Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for December 15, 2020

Tenille Dashwood beats Alisha with the Spotlight after Alisha takes out Kaleb with a dive to the outside when Kaleb lays out Eddie Edwards. After the match, Sami Callihan's entrance briefly plays, then Callihan shows up on the video screen. Callihan suggest he and Eddie end their rivalry once and for all, and tells Eddie to take a few weeks off and enjoy the holidays, for they could be his last.

It is announced that Kenny Omega's tour bus is outside of the arena again this week.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). Shelley says XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D) was step one, that The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) - who is now at each other's throats and may not be around to face them again because of it - was step two and that step three is The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and ). Sabin says The Good Brothers never pinned either of them for the tag titles, and that his match with Karl Anderson is a preview of what happens when both teams clash. He says there is only room for two machine guns, and Anderson is not one of them. Meanwhile, Kenny Omega and Don Callis take exception to Chris Sabin's recent words from backstage, and tell Anderson to take Sabin out.

Backstage, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson asks Rich Swann if he has seen Chris Sabin, because he is ready to knock him out after what he said backstage. Swann says Anderson wants a fight because Kenny Omega told him to, then The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up. Anderson immediately decides to save everything for the ring upon seeing the Machine Guns show up.

Moose shows up. He says Willie Mack will not be able to compete in an Impact ring for a couple of rings because he hurt him and he hurts people. Moose then says he has not been angry yet, and that nobody knows what he is capable of when angry. He then says it makes him angry when Rich Swann gets all the attention and he does not, and while he admits Swann is a great competitor, the difference between them is that Swann stays hurt while he hurts people. Moose then tells Rich Swann to call up Willie Mack and ask him what pain feels like. Suddenly, Willie Mack shows up, and security soon stands between him and the ring. Moose asks Willie if he really wants to make him mad, but Willie is mad not at him, but beating and injuring him, and says what angers him most is when the referee says he is done when he has a lot left. Willie then says he will take matters into his own, and that he will make his own decision when they face off in an "I Quit" Match at Genesis. Moose says he is not the man to have an "I Quit" Match with, and Willie Mack says he is not here to wrestle before charging through security before brawling with Moose. When security stands between them, Moose attacks security while Willie is taken to the back. Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Moose, who says he is tired of independent wrestlers looking for opportunities as well as security ripping his clothes, and says none of them could last three minutes with him. He then says that anybody who puts their hands on him will get hurt.

Backstage, Chris Bey congratulates Rohit Raju on losing the X Division Championship, but Rohit says he is not the only person who lost last week and that he gets a title rematch. Bey prepares to leave, saying he has an idea, but Rohit wants to hear it from him. Bey says that if Rohit can rip Manik's mask off and prove TJP is the one behind the mask, he can get the X Division Championship back. Rohit loves the idea, and Bey says he has a match with Manik soon where Rohit will get his opportunity to unmask Manik. Rohit goes along with the idea.

We hear from Tony Khan and Tony Schiavone, who joke that they are on public access TV (a pun on "AXS TV," which Impact is currently airing on in the United States outside of Twitch). Khan says he will keep letting Kenny Omega keep appearing on Impact, and that Don Callis is giving AEW free press that he does not even have to pay for. Schiavone runs down the card for this week's AEW Dynamite while mocking Impact for not remembering "having fans when they were TNA." He then says he will teach Don Callis about the wrestling business when Callis taught him nothing.

We hear from Eric Young, who says that his mother passed away from disease, which can only be destroyed. Young then says that he has seen what his true purpose is, then says that he will baptize Cody Deaner - who is across from him - in the holy water of change.

Manik beats Chris Bey by disqualification when Rohit Raju and Chris Bey argue in the ring after Rohit gets caught in the ring trying to unmask Manik and Rohit hits Bey from behind. After the match, Chris Bey leaves with a smile on his face, having finessed Rohit Raju once again.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Sting's TNA/Impact debut at Final Resolution 2006.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page admits he lost to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, then says everything will be fine. Alexander tells Page to stop, and tells him to get help and figure things out, as they cannot be a team right now. Page says that he will get help, then says "we" have your back. Page leaves as Alexander is confused by the "we," then Brian Myers says he should move on and proposes the two of them become a tag team. Alexander says he is in a terrible mood and would rather kick his ass, then leaves.

On the tour bus, Kenny Omega tells "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson to forget about "Rich 'The Bitch' Swann," and Don Callis tells Anderson to "go back and take his name back." Anderson leaves, saying he will handle things. Omega says that he will not let Rich Swann run the show while he is here, as this is all about them.

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz beat Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary to advance to the finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament after Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee attack Rosemary, distracting Taya.

Eric Young talks with Cody Deaner, saying he has always liked good stories, and that while they make better people, they are also lies that tell a deeper truth, and says that professional wrestling is "sick." He says that Cody Deaner has waited for professional wrestling to give back and provide, but that a disease does not give, only takes. He says the parasite latched on to Cody, who did not see it, and Cody begins to agree with Eric.

Backstage, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz celebrate advancing to the finals of the Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament, then Kiera and Tasha refocus on Hernandez's money, with Tasha saying she does not have it as she shows Kiera the inside of her fanny pack. Suddenly, Johnny Swinger shows up, and Kiera and Tasha leave with Swinger's beer. Swinger then takes Tasha's fanny pack, which contains Hernandez's money, revealing that Tasha was hiding the money from Kiera.

Brian Myers beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander by disqualification after "All Ego" Ethan Page shows up in his alter ego of "Karate Man" and attacks Myers. After the match, Alexander confronts Page and tells him he needs help before leaving the ring. Page continues to stand in the ring in a karate pose, staring blankly forwards.

Eric Young talks with Cody Deaner, telling him that he is offering the truth and nothing more, and that he had "the disease" and that the fans were laughing at him. Deaner continues to agree with Young, who baptizes him in the holy water of change. Young says Cody is free, and Cody begins to agree with Eric Young that "the world belongs to us."

Backstage, Acey Romero talks with Tommy Dreamer, and tells him that Larry D has been set up. Dreamer tells Romero to prove his innocence if he really believes that. Dreamer then meets with Rhino and Cousin Jake, who talk about Eric Young and Joe Doering. Dreamer proposes that Jake and Rhino take down Young and Doering before things get worse.

The next two weeks: Impact Wrestling's holiday specials!

"Machine Gun" Karl Anderson beats Chris Sabin by grabbing the tights on a schoolkid pin after escaping a backslide counter to the Gun Stun. After the match, Kenny Omega and Don Callis celebrate on the tour bus, then Rich Swann confronts Anderson. Omega leaves the tour bus, then Anderson punches Swann out. Sabin confronts Anderson, then Doc Gallows returns and lays Sabin out. Swann superkicks Gallows, then Swann attacks Omega with a wet floor sign. Omega says that Bullet Club is getting back together, then Callis says that Omega and The Good Brothers will team up at Hard To Kill.
