Backstage, Kelly Kincaid (formerly known as Quinn McKay in Ring of Honor) interviews Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. Malik says that they are not only excited for the main event, but for the opportunity to face two of the strongest guys in NXT. Enofe say they may be some of the strongest, but he and Malik are two of the most talented and charismatic guys in NXT and that their opponents do not have unity, teamwork or chemistry, and that he and Malik will walk out victorious.
Yulisa Leon beats Arianna Grace.
Malik Blade and Edris Enofe beat Damaris Griffin and Bryson Montana. During the match, Quincy Elliott shows up, and this distracts Bryson Montana as Damaris Griffin tries titag him in. This allows Malik and Enofe to double-team Griffin and get the win.
