Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 1, 2017

Ethan Carter III shows up to start the show, and it is noticed that there is a barbershop quintet in the ring. The quartet sings EC3's theme song while a woman plays violin to celebrate EC3 being #1 contender for the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. At Slammiversary, he takes on Lashley for the Impact World title, and he has something special for him: fight music, which is sung by the quintet. Suddenly, Alberto El Patron, Bruce Prichard, Karen Jarrett, Tyrus and Bruce Prichard show up. Prichard makes a match between El Patron and EC3 with both the GFW Global Championship and EC3's Impact World title shot on the line...in Six Sides of Steel.

Moose retains the Impact Grand Championship against Eli Drake by judge's decision.

In footage from earlier today, Allie questions why Rosemary would help her. Rosemary shows up and says Allie needs protecting due to all the danger that she is in.

It is announced that Impact Wrestling is going back on the road starting August 5th at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in Staten Island in New York City, New York.

We hear from Matt Sydal, who says tonight's match between Andrew Everett and Low Ki will set the tone for the X Division going forward.

Allie beats Amber Nova. Swoggle is seen in the crowd before the match.

Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park are seen in a golf cart on their way to the arena.

The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) beat The Veterans of War (Mayweather and Wilcox) in a no-disqualification match to win the Global Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships and the GFW tag team title tournament after Konnan hits Mayweather in the back of his hurt leg with a baseball bat before hitting Wilcox in the back with one of the TNA tag title belts.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park backstage. JB does not want to get in the ring against Scott Steiner, but Joseph Park tells JB he has to be competent, saying he has faced adversity all his life by bucking up, and says that between now and Slammiversary, they will learn everything there is to learn about tag team wrestling. Jeremy Borash reacts by simply asking Park "Have you lost your damn mind?"

Sonjay Dutt guests on commentary for the next match.

Low Ki retains the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship against Andrew Everett.

Lashley plans to make Impact great by keeping up with the people who want to rise with him, so that they can all raise the bar together.

Rockstar Spud finally gets his revenge on Swoggle and hits his ankle with a hammer. As Spud gives Swoggle a beating, security have to tell him to leave after Spud scares off the Impact referees who try to stop him initially.

Alberto El Patron retains the Global Force Wrestling Global Championship against Ethan Carter III in a Six Sides of Steel Match to go on to Slammiversary to face Lashley for the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.
