Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for June 8, 2017

Bruce Prichard speaks with Jeremy Borash and Josh Mathews in footage from earlier today. Prichard wants the bickering between them to stop, and says that if there is any physical altercations between them between now and Slammiversary, they will be fired.

It is announced that tonight's episode is taped in Stage 7 of Film City in Mumbai, India...something never before done.

Alberto El Patron shows up to start the show. Tonight, he plans to do what he does best and kick some butt in the ring tonight like he's done worldwide for years. He says he has won numerous titles throughout his career, and he has one more he wants to put on his list: the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship. Suddenly, Lashley shows up and says he is sick and tired of El Patron talking about how tough he is. He says he is the realest wrestler in the business, and says he will fight him anywhere in the arena if that is what it takes. Lashley says Slammiversary XV will be easy, as he will be dealing with another cheerleader. He then tells El Patron he doesn't care about his family and that he is the man around here, and at Slammiversary, he will shut him up, retain the Impact World title, and take the GFW Global title with him. He then says El Patron might as well head back to Mexico after that. Suddenly, Bruce Prichard shows up, and asks both men if they want to defend their titles tonight. He then puts both men in matches for their respective world titles against separate opponents. If their opponents win, they go to Slammiversary as champion. As for who their opponents are, they won't find out until the matches take place.

Bruce Prichard is backstage with Eli Drake. Drake thinks that Prichard has a problem with him after the events of last week's Impact Grand Championship against Moose. Prichard says he doesn't, and before Eli Drake can mention the potential problems they are going to have, Chris Adonis shows up. He says he and Eli Drake deserve a shot at El Patron and Lashley. Prichard says he'll think about it.
