With Bret Hart out of action, WWF President Jack Tunney made Diesel #1 contender for the WWF Championship. Diesel says he got up at 4 AM, walked the streets, and was encouraged by passers-by. As for Bob Backlund, he admits the bow-ties are quite stellar and that Backlund is a real man and a real wrestler, but he tells Backlund he'll have to get the Crossface Chicken Wing on him if he is to stand a chance. Diesel also says that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is a great wrestler and champion, especially after their match back at King of the Ring. Survivor Series 1994 - The Results
All of the Survivor Series teams have one last pep-talk before the start of the show.
The Bad Guys (Razor Ramon, The 1-2-3 Kid, Fatu, Sione, The British Bulldog) beat The Teamsters (Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, "The King of Harts" Owen Hart, "Double J" Jeff Jarrett), with Razor Ramon the only survivor, after Diesel turns on Shawn Michaels after the third accidental super kick to Diesel's face. All the other members of The Teamsters try to calm Diesel down, but they all get beat up as Diesel chases after Michaels. This leads to all members of The Teamsters being counted out simultaneously.
Shawn Michaels tells Todd Pettengill he's through with Diesel, and says that Diesel is a zero without him before he speeds out of the arena, dropping one-half of the WWF Tag Team Championships on his way out.
Diesel is on the Survivor Series hotline, no doubt talking about how he's had enough from Shawn Michaels.
The Royal Family ("The King" Jerry Lawler, Sleazy, Queasy and Cheesy) beat Clowns R Us (Doink, Dink, Wink, Pink) without losing a single man with the dirtiest tactics imaginable. When "The King" Jerry Lawler takes full credit for the win and hogs the spotlight, the three of them defiantly raise their own arms in victory. Lawler chases after them for it, but when Sleazy, Queasy and Cheesy turn on Lawler, they are joined by Dink, Wink and Pink, and Lawler gets chased back to the back by six little people only to get pied by Doink.
Todd Pettengill interviews the new WWF Women's Champion, Bull Nakano...and has no idea what she's saying.
79% of Survivor Series opinion poll participants say that Bob Backlund's Crossface Chicken Wing is more devastating than Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's Sharpshooter.
Bob Backlund beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in a submission match to win the WWF Championship. During the match, The British Bulldog hits his head on the steel steps while chasing after "The King of Harts" Owen Hart, who regrets what has happened and checks on British Bulldog. Owen Hart starts crying, and and tells parents Stu and Helen Hart (who are in the front row for the match) that he did not mean for this to happen and asks them to throw in the towel on Bret's behalf as he cannot bring himself to do it. With Bob Backlund putting Hart in the Crossface Chicken Wing for over five minutes, and with Hart unable to break out of the hold, Helen Hart sadly throws in the towel after initial reluctance from Stu. Owen then runs away with the pink-and-black towel in his hands, and Bret Hart has to be helped to the back.
Todd Pettengill interviews "The King of Harts" Owen Hart, who is smiling at what has happened, revealing that this was all a set-up and that his own parents fell right into his own trap. Owen goes so far as to say that Bret "The Hit Man" Hart cheated to retain the WWF Championship, and calls Bret a loser and a nobody.
The Million Dollar Team (Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy, Dr. Tom Pritchard, "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Rey) beat Guts and Glory (Lex Luger, Mabel, Adam Bomb, Billy Gunn, Bart Gunn) in a Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match, with King Kong Bundy and Bam Bam Bigelow surviving after Bundy hits a splash on Luger after an inside cradle pin on Tatanka. After the match, Bundy, Bam Bam and Tatanka attack Luger, only for Adam Bomb and Billy and Bart Gunn to clean house. Mabel seems to show up late, but Pritchard and Jimmy Del Rey show up only for Mabel to clobber them. Everyone then checks on Luger, who is able to stand up under his own power.
Todd Pettengill interviews Bob Backlund as they are surrounded by photographers. Backlund claims he has been champion since 1978, and beat "the man who represents your society" to take the belt back. He then plans to mold society back into what he wants it to be by putting morality back into them, and says he'll take on anybody to defend the title. He then says that he feels like God, raises the WWF Championship up, and leaves.
Thanks to special troubleshooting referee Chuck Norris from Walker, Texas Ranger, The Undertaker beats Yokozuna in a Casket Match rematch. King Kong Bundy and Bam Bam Bigelow try to interfere, and Irwin R. Schyster gets in the ring and attacks Undertaker (who he has been trying to audit) while the referees are distracted by them. He gets a sleeper hold on 'Taker and sends him into the casket before escaping into the crowd, but it's not enough to help Yokozuna win the match. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett tries to run in as Undertaker rebuilds momentum, but he gets swiftly roundhouse kicked by Norris. Undertaker then boots Yokozuna into the casket, snaps Mr. Fuji's Japanese flag in two and tosses it in with him, then closes the casket to win the match.
Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 14, 1994
Note: This episode is shown in its most complete form on the WWE Network due to original production technical difficulties. You can get some extra details on the matches not shown on the Network here and here.
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase guests on commentary this week.
Bob Backlund beats The 1-2-3 Kid with the Crossface Chicken Wing, and refuses to let go. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up to go after Backlund to force the hold off of The Kid, and officials have to keep the two men from having a pre-Survivor Series brawl. Backlund gets the Crossface Chicken Wing ready on Hart, but can't lock it in and has to escape. Backlund tells Hart that he let the hold go just to remind Hart of what he will feel at Survivor Series, then leaves. Hart goes after Backlund, attacks him from behind, briefly puts him in the Sharpshooter, then tells Backlund he did that to him for the exact same reason and that he won't let out of it at Survivor Series. (The match was marred by original production technical difficulties, and the show starts with The Kid in the Crossface Chicken Wing on the WWE Network.)
Mabel beats The Black Phantom (who is called "The Blue Phantom" during the match).
Chuck Norris of Walker, Texas Ranger says he's ready to make sure history doesn't repeat itself when Yokozuna and The Undertaker have their second casket match. He tells Yokozuna not to get out of line, as he's watching his every move.

Hear controversial interviews with a different Superstar daily and behind the scens gossip on the official Survivor Series hotline, and take the special WWF opinion poll: which submission hold is more effective? Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's Sharpshooter or Bob Backlund's Crossface Chicken Wing?
Irwin R. Schyster says he was fair in repossessing The Undertaker's headstone, and says that if 'Taker's beneficiaries paid the burial tax, he wouldn't have had to do what he did. He tells 'Taker that six feet under is not a tax shelter.
It's time for The King's Court. This week's guest is another king: "The King of Harts" Owen Hart, who is conspicuously without Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Owen is excited for Bob Backlund to fight his brother, Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and says nobody knows Bret more than he does. He promises to Backlund that he will not throw the towel in at Survivor Series, and that Bret's side will be the one surrendering. Both Owen and "The King" Jerry Lawler come to the conclusion that Bob Backlund is technically still the WWF Champion. They then call out The British Bulldog, who shows up with the pink and black towel. Bulldog says that Hart is the champion, not Backlund, and will still be champion after Survivor Series. Owen tells Bulldog there's no chance for Bret to break out of the Crossface Chicken Wing, and that the Sharpshooter, while an excellent hold, is nothing compared to it. Owen then tells Bulldog to let Bret suffer and make him cry, then throw in the towel so Backlund can become the rightful champion again. Bulldog says that he will never throw in the towel no matter what, and tells Owen to dare Backlund to put Bret Hart in the Crossface Chicken Wing.

"The King" Jerry Lawler fills in for "Macho Man" Randy Savage this week.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and The British Bulldog beat "The King Of Harts" Owen Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart with a Sharpshooter to Neidhart.
We hear from Chuck Norris of Walker, Texas Ranger, who says he looks for the toughest opponents he can find, and there are none tougher than the WWF Superstars. He's at Survivor Series to see them get it on as he takes on a "special troubleshooting referee" role in the Casket Match between The Undertaker and Yokozuna. Also, the WWF Championship match is a submission match, with British Bulldog in Bret "The Hit Man" Hart's corner with a pink and black towel, and "The King Of Harts" Owen Hart in Bob Backlund's corner with the same white towel Arnold Skaaland threw into the ring all those years ago.
Two members of Unitel Video Productions suffered an accident earlier today, and Vince McMahon wishes them a quick recovery.
Bam Bam Bigelow beats Tyrone Knox.
Vince McMahon announces that "Macho Man" Randy Savage has been unable to come to terms to a new contract with the World Wrestling Federation. Vince McMahon thanks Savage for all of the positive contributions and wonderful memories during his time in the World Wrestling Federation, and wishes him the best of luck.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for November 5, 1994
Tatanka beats Billy Gunn after "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase gets on the apron to distract the referee so that Bam Bam Bigelow can push Billy Gunn off the top rope. After the match, Tatanka and Bigelow take the boots to Billy Gunn, but Bart Gunn runs in to make the save, chasing Tatanka and Bigelow out of the ring in the process.
During the Survivor Series report, we hear from Bob Backlund, who says that all the politics are over and that he got what he wanted for the contract for his match against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart: a submission match. He tells Bret to remember that he has put many top wrestlers in the crossface chicken and that nobody - including Bret himself - has been able to get out of it. "The King of Harts" Owen Hart, who is there with him, says his corner will not throw the towel, but Hart's corner will when Bret is put in the crossface chicken wing and forced to submit. We then hear from Bret, who says being the WWF Champion is all about confidence, and he is confident. He knows this is a match between generations and that he will not let his generation down, as there is no way for Backlund to get him in the crossface chicken wing. He tells Backlund that he will be the one watching his back as he is the one with Owen Hart in his corner. The British Bulldog says his towel is not going to be leaving his hands.
Duke "The Dumpster" Droese beats Barry Hardy. After the match, Bob Backlund sneaks into the ring and puts Barry Hardy in the crossface chicken wing, and lets go when Droese runs into the ring. When Droese checks on Barry Hardy, Backlund turns around and puts Droese in the hold, and referees have to pull Backlund off Droese.
Kelly Munson is the special guest ring announcer for the next match.
Diesel beats Tim McNeany.
"The King" Jerry Lawler gets sprayed at with silly string by Dink before the next match.

During the Survivor Series report, we hear from The Bad Guys (Razor Ramon, The 1-2-3 Kid, Fatu, Sione, The British Bulldog). Captain Lou Albano says that he will be managing the greatest five-man combination in the world today at Survivor Series. Razor tells "Double J" Jeff Jarrett that he has a good team, but they are better. The 1-2-3 Kid says he and Razor brought it home last year, and with the toughest guys in the World Wrestling Federation, they plan on doing it again this year. The British Bulldog says he and the entire team are here to survive. We then hear from Jim Cornette, who says that The Undertaker had a lot of horrible things happen to him and that nothing should worry him after that, but apparently, Yokozuna does, and that this is why Chuck Norris is the "special troubleshooting referee" for the Casket Match between The Undertaker and Yokozuna. He says Chuck Norris may be a bad dude, but so is Yokozuna. He tells Chuck Norris to do whatever he wants, but tells him to leave The Undertaker to face the music, as the curtain goes down for good on The Undertaker at Survivor Series and the casket is shut for good. We then hear from The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Paul Bearer says Yokozuna has heard the news, and that Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette must be scared to death. The Undertaker tells Cornette and Mr. Fuji that they have led Yokozuna to the gates of the dark side once more, and this time, not even Chuck Norris will be able to save them.
We see Irwin R. Schyster in a graveyard, who says that even when you're dead, you still cannot cheat on your taxes and you still owe I.R.S. your fair share. He then has a headstone repossessed after the person lying below it cheated on his taxes by writing off his daughter's birthday party as a business expenses, which only scratched the surface on "John Dough's" pre-death taxes.
Before the next match, Irwin R. Schyster says he repossessed a tombstone, but the fans can rest assured he is not through digging yet.
Irwin R. Schyster beats Aaron Ferguson.
We hear from The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn). Bart says Billy was doing well until Bam Bam Bigelow interfered. Next week, they will have Bigelow and Tatanka in a tag team match. Billy says Bigelow stuck his nose where it did not belong, and next week, they will invite Bigelow and Tatanka to their first Texas round-up.

Vince is shocked by Backlund's actions as of late, especially in his recent match against Bret "The Hit Man" Hart when he finally turned back on his own values. Backlund says he's still the WWF Champion, and says that his standards are higher than ever before, before he goes on the rails about today's society and how everyone has destroyed the world around him. He says he put the crossface chicken wing on Bret Hart because he had the opportunity to put it on everyone in society, which he considers himself not to be a part of anymore. He then goes on about how the crossface chicken wing is the greatest hold in wrestling. The crowd begins to call Backlund a "has been." Vince then says that it was Backlund himself who said that for every hold, there's a counter. Backlund says that if someone can break out of the crossface chicken wing, he will retire from wrestling, then takes off his jacket to prepare for a fight. Lou Giannfrido, who was seen earlier in the night and has written positively about Backlund for years, volunteers to be put in the hold...and Backlund goes nuts. The camera man currently in the ring has to run for cover, and both Vince McMahon and "Macho Man" Randy Savage have to help the officials break the hold. Backlund then looks at his hands again as everyone tends to Anfredo. Backlund then calls himself "Mr. Backlund," and says that what just happened is what discipline is all about.

Bulldog finally climbs in, but Owen climbs out, and so does Neidhart with Owens' help. Officials are able to break the chain with bolt cutters, but by this time, Owen and Neidhart have fled. The rest of the Hart family check on Bret.
Todd Pettengill tries to get an interview with "The King of Harts" Owen Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Owen says that the family has turned on him and that he should be the winner. He also tells The British Bulldog to stay out of this affair. Jim Neidhart threatens to demolish Bret "The Hit Man" Hart again if he gets in his way.
The day before Thanksgiving is the 1994 Survivor Series!
Before the next match, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase comes out with his Undertaker. Paul Bearer then shows up with two druids carrying the finished double-wide, double-deep casket from Royal Rumble. Inside is an urn, and Bearer iopens the contents to unleash a bright, white light. Thunder strikes in the arena, and we finally see the real Undertaker.
Paul Bearer's real Undertaker beats "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase's Undertaker after three consecutive Tombstone Piledrivers. After the match, DiBiase runs for the hills, while the "Underfaker" is placed inside Paul Bearer's casket. The urn then lights up again, and thunder strikes throughout the arena.
Leslie Nielsen and George Kennedy solve their mystery...or so they think. When they open the casket, nothing is inside. They do, however, find a case that is closed. They then declare the case closed despite never doing anything to even solve it.

Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for August 27, 1994
The show starts with Vince McMahon interviewing Bret "The Hit Man" Hart in the ring. Bret says he never thought it would come to this, and that he remembers growing up in the Hart Dungeon with the rest of his brothers. He never thought he would be getting in the ring with his brother "The King of Harts" Owen Hart in a steel cage match, and while he admits Owen has come a long way, this is not the Hart Dungeon, this is no longer fun and this will be an ugly fight with a lot at stake. Bret knows that Owen wants the WWF Championship, but he says there is a lot of emotion, not just with them, but with the entire Hart family, and that this has to be done and this has to be settled once and for all. Bret then tells Owen that the best thing about a fifteen-foot-high steel cage is that Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart cannot get involved and neither can his family, as this match cannot be stopped. Bret then says it will be revealed who will become the WWF Champion, the true "King of Harts" and the best there is, was and ever will be.
When Bret "The Hit Man" Hart leaves, he is confronted by "The King of Harts" Owen Hart and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Vince McMahon and numerous referees have to hold everyone back as Bret heads to the back.
Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart beats Frank Stalletto with the Camel Clutch. After the match, Jerry "The King" Lawler interviews "The King of Harts" Owen Hart and Neidhart, and Owen tells Bret "The Hit Man" Hart that he knows that he is terrified and that it will all come to an end between them at SummerSlam when he hurts, humiliates and beats Bret to become the WWF Champion. He says that Bret was right when he says this is no longer fun, and that there will be a new WWF Champion this Monday night.
Mabel beats Barry Horowitz.
On the SummerSlam Report, Tatanka says that everyone will learn that Lex Luger has sold out to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and that Luger's match last Sunday against Crush on Sunday Night Slam is proof of that. Lex Luger says Tatanka is jumping to conclusions, and that he did not ask DiBiase to get involved in his match; however, if there is an opening, he will take it as a competitor. He then says Tatanka has accused him of a lot of his things, and now he has gotten more than he has bargained for after questioning his strength and integrity.
"Double J" Jeff Jarrett beats Duke "The Dumpster" Droese after using the ropes for leverage...almost. After the match, Oscar shows up and mentions that Jarrett put his feet on the ropes. Another referee then shows up and tells the first referee that both of Jarrett's feet were on the second rope, and the match is restarted. Jarrett responds by knocking Oscar off the apron with a cheap shot before trying to leave, but Mabel shows up before Jarrett can get to the back. Jarrett runs away from Mabel through the stands, and Duke "The Dumpster" Droese runs to the ring to beat "Double J" Jeff Jarrett by count-out.
T. Harris is the special guest ring announcer for the next match.
Razor Ramon beats Mike Collins.
In footage from earlier this week, we see another edition of The Heartbreak Hotel. Shawn Michaels addresses Razor Ramon and Walter Payton, saying he will run circles around them "like a ferret on a double expresso." He then brings out his next guests: "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and his Undertaker. DiBiase says he has produced something and put his money where his mouth is compared to Paul Bearer, whom DiBiase says has produced "hot air and cheap tricks." Shawn thinks Paul Bearer has a little trouble resurrecting courage after what happened on The King's Court, but DiBiase changes the subject by saying that at SummerSlam, his Undertaker will destroy whatever Bearer brings before destroying Bearer himself. Shawn then says that Bearer does not have the guts to confront them face to face, then the lights go in and out before Paul Bearer appears on the video wall. Bearer tells DiBiase to listen to him, as this Monday, his Undertaker will destroy DiBiase's Undertaker, as he has not only contacted his Undertaker, he has summoned him. The real Undertaker's voice is then heard around the arena, telling DiBiase that he vows to never rest in peace before demanding he bring his Undertaker to SummerSlam, so he can rise once again and destroy DiBiase's Undertaker once and for all.

Owen considers his SummerSlam match with Bret "Hitman" Hart a dream come true after years of dealing with him. He paints Bret as a bully since childhood and tells Lawler that his entire family has come around and sided with him. Lawler says there's still one family member who's still behind Bret, and Lawler has him on the show right now: Bruce Hart, who shows up and tells Owen that nobody in the family is on his side and calls him out on relying on Nedihart to become King of the Ring. It's time for The King's Court. "The King" Jerry Lawler goes into the crowd, so WWF fan Mike Boyle pops the big question to his fiancee Andrea. Lawler brings Andrea into the ring after the break to have her answer "Yes" in front of the entire crowd. Lawler asks Andrea (in typical fashion) to get as much as she can out of him in her name, and to "let him have one of the puppies" if they have children. He then pretends to kiss her before letting her return to the ring, then announces tonight's guest: Bob Backlund, who appears in a suit and tie. Backlund says he tried to boon everyone's lives and benefit them during his ten years out of the WWF, and says he is disappointed about how weak everyone is. He says he never gave up or submitted on that day in 1984, and he is still the WWF Champion. Backlund also calls Bret "Hitman" Hart and the New Generation of the WWF a society he wants nothing to do with, as they are not disciplined enough, not hard-working enough, and are unwilling to pay the price, in his words.
The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat George Anderson and Tom Bennett at the very end of the show.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 18, 1994
Diesel retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Lex Luger in a double-disqualification. Luger accidentally whips Diesel into the referee, and Shawn Michaels takes advantage of the situation with a superkick to Lex Luger as he puts Diesel in the backbreaker rack. Luger kicks out of a pin, then Razor Ramon shows up and chases Shawn Michaels around the ring and into it, only for Luger to attack Michaels. The match is over as everything goes out of control. Razor knocks down Diesel, then confronts Shawn Michaels only to be attacked from behind by Diesel. Both Michaels and Diesel attack Razor, but Luger stops them from hitting Razor with a double-team piledriver. The match continues, and Bret Hart retains again with the Sharpshooter in a very well-received match.

Lawler replies by saying that with an attitude like that, he will not win the WWF Championship. The Kid says that he has too much respect for Hart to sock him in the nose like Lawler wants, and he has too much respect for himself to pull anything Lawler would.
