Extreme Rules 2017 - The LIVE Results

Charly Caruso interviews The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in the Social Media Lounge. Matt says the timing for them to come back to the WWE was right, as they started there and want to finish there. Jeff said he would be back in 2009, and here he is. Matt says they chose the Steel Cage Match because Sheamus and Cesaro are experts at "not going away," and want to beat them in a Steel Cage Match so they can move on. They have a message for Sheamus and Cesaro: this is your last chance and if it doesn't happen for you, it will not happen. They will end this.

Kalisto beats Apollo Crews with a Salida Del Sol off of Titus after Apollo and Titus waste too much time formulating a strategy.

The Miz beats Dean Ambrose to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the seventh time after pushing Dean Ambrose into referee John Cone when Maryse slapping Miz does not work and gets Maryse ejected. As John Cone is about to call for a disqualification win for The Miz, Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on a distracted Ambrose for the win. (Had Dean Ambrose been disqualified, the Intercontinental title would have changed hands.)

Money In The Bank comes to pay-per-view and the WWE Network in two weeks!

Charly Caruso interviews Bayley. She says Alexa Bliss thinks a lot of things, but she is no Mankind or The Rock. Alexa does not know her or how much the Raw Women's title means to her, and has watched a little bit of The Sandman, "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman and even the new Wonder Woman movie. She's not here to hurt, but she is willing to do what it takes to get back at Alexa and take back the Raw Women's title.

Sasha Banks and Rich Swann beat Alicia Fox and Noam Dar after Sasha hits Noam Dar with the double knees to the outside.

"The Drifter" Elias Samson plays guitar and sings for the crowd, where he proceeds to mock the town of Baltimore, Maryland and everyone in the arena before singing about tonight's show.

Alexa Bliss retains the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Bayley in a Kendo Stick On A Pole Match.

Sheamus and Cesaro beat The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in a Steel Cage Match to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships, climbing up the steel cage and landing on the outside just before Jeff Hardy can drag Matt Hardy out through the steel cage door.

Neville retains the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Austin Aries in a Submission Match. Aries gets the Last Chancery in, and makes Neville tap, but it does not count as it happened outside of the ring. Neville wins it with a Red Arrow to the back of Aries followed by the Rings of Saturn.

Great Balls of Fire will be on pay-per-view and the WWE Network on July 9th!

Samoa Joe beats Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor to become #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship and face Brock Lesnar for the title at Great Balls of Fire, after Joe gets the Coaquina Clutch on Finn and puts him out after Finn hits Roman Reigns with a Coup De Grace following a Sling Blade to counter a Spear attempt.

On Raw Talk, Samoa Joe makes it known that he is prepared for his match with Brock Lesnar.
