Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 7, 2017

Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic) beat Victor Andrews and Lars Sullivan. (Lars Sullivan appeared weeks ago under the name Dylan Miley.) After the match, Sullivan takes his anger out on Andrews and lays him out in the ring.

Christy St. Cloud interviews SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dain) in footage from last week. Killian Dain says that after what just happened, nobody is safe, especially No Way Jose.

Roderick Strong shows up. He says that he will be honest with the crowd, and the last year has been a roller coaster for him, joining NXT and raising a family. Strong thanks the fans for hearing his story, and accepting him into NXT. He is here for one reason and one reason only: the NXT Championship. As thankful as he is, he wants the title, and he is more inspired, driven and motivated to be him. Suddenly, Bobby Roode shows up, wiping his eyes with tissue paper as if to treat his life story like a sob story, and slowly starts to make fun of him, starting with his wife and kid. He says Roddy wants to play "the Bobby Roode lottery," and tells him he is a good hand, but tells him to "stay in his lane" and that maybe they can be friends down the line. Roode tells him not to play "the Bobby Roode lottery," as he is not man enough to win.

Nikki Cross wants to play with Asuka...again...

The Triple Threat Elimination Match for the NXT Women's Championship between Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross and Asuka is next week.

We see a video package of Paul Ellering and The Authors of Pain.

Peyton Royce beats Sarah Logan.

In footage from last week, Andrade "Cien" Almas is seen preparing for a night on the town when a woman walks up to him and asks him "Is this what you are now?" After a second of silence, she slaps him.

Before the next match, we see footage of Christy St. Cloud asking Hideo Itami if he is going back to Japan. Hideo Itami says he is not returning to Japan, as one loss does not mean that he is going home. He is not done yet.

Hideo Itami vs. Oney Lorcan ends when Hideo hits Lorcan with the Go To Sleep three times. Kassius Ohno has to rush into the ring and get Hideo to stop. Hideo shoves him, but Ohno shoves back, and Hideo eventually leaves the ring. Ohno then checks on Lorcan after the referee throws the match out.

Drew McIntyre is in action next week!

Christy St. Cloud interviews Ember Moon, who is now cleared to return. She will be watching the Triple Threat Elimination Match next week, and says that her next opportunity at the NXT Women's Championship will be the opportunity.

Killian Dain beats No Way Jose.
