating he does not care about any of the fans, he says that he has a lot of enemies, including God and PAC. He says that PAC is nursing his injuries back home and is not coming back, as his career is done. Eddie then addresses Lance Archer, who immediately shows up and attacks him. The Butcher and The Blade run in to the ring, and they and Eddie have to gang up on Archer to overpower him. Suddenly, The Lucha Bros. (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix) show up, and PAC soon joins them. The three of them fight Eddie, The Butcher and The Blade alongside Lance Archer and quickly clean house. When Archer goes for a choke slam on Eddie, PAC hits Eddie in the face with a pump kick. Despite taking exception to this, Archer stands alongside PAC, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. Rhodes says he has thought about The Dark Order's offer, then says "Seven" was a bad idea years ago and a bad idea last week, and tells Evil Uno that he was dead wrong calling him "the third-least most important member of the Rhodes family" and that he will kick his ass next week like he kicked Preston "10" Vance's ass.

Orange Cassidy guests on commentary for the next match (despite his headset not being plugged in).

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, MJF, Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager) beat Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent), Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and The Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) in a twelve-man tag team match. After teh match, The Inner Circle continue to go on the attack, but Top Flight cleans out the ring.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Thunder Rosa, who tells Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. that she has wrestled all over the world and that it is her fault she lost last week. She then says she is beating her ass because she does belong in AEW. Suddenly, Reba shows up to stand up for Baker, who attacks Thunder Rosa from behind before she and Reba mess up Thunder Rosa's face paint. Baker then jokingly asks if the camera is still working or if it is ruined by Thunder Rosa's "ugly" face.

Before the next match, Frankie Kazarian answers The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens)'s pre-match diss track, asking them if they are The Acclaimed or Men On A Mission.

The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) beat SoCal Uncensored ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) after Caster uses the boombox as a weapon as the referee is not looking. After the match, Caster tells The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) that he and Bowens want a tag team title match, and Bowens challenges them to one next week.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin). Darius says that they made the save earlier tonight because The Inner Circle found out a lot about them in their match, and challenge Chris Jericho and MJF to a tag team match, telling them they can either accept their challenge or "run away like two little bitches."

Serena Deeb and Big Swole beat Ivelisse and Diamante with a Cloverleaf from Big Swole to Diamante. After the match, Vickie Guerrero shows up with "The Native Beast" Nyla Rosa and they both attack Serena and Big Swole with Ivelisse and Diamante. Suddenly, Red Velvet shows up with a steel chair and strikes Nyla Rose from behind before clearing out the ring.

Backstage, we hear from Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent, Orange Cassidy). Taylor tells Santana and Ortiz that it will never be over between them, but for now, they have other things to attend to. Trent addressses Miro sabotaging Orange Cassidy's match last week, saying that Cassidy had the match won and and tell Miro they will be at Holiday Bash next week.

We see a video package of Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt), who will face The Dark Order (Colt Cabana, Alan "5" Angels, Preston "10" Vance) next week.

FTR (Dash Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up at the announce table, asking if the tag team division still matters when the "sideshow team" is being shown while feeling that their ability to put food on their tables is being threatened.

Next week: The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and MJF) vs. Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin)! Hikaru Shida in action! Evil Uno vs. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes! PAC vs. The Butcher! In two weeks: New Year's Smash Night 1 with Chris Jericho as special commentator! In three weeks: New Year's Smash Night 2 with special guest Snoop Dogg!

Before the next match, Don Callis says that nobody calls a Kenny Omega match like he can and tells Tony Schiavone to give him his headset and go to catering. Schavione responds by saying "Kiss my ass...get outta here." This does not stop Don callis from calling the match on a live microphone, nor does it stop Omega from joining in.

Kenny Omega beats "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela. After the match, Don Callis says the haters have been silenced and that there are no more questions for the AEW World Champion. Suddenly, The Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero M, Rey Fenix) shows up and PAC says he and Omega have unfinished business and that they are here to address injustice, mentioning that Rey Fenix took part in the World Title Eliminator Tournament and never lost and asking how Omega became the rightful champion. Callis asks PAC if he got some sort of executive promotion while he and Omega made history, then says that wrestlers don't tell the world champion what to do. PAC tells Callis he has already talked to Tony Khan and that Omega will defend the AEW World Championship against Rey Fenix next week. Omega is furious.
