Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 18, 1994

Diesel retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Lex Luger in a double-disqualification. Luger accidentally whips Diesel into the referee, and Shawn Michaels takes advantage of the situation with a superkick to Lex Luger as he puts Diesel in the backbreaker rack. Luger kicks out of a pin, then Razor Ramon shows up and chases Shawn Michaels around the ring and into it, only for Luger to attack Michaels. The match is over as everything goes out of control. Razor knocks down Diesel, then confronts Shawn Michaels only to be attacked from behind by Diesel. Both Michaels and Diesel attack Razor, but Luger stops them from hitting Razor with a double-team piledriver. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase shows up, watches Luger and Razor from a distance, then heads back to the back. During the match, and before the first commercial break, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase was seen watching from above the audience, but nobody knows where he went after the break.

Mabel beats Austin Steele.

Actor Leslie Nielsen has been hired to get to the bottom of the tale of the two Undertakers at SummerSlam. Also, Bret "Hit Man" Hart defends the WWF Championship match against his brother "The King of Harts" Owen Hart in a Steel Cage Match.

"The King of Harts" Owen Hart beats Reno Riggins with the Sharpshooter.

Adam Bomb - now without Harvey Whippleman - takes on Yokozuna, and Tatanka takes on Nikolai Volkoff. Both matches are next week on Raw!

Thurman "Sparky" Plugg beats George South.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Gary Sabaugh. During the match, it is revealed that "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase has been spotted talking to Lex Luger backstage.

Jim Ross and "Macho Man" Randy Savage talk to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase after the break. DiBiase says that he has a big announcement this weekend on Superstars concerning Lex Luger. Suddenly, Tatanka shows up and confronts DiBiase, saying he knows that Luger has sold out to him, but DiBiase chalks his statements up to jealousy and says Tatanka couldn't beat Lex Luger on his best day. He also beats $10,000 that he can't beat Nikolai Volkoff. Tatanka takes that bet and plans to beat Volkoff next week.
