Final Battle 2020 - The Results

Special thanks to Fightful for making this recap possible.

At the beginning of the show it is announced that Flamita, Bandido, Kenny King and EC3 are not on the show tonight due to possible COVID-19 exposure.

Tony Deppen defeats LSG, Josh Woods and Dak Draper with a roll-up to LSG for a shot at the ROH World Television Championship.

Backstage, Tony Deppen says he is already one match in and Dragon Lee may have the advantage on him, but he will make it up to his wife and newborn son and that he will not tell his son that he was a failure. He tells Dragon Lee to look into his eyes, as they are all he will ever know about him, and that Dragon Lee will have to kill him because he is not leaving without the ROH World Television Championship.

Backstage, it is announced that Shane Taylor and The Soldiers of Savagery (Moses and Kaun) are officially the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions by forfeit after Flamita and Bandido are unable to appear to defend the titles after also not having had defended them in so long. Shane Taylor says that he wanted himself, Moses and Kaun to make history after being promised championship gold in a year, and says that this is not the way they want to do it. He says that when they make history, they will do it the right way. Taylor says that they are not a charity, and tells ROH to keep the six-man titles.

Backstage, Brian Johnson says he will make an example of Danhausen in their match tonight, where Danhausen will get an Ring of Honor contract if he wins.

Backstage, Jay Briscoe - whose match with EC3 has been called off - says he has some real business to take care of. When he tries to tag team with his brother Mark Briscoe, Mark tells him he already has a partner tonight. Shane Taylor then shows up, and the two of them agree to have a match.

The Foundation (Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus) beat Fred Yehi and Wheeler Yuta in a Pure Rules tag team match with a crossface from Williams to Yuta.

The Foundation (Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham) retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships against PCO and Mark Briscoe and PCO accidentally Spears Mark Briscoe and Lethal rolls PCO up for the win.

Rey Horus beats Dalton Castle.

Matt Taven and Mike Bennett - now known as "The OGK" (short for "The Original Kingdom) - beat The Righteous (Vincent and Bateman). After the match, Vita Von Starr attacks The OGK before Vincent hits Matt with Orange Sunshine and ties Matt to the ropes with zip ties. Vita then chokes Matt unconscious as Vincent looks on before he brings a wooden plank into the ring, separates Bennett's legs with it, and smashes Mike's ankles with a stell chair.

Danhausen beats Brian Johnson by disqualification after spitting his collection of teeth out of his mouth into the referee's face - blinding the referee in the process - and faking being hit with a microphone by Brian Johnson when the ref is able to see what is going on again. As per pre-match stipulation, Danhausen has won a Ring of Honor contract.

Dragon Lee retains the ROH World Television Championship against Tony Deppen.

Shane Taylor beats Jay Briscoe. Both men shake hands after the match.

Jonathan Gresham retains the ROH Pure Championship against "The Mercenary" Flip Gordon by referee stoppage after knocking Flip Gordon unconscious following a flurry of punches.

Rush retains the ROH World Championship against Brody King after Dragon Lee distracts the refree, allowing Rush and Dragon Lee's father La Bestia del Ring to hit Brody with a steel chair. After the match, The Foundation (Jay Lethal and Johanthan Gresham) show up and stare down Rush and Dragon Lee from the stage.
