Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for June 13, 2017

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) start the show with a New Day Mardi Gras party to celebrate the fact that New Orleans, Louisiana is the home of WrestleMania 34, where they plan to bring the SmackDown tag team titles into the ring after having won them this Sunday from The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Usos). The Usos shows up, and promise to retain the tag titles this Sunday. Suddenly, Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) show up and tell them their "Day 1" is "not so H." Primo and Epico Colon show up, and tell Breezango they are the worst detectives either and that their fashion sense is horrible before telling them they did not trash their office and that they will trash them in the ring tonight. The New Day then tell Primo and Epico they will enforce their boots between their buns, because New Day rocks.



The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Primo and Epico Colon.



AJ Styles and "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura are backstage when Sami Zayn meets up with them. Sami Zayn wants to talk strategy in their six-man tag team match tonight, but neither man wants to listen.

Dasha Fuentes interviews Mojo Rawley, who plans to up his game after last week's loss. Suddenly, Zack Ryder shows up and tells Mojo they have unfinished business as a tag team.



Lana shows up before the next match, and watches from ringside.

Naomi beats Tamina, then Lana attacks her after the match before holding the SmackDown Women's Championship up in the air.



Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers (Sunil and Samir Singh) show up. Jinder says he will prove Randy Orton is nothing but a coward on Sunday, when he embarrasses him in his hometown in front of family and friends, including his father, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, Jr., who will be sitting front row. He says he will use Orton's fear like a sword of enlightment to cut down his legacy until there is nothing left, and that Sunday will be the start of the age of The Modern Day Maharaja. He then speaks to his people in his language, then Orton shows up. Jinder sends The Singh Brothers to the ramp, but Orton comes out of the crowd and hits Jinder from behind with an RKO.



Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens talk in the locker room. Owens says they can either work together and enter Money In The Bank with momentum, or they can work against each other and not come into Money In The Bank looking good. He says they do not have to be friends, but they do not have to be their own worst enemies, either.

Renee Young interviews Randy Orton, who says that the time for conversation is over and that this Sunday, he will take back the WWE Championship.

The Sayles family are that recipients of the Johnsonville Sausage Seat Upgrade.

Charlotte beats Natalya. During the match, Becky Lynch is seen watching the match from backstage, as are Carmella and James Ellsworth.



It's time for Fashion Files. Fandango admires himself in the mirror, then wonders where Tyler Breeze is. He finds Tyler Breeze laid out in the office, and he tells Fandango the attackers had greesy hair, dry skin and two arms. This leads to a rather interesting perp sketch.

Earlier today, SmackDown Live Superstars spent time with New Orleans Saints superfan Jarrius "Little JJ" Robertson, who is in the front row for tonight's show.



Dasha Fuentes interviews Lana, who plans to crush Lana and become SmackDown Women's Champion.

Sami Zayn, AJ Styles and "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura beat Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens. After the match, Ziggler goes on the attack, and Owens brings out a ladder. After ramming it into Nakamura and Sami Zayn, Ziggler and Owens are laid out by Corbin. Corbin goes for the briefcase, but Nakamura pushes the ladder down along with Corbin and hits Corbin with the Kinshasa before climbing up and grabbing the briefcase to end tonight's show.



On Talking Smack, The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) talk about what's next.
