Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 1, 2020

In memory of Bob Ryder, 1956 - 2020.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero).

It is announced that Eddie Edwards is at home recovering from last week. Meanwhile, Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock are confronted by Scott D'Amore and security, and Shamrock is suspended for 30 days for striking an official. Callihan hands Shamrock the keys to his car and tells him to take a nice vacation before telling Scott D'Amore he should be lucky he is in a good mood and making his way into the building.

Backstage, John E. Bravo confronts Larry D and pins him against the wall. Tommy Dreamer, in a shirt saying "Police" on it, breaks up the brawl and threatens to arrest Bravo. Larry D says that he was set up, and when Tommy Dreamer tries to take him downtown, Larry D knocks him out and leaves with Acey Romero. Bravo returns and notices Dreamer is knocked out, then calls for help.

Jordynne Grace and Jazz beat Renee Michelle and Killer Kelly to advance in the Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Generation Me (Max and Jeremy Buck) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) in a Full Metal Mayhem Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Final Resolution 2010.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page says everyone loves screwing with him, including management, the matchmakers, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson and even Swoggle, but he has a plan to fix it all. He then says that he was the one who took out Doc Gallows, and says Anderson can fix it all by fighting him at Final Resolution. He demands a match, and says that if he wins, he can get a tag team title shot The North (Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) deserves. Page then awaits Anderson's decision.

Backstage, Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb meet up with Alisha, who is looking over the corner for somebody. He soon finds Sami Callihan and tries to attack him, but security stops her.

Johnny Swinger vs. Cody Deaner ends with Eric Young and Joe Doering laying out both men. Afterwards, Eric Young says this will continue until everyone's eyes are open, as he and Doering see clearly and they are the cure to the disease that has taken over the world which belongs to them.

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee meet with Father James Mitchell, who tells them that the process to turn Su Yung into Susie is not a quick process. Deonna says she and Kimber have a plan.

Backstage, Cody Deaner tells Cousin Jake he is tired of being treated like a nobody by Eric Young. Cousin Jake says they will fix this, but Cody says this is personal, as Eric Young was there since the beginning of his career. Cody says he considered Eric family, but now, he is a nobody to him, and next week, he will prove to Eric Young that he is not a nobody.

Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee show up. Deonna says that Su Yung has been haunting them since Bound For Glory, but it will all come to an end tonight when Su Yung's time comes, saying that if Su Yung wants a Knockouts title rematch, she had better come to the ring right now. Su Yung shows up, but so does Father James Mitchell, who calls Su Yung nothing but trouble and a thorn in his side for too long before saying that Su Yung will pay for her sins tonight. Undead bridesmaids show up and come for Su Yung, and tis allows Deonna Purrazzo to attack Su Yung. Su Yung fights back, and Kimber Lee provides enough of a distraction for Deonna to block the red mist and choke out Su Yung. With Su Yung gagging on her own red mist, Deonna hits Su Yung with Cosa Nostra, and the bridesmaids take Su Yung to the back, much to the delight of Father James Mitchell.

Backstage, Chris Bey is met by Moose. Moose tells Chris Bey that real power is taken, not given, and if he becomes successful and beat Rich Swann for the Impact World Championship, he will take it from him.

Backstage, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson tells "All Ego" Ethan Page he is losing his mind after taking out "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, and while it would not be smart to face him again, Anderson accepts Page's challenge for Final Resolution. Anderson then tells Page that he will beat the living hell out of him, and while Page has a lot of friends, so does he.

Rohit Raju retains the Impact X Division Championship against Crazzy Steve after grabbing the middle rope on a sit-down pinfall attempt.

Backstage, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz talk about winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championships and the money that comes with it. Fallah Bahh shows up wanting his money, knowing they took it. Kiera says they do not have the money on them right now as she and Tasha hide the money, and Kiera says they will have it next week. Suddenly, Johnny Swinger shows up, and Kiera and Tasha leave.

Backstage, TJP meets with Crazzy Steve, but Brian Myers shows up and insults Crazzy Steve. TJP stands up for Crazzy Steve, and Myers takes this as a challenge and tells TJP he will see him next week.

Next week: Eric Young vs. Cody Deaner! Brian Myers vs. TJP! "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. Chris Sabin! Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee vs. Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary in the Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament!

Willie Mack beats Chris Bey. After the match, Moose shows up and Spears Willie Mack, but Rich Swann runs into the ring and fights Moose off. Chris Bey then gets back into the ring and hits Swann with the springboard cutter to end the show.
