During the match, Scorpio Sky shows up with the steel slug that Tully Blanchard usually gives Spears, then sits down on the steps of the stage to watch the match and send a message to Spears. After the match, Scorpio Sky gets in the ring and hits KTB with a TKO to intimidate Spears further.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats Damian Fenrir.

Brandon Cutler beats Danny Limelight.

"Pretty" Peter Avalon beats Jon Cruz.

Shanna beats Tesha Price in her first AEW match in over eight months.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Scorpio Sky, who simply walks away when told that Shawn Spears will not give him a rematch.
