Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 12, 2017

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up to start tonight's show. Heyman says he is here tonight to unleash the beast, as it is Samoa Joe's day of reckoning. Last week, he asked permission to enter Joe's domain, and Joe lured him in and took him out, and kicked down the front door to the beast's lair. Now, Lesnar has a problem with Joe, and Lesnar is the greatest problem solver in WWE history. Heyman says he thought Joe was the worst-case scenario, and give Lesnar a real challenge. He says that Joe is not a proud warrior, and calls him a dog whose greatest accomplishment is putting the Coaquina Clutch on Paul Heyman. After Heyman came to from the Clutch, he questioned what would happen if Samoa Joe put it on Brock Lesnar only to come to the conclusion to put Lesnar in it as he is not a man. Suddenly, Joe shows up, gets in the ring and stares down with Lesnar. Joe then headbutts Lesnar and proceeds to beat him up, and General Manager Kurt Angle has to send security guards out to the ring to separate both men. Lesnar tears them all up, then tries to put Joe in the Kimura Lock only for Joe to escape. At this point, the entire Raw locker room has to hold both men back.

Elias Samson plays guitar and sings for the crowd, and makes fun of the crowd and the locale once again. He then sings about Dean Ambrose, and when Dean says he will fall again, Ambrose shows up.

Elias Samson beats Dean Ambrose. During the match, The Miz and Maryse show up and distract Ambrose, and nearly cost him the match. Ambrose goes after The Miz outside of the ring, and barely beats the ten count only to fall victim to a knee drop followed by a swinging neckbreaker from Samson, giving Samson the win.

We see another vignette from Goldust. He says that R-Truth was jealous and scared, and he got to R-Truth before R-Truth got to him. He says nobody ever understood him, either because he was too bizarre or because he made people uncomfortable. He says that ignorance can be beautiful, but just like beauty, nothing lasts forever unless you're made of gold, and tells R-Truth he hasn't seen anything yet.

General Manager Kurt Angle confronts The Miz for his actions earlier backstage. The Miz blames Angle and his personal problems for Dean tormenting him last week, which leaves Angle aghast. Miz also demands that Dean Ambrose be suspended and fired, but after how Miz talked to him, he decides to do nothing about it and tells Miz that if he has a problem with Ambrose, to deal with it himself.

We see a video package of Cedric Alexander.

Noam Dar is on his smartphone in the locker room when Cedric Alexander shows up and insists he is done with him and Alicia Fox. Turns out Alicia Fox is at home recovering from a neck injury, talking to Noam Dar through video chat, and she tells Alexander that if he has anything to say, to say it to her face. She then tells Noam Dar to punch Cedric's face in tonight.

Noam Dar and Alicia Fox can be heard chatting on video chat before the next match. It is then noticed that Alicia Fox is on the TitanTron. Cedric Alexander beats Noam Dar with a single Lumbar Check while Alicia Fox is wondering where Noam Dar is during the match.

Next week: Roman Reigns announces his plans for SummerSlam!

Bray Wyatt shows up. He says that those who deny him will be judged, and those who sit in pathetic apathy will pay for their guilt. He who dares blaspheme his name will be punished, just like Seth Rollins. He says Seth has it all figured out and has all the answers, , but he lives in a glass house where his blueprints cover the walls and blot out the sun. He says it only took his truth to shatter his glass house last week, and now Seth will be picking out shards of glass for eternity. He says that Seth's way of thinking has painted a picture that everyone lives by, but if anyone takes his name in vain, they will fall. Suddenly, Seth Rollins shows up, and tells Bray Wyatt that when he called him " afalse prophet" and " a wanna-be martyr," it was truth, not blasphemy. He says that Bray does not like the truth and that Bray likes to hide in the shadows and strike from the darkness like a coward, and if he doesn't like hearing that, they can go at it right now. Bray tells Seth his pride will betray him, as he oozes arrogance all over the place. He says that when Seth looks in his reflection, he knows that he is beneath him. He tells Seth that his power is more than he can possibly fathom. The arena goes dark, and when the lights come back on, Bray has disappeared. Bray then appears on the Titantron, and tells Seth "A god never dies."

Charly Caruso interviews The Hardy Boys (Jeff and Matt Hardy). Tonight, they plan on beating Sheamus and Cesaro twice tonight, taking the Raw tag team titles back, and breaking the bar.

It is announced that when John Cena returns to SmackDown Live on July 4th, he will be a free agent.

Akira Tozawa is seen in the front row before the next match, as part of Titus O'Neil's attempts to make Tozawa part of the Titus Brand.

Apollo Crews beats Kalisto. After the match, they get Akira Tozawa in the ring for a celebration and a selfie.

Heath Slater and Rhyno meet The Miz and Maryse backstage. Miz asks Slater - and only Slater - to become part of his entourage. Slater says he is interested in winning the Intercontinental Championship, and Miz tells Slater to join him so he can give him an opportunity at the match later on. He also tries to drive a wedge between Heath Slater and Rhyno, saying that Rhyno is a loser for eating crackers with spray cheese on them, and Rhyno tells Miz to buzz off before he goes to General Manager Kurt Angle and puts Miz in a tag team match with them later tonight. He then eats a bunch of spray cheese crackers before talking with his mouth full and Miz and Maryse back away.

Angelica Rodriguez and family win the sweepstakes for a trip to Universal Studios Florida with Enzo Amore and Big Cass.

Alexa Bliss shows up. Bliss brags about her Raw Women's Championship against Bayley and complains about her title defense against Nia Jax, and says she has absolutely no obligation of defending the title. As she continues to talk, Nia Jax shows up and demands a title shot. Alexa Bliss changes her tune, saying she is thrilled to have a title match against her. Alexa then says they could have had a classic match, but Dana Brooke and Mickie James ruined it. Mickie tells Alexa she has a long way to go before reaching her level of greatness, and says that Alexa said in the past that it was unfair that Jax get a title shot. Dana says Mickie is right and brings up the fact that they tried to turn them against Nia Jax. Alexa then tries to turn Nia Jax against them, saying that they are trying to steal their thunder, but Emma shows up for the first time in weeks after an injury. Emma tells Alexa Bliss she is ready to take her place on the top of the Raw Women's Division, and Alexa tries to turn Nia against Emma as well. Suddenly, Sasha Banks shows up. She says that being a champion means proving you are the best day in and day out, and that she has a ring full of women ready to throw down with her, any place, any time, but Alexa just wants to run her mouth. Sasha then decides to show Alexa how a real champion parties by punching her in the face. This starts a brawl where Dana Brooke, Mickie James and Sasha Banks go up against Alexa Bliss, Emma and Nia Jax.

Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Dana Brooke beat Alexa Bliss, Emma and Nia Jax after Alexa walks out on the match and Sasha makes Emma tap to the Banks Statement.

It is announced that Heath Slater and Rhyno will face The Miz and a partner of Miz's choosing later tonight. If Miz does not find a partner, he is going it alone.

We see a video package for Finn Balor.

Corey Graves interviews Bayley says she has never been in a match like a Kendo Stick Match, and is not here to put bruises on people. She is here to be herself, not to be someone she isn't. As for what the future holds for her, she continues to train to be the best and become the champion again, saying that her mindset and goals have not changed. She then asks Corey if they can end the interview on a hug, and she gets her hug.

The Miz's mystery partner is revealed to the bear suit man from last week. Miz is not happy.

Heath Slater and Rhyno beat The Miz and a man in a bear suit (jokingly referred to by Corey Graves on commentary as "Big John Cub") after the man in the bear suit turns out to be Dean Ambrose. During the match, The Miz, thinking that the bear suit man is Ambrose, beats him up and unmasks him only to find out that it is not Ambrose under the mask. Shortly after this, the bear suit man - with the mask back on - gets back in the ring and hits Slater with Dirty Deeds. Maryse warns The Miz that the man in the bear suit is Dean Ambrose, and her suspicions are correct when the bear suit man takes off the mask to reveal it is indeed Ambrose. The Miz accidentally knocks Maryse off the apron and potentially injures her as he tries to run away, and Maryse heads to the back. Ambrose then hits Miz with Dirty Deeds, then places Slater on top of Miz to give Slater and Rhyno the win. After the match, Ambrose places Miz' head in the bear suit mask. When Miz comes to, he removes the mask to find out it is the mask from the bear suit.

We look back at The Hardys' (Jeff and Matt Hardy) return at WrestleMania 33 and their feud with Sheamus and Cesaro.

Neville beats Rich Swann with the Rings of Saturn. After the match, he kicks Swann out of "his ring," then asks how many pretenders he has to obliterate before he gets the respect he deserves. He then brings up Akira Tozawa hanging out with Titus O'Neil, and tells Tozawa to tread carefully or else he will bend the knee.

Charly Caruso interviews Sheamus and Cesaro. They say they know The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy), and even bring up their book Exist 2 Inspire. They promise to retain the Raw tag team titles tonight, and give them inspiration for a dequel entitled "Exist 2 Retire."

Before the nex match, it is revealed that Big Cass has been attacked again. The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) are seen in the background again as Enzo Amore checks on Cass, who insists on wrestling the match despite being hit in the back of the head. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson mock them, then Enzo and Cass show up. Referees plead for Cass not to take part in the match, but Cass insists on going ahead.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Before they can hit Big Cass with the Magic Killer again, Big Show shows up and clears the ring. Big Show then helps Enzo up as Big Cass stares a hole through Big Show.

We see another vignette from R-Truth. He says there was nothing cool about what Goldust did to him, and that he doesn't forgive or forget. Instead, he gets even, and Goldust is gonna get got.

Backstage, Big Show runs into Enzo Amore, who thanks him. Enzo starts to get suspicious, and has the feeling Big Show is behind the attacks. Big Show gets wise and calls Big Cass "S-A-W-F-T" in response to the accusations.

Mike Rowe interviews Samoa Joe, who says that Brock Lesnar is playing right into his strategy, and says it's not about the words, it's about the actions. He capitalized on what he did last week by letting Lesnar who he is dealing with this week. At Great Balls of Fire, he will take the Universal title from Brock Lesnar.

Noam Dar, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson advertise Pizza Hut's Cheesy Bites Pizza.

The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro in a two-out-of-three falls match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships ends in a double count-out.
