Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 14, 2017

Drew McIntyre beats Rob Ryzin.

Next week on NXT: Ember Moon vs. Peyton Royce!

We get a closer look at Aleister Black.

The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) beat Wilmer Freyday and Anthony Dominguez. During the match, Akam wins the match on his own while Rezar and Paul Ellering take care of strategy at ringside. After the match, Akam and Rezar decimate the opposition with a Super Collider. Ellering then says that Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) are as foolish as they are large, as they have been undefeated for a year and have decimated every tag team they have come up against. He then says Heavy Machinery will not even make a footnote in the Book of Dominance, as they do not measure up. Suddenly, Heavy Machiner show up, and both teams stare down until Ellering holds the Authors back and all three of them get out of the ring.

We see a vignette for Sonya Deville, who will be on NXT next week.

The Velveteen Dream beats Raul Mendoza.

Kayla Braxton interviews Kassius Ohno. He has no idea where his friendship with Hideo Itami, and regrets last week's actions. He knows Hideo Itami is frustrated, and feels he has to lead by example to help him "cross the bridge" and get over. Next week, Kassius Ohno gets a match with Aleister Black, after asking for the match from General Manager William Regal as part of his "leading by example" strategy.

Nikki Cross vs. Ruby Riot vs. Asuka in a Triple Threat Elimination Match for the NXT Women's Championship ends in a no-contest after Cross eliminates Ruby and Cross and Asuka turn the match into a brawl outside of the arena, inside of the make-up room, the commentary table, and the tech area, and ends after Nikki Cross dives into Asuka and sends her crashing into a table.
