Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 28, 2022

Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen retain the NXT UK Tag Team Championships against Mark Andrews and Wild Boar.

In backstage footage from last week, Tyler Bate tells Trent Seven that he broke his heart and that he loved him like a brother, then tells him that he cannot run forever and that he is coming for him.

We see a press conference between Meiko Satomura and Sarray from last week. Sarry states that Satomura is recognized in Japan and around the world, but she will not stay down forever. She says that next week, she will be NXT UK Women's Champion. Sarry also proclaims that she is the sunrise while Satomura is the sunset. Satomura says that everyone tries to beat her, but no one can, and that while Sarray has the ability to challenge her, she will remain the strongest until someone beats her. Sarray vs. Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women's Championship is next week.

Blair Davenport beats Amale.

We hear from Oliver Carter, who sets a table for Die Familie (Teoman, Rohan Raja, Charlie Dempsey) and sends a message to them saying he will run through them and that Rohan Raja is next. Die Familie is furious.

On this week's East End Bookie, Sha Samuels just wants some peace and quiet. Unfortunately for him, he has no money left and he ends up giving the clothes on his back to whoever asks for money.

Chase University (Andre Chase, Bodhi Hayward, Thea Hail) debut next week!

Next week: Rohan Raja vs. Oliver Carter!

Ilja Dragunov retains the NXT UK Championship against Wolfgang despite injuring his lower back earlier in the match and further injuring it throughout. Both men shake hands after the match.
