Tay tells Sammy that he does not need the money and that he does not even like MJF, and that it is his turn to listen.

Anna Jay A.S. beats Ashley D'Amboise with the Queenslayer. After the match, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Anna Jay A.S. is attacked from behind by Julia Hart. Anna sends Julia Hart into the ring post and stretches her out on it as referees try to restore order.

We hear from The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm, Ruby Soho). Saraya says they have been proving their point as of late and that Willow Nightingale is lucky to face her on Dynamite next week and get walked like a dog, and that The Outcasts will prove that AEW is their house.

The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) quickly beat Ryzin, Cameron Stewart and an unnamed third opponent.

Mark Henry interviews Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt and FTR. Lethal says Jarrett beats Dax earlier this week, and he will prove that FTR cannot hold a candle to them and that they will be the new tag team champions. Wheeler expects Lethal and his group to cheat like they did on Wednesday, as they have the worst of intentions for them and everyone else, and that they will have Mark Briscoe in their corner to stop the cheating.

Next week's Rampage will also air next Friday at 5:30 PM Eastern/2:30 PM Pacific.

Jay Lethal beats Cash Wheeler in a match with Mark Briscoe as special enforcer after Sonjay Dutt gets in the ring, distracting Wheeler and allowing Lethal to get the ring as Mark Briscoe is knocked off the apron and into the barricade.

After the match, Akam and Rezar decimate the opposition with a Super Collider. Ellering then says that Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) are as foolish as they are large, as they have been undefeated for a year and have decimated every tag team they have come up against. Generation NXT - NXT recap for August 10, 2016

Earlier today, Bobby Roode talked with NXT General Manager William Regal.

NXT General Manager William Regal is in the ring along with a table and two contracts. He introduces both Bayley and Asuka for their contract signing. She says that "the Asuka mystique" is gone, and plans to take the title back at TakeOver: Brooklyn II. She signs. Asuka tells Bayley she doesn't have what it takes, but admits she respects her. Bayley respects her, but the last contract signing she had, Asuka was left lying on the mat, and she tells Asuka to sign the contract, which she does. The match is official, and when Asuka offers to shake her hand, Bayley slaps it away. Bayley then gets back in the ring and stares down with Asuka.

The Authors of Pain beat Rob Ryzin and Adrian Nails. After the match, TM61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) show up and make the save before The Authors can finish off Rob Ryzin, but they too fall.

"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura tells Samoa Joe he's not hard to find, but Joe need not worry, as he can find him when he wants to.

Andrade "Cien" Almas beats Angelo Dawkins. After the match, Bobby Roode shows up and congratulates Almas, then says he talked to NXT General Manager William Regal early today, and felt that TakeOver: Brooklyn II needed to be more sophisticated and glorious. Therefore, he is facing Almas at TakeOver. He then tells Almas the TakeOver: Brooklyn II will only be there to see him, not Almas.

Austin Aries talks to NXT General Manager William Regal about getting a match at TakeOver: Brooklyn II. He gets one against No Way Jose, whom Regal says Aries has been avoiding for some time. Aries says that No Way Jose isn't in the same league as him, and he plans to prove that at TakeOver.

Billie Kay beats Liv Morgan.

Rich Swann, Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar from The Cruiserweight Classic can be seen in the front row.

NXT General Manager William Regal congratulates Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa on their match in The Cruiserweight Classic, and puts them in a match against The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) for the NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II. Earlier today, Wesley Blake told Buddy Murphy that he'll beat "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura and - unlike Murphy - win tonight, while Buddy Murphy says he'll beat Kota Ibushi and prove he's better than Blake.

Hideo Itami returns to NXT next week!

A more aggressive No Way Jose beats Steve Cutler, who has not been on NXT programming in some time and has also showed up with a new look and entrance theme. After the match, Jose tells Austin Aries he was trying to be encouraging, but Aries took advantage and became a coward. He tells Austin Aries he can turn a fiesta into a fight, and that he's going to kick his ass.

Kota Ibushi beats Buddy Murphy in his NXT debut.

Samoa Joe considers his NXT Championship defense against "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II a huge act of disrespect, and plans to fix this right now.

Next week: Bobby Roode arrives in NXT!

Samoa Joe shows up. He didn't know that NXT General Manager William Regal put him in a NXT Championship match against Shinsuke Nakamura until he walked into the building. He is angry with William Regal for not consulting him first, and says the match will not happen as he calls Nakamura "an undeserving contender" and didn't do what he did to get to the title. Regal shows up, and tells Joe he will fight who he tells him to fight. Joe says he had to jump over every hoop Regal had to get the title, and that Nakamura did not do that. He wants Regal to get him "a real, deserving contender," but Regal tells him if he refuses, it counts as a forfeit and Joe loses the title. Joe tells Regal that if this is how he wants to play, he'll have his match, but he will destroy Nakamura, and if he sees Nakamura before TakeOver, Nakamura might not make it to TakeOver at all. Nakamura shows up and stares down Samoa Joe from the top of the entrance ramp to end the show.

William Regal appears to start the show. He holds a contact signing for the NXT Women's Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, and Bayley and Sasha Banks show up to sign the contract. Bayley thanks Regal and the fans for everything, and says that this will be different from the other title shots and that everyone can feel it. Sasha tries to tell Bayley she's scared of her, and that she's not as good as she is. After she puts her stamp of approval on the contract, Bayley tells Sasha that she's ready to fight right now. Sasha responds by mocking Bayley outright, saying she's not a threat unlike Charlotte and Becky Lynch and that she's a loser and not worth it. As Sasha Banks walks away, Bayley charges at Sasha Banks and beats her up before officials stop the brawl.

Tyler Breeze beats Rob Ryzin (who is never mentioned by name) with a Supermodel Kick. Before the match, Breeze shows up with a Jushin "Thunder" Liger mask, probably to mock him, and after the match, he places the mask on Ryzin's head, then mocks Jushin "Thunder" Liger before hitting Ryzin with a Beauty Shot to give a taste of what will happen this Saturday at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn.

Kevin Owens shows up with a ladder in his hands and places it, fully set up, in the center of the ring. He makes his final declaration to Finn Balor before NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, but as soon as everyone chants "Brooklyn Sucks," he tells the crowd at Full Sail University they're all hypocritical, undeserving pieces of trash before calling Finn Balor "flavor of the month" and saying he'll beat him for the NXT Championship in front of a crowd that's actually deserving of such a match. He goes on to call Beast in the East a fluke, and says it won't happen again at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn as Finn Balor will encounter a different Kevin Owens. He tells Finn Balor that he's going to climb up the ladder and take the NXT Championship as Finn Balor is tended to by medical staff. The lights go out, then come back on, and Owens notices that Finn Balor is sitting on the top turnbuckle. Both men brawl, but Finn Balor easily overpowers Owens, then tells Owens he's going to kick his arse and shut his mouth.
