We see a video package of Sonjay Dutt talking about his history in TNA and his hunt for the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship.
One Night Only: June 2017 premieres on pay-per-view tomorrow!
It is announced that DeAngelo Williams is making his pro wrestling debut at Slammiversary.
Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park head to the Chinese buffet, then prep for video study.
The Latin-American Xchange can't go to India due to their criminal records, so they're going up against tag teams in other promotions.
Ethan Cater III shows up, calling himself E-Singh-3, and shows up with an interpreter. He meditates in the middle of the ring, then introduces himself before asking the translator to translate for him. EC3 then says he traced his family lineage and learned a distant ancestor was born in Calcutta, India and is full-blooded Indian, and says he is with India and that India is with him. He says India is a land of rich, cultural history, and Impact and India are making history together, then calls India "a third-world hellhole," and says he is here to destroy history. He wanted tranquility, but found angry and despair, and the people are trash. EC3 calls himself "the one golden god" and the best guy in the world. The translator is a reluctant to translate what EC3 has said about his own people, and EC3 beats him up to prove a point before pulling out a belt and whipping him with it. "The Cowboy" James Storm shows up and turns the tables on EC3, forcing him to retreat.
We see footage from earlier today in catering. Needless to say, Rockstar Spud and Swoggle hate each other. After Spud says he hates short people, Swoggle gets on the table and shoves Spud's face into his food, and Spud chases Swoggle out of catering.
Josh Mathews gets in the ring. He says he and Scott Steiner will eviscerate and abolish Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park from Impact Wrestling forever. He says that Scott Steiner's return is just a taste of what will happen to Borash and Park at Slammiversary. Since he cannot lay a hand on Borash until Slammiversary, he has set up a sparring session with a hand-picked opponent, Sandeep Dakan, whom he says has been on the Indian Olympic team as well as Bollywood movies (which is quickly debunked by Borash on commentary).
Josh Mathews beats Sandeep Dakar with the Steiner Recliner, but refuses to release the hold until Mahabali Shera shows up. As Shera has Mathews where he wants him, Lashley shows up and attacks Shera from behind, and Mathews puts Shera in the Steiner Recliner until Alberto El Patron scares him and Lashley out of the ring.
Ethan Carter III and Lashley vs. "The Cowboy" James Storm and Alberto El Patron is officially the main event for next week.
Jeremy Borash watches Joseph Park play with action figures, then watch Scott Steiner videos to see what they are up against. They then see what they are up against in Scott Steiner, find out just how dangerous he is, then they get a Skype call from Steiner himself.
Braxton Sutter beats Trevor Lee. After the match, Sienna and Laurel Van Ness show up, and Sienna challenges Allie and Rosemary to a tag team match against her and Van Ness after what Allie did to her and Laurel Van Ness the last time they met in the ring.
We see a video package of Low Ki prior to his X Division Championship defense against Sonjay Dutt.
Impact Wrestling superstars talk about Slammiversary XV.
Moose shows up. As soon as Moose mentions his successful Impact Grand Championship defense against Eli Drake two weeks ago, Eli Drake shows up with Chris Adonis. Eli Drake says he and Chris Adonis have been given the run-around by management while Moose has become a champion with a title he does not deserve, and implies that Moose has had to kiss butt to get where he is. Moose asks the crowd if they want to see him wrestle Eli Drake and Chris Adonis at Slammiversary, and the crowd makes it clear they do. Adonis tells Moose he is alone, but when he and Eli Drake try to take Moose down in the ring at the same time, Moose gets the other hand. Moose then tells them that he will reveal his Slammiversary partner next week.
Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park answer the call from Scott Steiner, who makes it clear to them that they are dead men at Slammiversary as he continuously calls them "fatasses."
Sonjay Dutt beats Low Ki to become the Impact Wrestling X Division Champion after 15 years of trying. A few members of the locker room celebrate along with Dutt after the match.
