It is announced that Hollywood Hogan will seek nomination and declare candidacy for President of the United States in the year 2000. It is also announced that the President of the United States will be on the show later tonight.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Backstage at the loading docks of the arena, "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan sees two limousines shows up. nWo Hollywood is in one limo and nWo Wolfpac is in the other, and the entrance of both factions at the same time starts a brawl where WCW security and local law enforcement have to step in.
Juventud Guerrera beats Kaz Hayashi. During the match, Eric Bischoff butts in and gives the commentary team his word that the President of the United States will be here tonight, and to keep "Mean" Gene Okerlund backstage so that nobody misses him. Later on, Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up with Sonny Onoo, wanting to whup somebody. Miller gets on the apron, and Onoo kicks Kaz in the chest to reverse a pinfall cradle attempt, giving Juvi the win.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Alex Wright demands ring announcer David Penzer tell the fans to give Wright their complete silence in his match against Barry Horowitz.
Alex Wright vs. Barry Horowitz ends in a no contest. During the match, men in dark suits and sunglasses - implied to be Secret Service agents - are seen walking around in the crowd. Suddenly, the trademark Wolfpac hwol is heard, and nWo Wolfpac (Kevin Nash, Konnan, Lex Luger) show up and get in the ring. Alex Wright gets out of the ring, and Nash allows Horowitz to leave the ring. Nash says he usually doesn't quote cartoon characters, but the Wolfpac has "had all it can stands and it can't stands no more." He says that nWo Hollywood tried to reduce their numbers, as they have injured "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Sting and tried to take Luger out. He says that nWo Hollywood has to kill them to get rid of them, and challenges any combination of nWo Hollywood to a tag team match. Nash also calls out Scott Hall, saying he wants him tonight. Lex Luger says he has heard Bret "The Hit Man" Hart is in the building and also challenges him to a match later tonight. Konnan tells Sting, wherever he is, that they will make nWo Hollywood pay for what they've done. Eric Bischoff shows up and says the Wolfpac is "boring the hell out of [him]," and tells the Wolfpac they should be careful what they ask for as they will get it. If they want the black-and-white, he will make sure they get the black-and-white later tonight. He then tells the Wolfpac to stay in the ring as he has a few guys who want to tangle with them.
Scott Norton quickly beats Lodi.
Tony Schiavone interviews The Disciple, who says he stands on his own and not at the back of an nWo line saving Hollywood Hogan. He is standing his own ground and fighting his own battles. Suddenly, Vincent, Stevie Ray and Horace Hogan show up, and Horace tells The Disciple to shut up. A month ago, The Disciple said had no business in the ring, and to tell him to look at the colors he is wearing now. He says he is bigger, better, tougher and uglier than The Disciple, and he can destroy him any time he wants. Horace tells The Disciple he made a big mistake turning his back on Hollywood Hogan. The Disciple says this is his time, and tells Horace to leave the ring along with his stooges. Horace hits The Disciple with a cheap shot and with Hollywood Hogan's weightlifting belt before choking him out with the belt. The Disciple eventually fights back, but Vincent and Stevie Ray get involved and the numbers game eventually catches up with him. Suddenly, The Warrior shows up and makes quick work of all three men. (This is The Warrior's final appearance; he never appears in WCW again after this and retires by year's end.)
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are still in the loading bay backstage. Suddenly, a police escort shows up followed by a limousine with two American flags on the hood and a bevy of agents walking alongside the card. Okerlund and Heenan are told by a Secret Service agent as a Presidential motorcade enters the loading bay. The camera crew is pushed back by both Secret Service agents and local law enforcement. Suddenly, "Hail To The Chief" plays, and Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff show up. Hogan shows up surrounded by Secret Service agents and local law enforcement, saying he can run this country as a giant American flag is unfurled and red, white and blue balloons and confetti fall from the ceiling. Okerlund interviews Hogan, who congratulates Jesse "The Body" Ventura for winning the gubernatorial election in Minnesota, saying the state of Minnesota voted for a real man who can deal with real problems and set the state back on track. Bischoff says Minnesota has set the tone for the millennium by voting Ventura in. Hogan says that this weekend, his telephone was ringing off the hook with people asking Hogan to consider leading the United States. As call after call came his way, he got with his new campaign manager, he realized he needed to find one good American could run the country alongside him. He then announces he is here to announce his candidacy for President of the United States, and if he can get America behind him like Minnesota got behind Ventura, he can give America a brand-new start and take it to a new millennium, as he is here to serve and protect his country. As for what party he is running on, he and his campaign manager Eric Bischoff are in heavy negotiations as to how they want to take everything.
We see a video package of The Nitro Girls, followed by another performance by them.
We see a snippet of Konnan's music video.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up. He knows that Lex Luger is looking around for him, and tells Luger that he is lucky that he got away with his life, as all he has to do is look at the rest of the Wolfpac, starting with Sting. He tells Sting to get well soon, as there is plenty more where that came from. As far as Diamond Dallas Page goes, he is in the hospital "trembling and shivering and biting his nails down, and thanking almighty God that I didn't end his career once and for all." He tells DDP not to come back for another match with him, and tells him to FedEx the United States title back to him. He then says he is finished with Lex Luger and wants nothing to do with him as he dished it out to him last week, then says Konnan makes him sick just from looking at him and says he will put his ring gear on and kick the hell out of him tonight, as the only people not hiding from him in the back are The Nitro Girls. Tonight, the fans will find out what he is all about.
We see another portion of Konnan's music video.
Despite having his injured knee attacked, Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Eddie Guerrero. During the match, Chavo Guerrero Jr. shows up with Pepe, steals the Latino World Order shirt that Eddie tried to hand Rey, and distracts Rey. Rey pushes Eddie into Chavo and wins it with a schoolboy pin. Chavo is then attacked by the Latino World Order, and Rey manages to save Chavo and leave under his own power.
Konnan's new music video is replayed.
Eric Bischoff shows up with Miss Elizabeth. Bischoff says he is having more and more fun every time he comes out here, and that he has some business to take care of tonight. While it is true that he is Hollywood Hogan's campaign manager, he will not shun his responsibilities to both nWo and WCW. He announces that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will not wrestle tonight, as he cannot pass a physical. He then brings out some attorneys as well as a corporate controller concerning the fines on Buff Bagwell and Scott Steiner from last week, and Bischoff confronts the controller and attorneys for deducting the fines from the paychecks of Bagwell and Scott Steiner before attacking all three of them. Bischoff then says that the only thing he hates more than controllers are attorneys, and leaves along with Miss Elizabeth.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell show up. Referee Mickey Jay tells ring announcer David Penzer that from this point forward, WCW referees will have nothing to do with Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell, not even in their matches. Scott Steiner says that as the ladies are beaming down on him, dreaming of being with someone who looks like he does, he says he is the cream of the crop and the body that can rock their bodies all night long. In the morning, he will sit down, lay down, and put another two down and ask them who their daddy is. He tells the "freaks" out there that he is their hook-up, and to "holla if you hear me." Bagwell says that we have seen a different side of nWo Hollywood, and that is started two weeks ago with WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon. He says that Dillon is not tonight, and after Thursday, there is no Nick Patrick, unless you happen to be a good knee doctor. If they aren't allowed a referee, then they'll just buy their own referee with the money that they make as part of nWo Hollywood. Steiner then focuses on the $100,000 fined levied upon him, and says that Commissioner "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, whom he called out Thursday, is too scared to show up. He then says he is not such a bad guy and promises to play nice, and asks WCW to send their best guy into the ring, as he refuses to leave the ring without giving the people want they want. "Gentleman" Chris Adams is sent in to face Scott Steiner, but it ends up being a numbers game as Bagwell and Steiner attack Adams. Rick Steiner shows up as Adams is in the Steiner Recliner, and Bagwell and Scott Steiner retreat. Bagwell has to hold Scott back, and Rick tells Scott that if he wants to attack commissioners and referees, then he can come and get a piece of him and that they can settle it all tonight with the tag team titles on the line. Bagwell and Scott Steiner accept.
We see another video package of The Nitro Girls, followed by another Nitro Girls performance.
We see a video package of Lex Luger.
It is announced that a special 1-hour edition of Nitro airs tomorrow night at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central.
Rick Steiner's tag team partner is none other than Buff Bagwell's mother, Judy Bagwell, who is even wearing one-half of the WCW World Tag Team Championships. Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell retreat after getting knocked down, and Buff Bagwell says this is not happening. Scott Steiner says this is not happening due to Judy Bagwell being in the match as well as the lack of a referee, but Rick Steiner eggs them onn, saying there is nothing coming between them. Bagwell tells his mother to keep her nose out of their business, as she knows who pays the bills. Rick says he knows they would not fight tonight, and makes a tag team match for the tag titles official at World War 3. Judy tells Buff she's whipped his butt all his life, and at World War 3, she's going to whip his butt again, and this time, she gets paid. Bagwell accepts the challenge, and Rick says that if they bring the referee, he will bring the tag team titles.
Konnan beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart by disqualification after Bret tries to break Konnan's knee with a steel chair. Lex Luger chases Bret in and out of the ring, and checks on Konnan as Bret heads to the back. Referees and trainer Danny Young check on Konnan, and help Konnan to the back along with Luger.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Chris Jericho, who shows up with a member of Jericho Personal Security. Jericho says he was born in Long Island, New York 28 years ago, and then says he is glad he left because the place sucks. He reminds everyone that the score between himself and "Greenberg" is 4-0 in favor of him, and talks about how he breaks his streak and how "Goldberg" chants sound like "Boring" chants. He has called Goldberg out, but he is not in the building according to his security guard, Ralphus. Jericho says Goldberg is not man enough to beat him, face him or beat his streak. Suddenly, Goldberg is accompanied to a room with a television by local law enforcement and WCW security. As Jericho calls Goldberg a coward, Goldberg trashes the room, runs to the stage, meets Jericho at the aisle and Spears him.
Kevin Nash and Lex Luger beat Scott Hall and The Giant by disqualification after Bret "The Hit Man" Hart tries to injure one of Nash's legs. Lex Luger grabs a steel chair and clears the ring.

He also says that Mankind is in line for a makeover, saying "If you want to be somebody, you've got to look like somebody."
Before the next match, Val Venis catches Terri Runnels sneaking up behind him to the ring, and tells her to go to the back. He then tells the crowd that Deion Sanders may be scoring on prime time, but "The Big Valbowski" is scoring every time. Randall Godfrey and Larry Allen of the Dallas Cowboys are seen in the crowd.
Val Venis beats "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman by disqualification after Terri Runnels returns and hits him with a low blow. After the match, Owen Hart and someone dressed as The Blue Blazer show up and attack Blackman.
Mankind is seen getting a makeover, paid for by WWF owner Vince McMahon, backstage.
Mosh beats D'Lo Brown and "Road Dogg" Jesse James in a Triple Threat Match with a Stage Dive on D'Lo after D'Lo hits Road Dogg with the Lo Down. The match begins when referee Shane McMahon immediately rings the bell after D'Lo Brown immediately attacks Road Dogg, and Mosh doesn't enter the match until shortly afterwards. "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn fights off Mosh, D'Lo Brown and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry after the match.
Jeff Jarrett tells Al Snow says he's got something for him at Survivor Series and that Debra McMichael has got something for Head. Debra says that Goldust isn't fooling anyone, because she knows that he is "100% man under there" and that she will prove it tonight.
Mankind talks about Mr. Socko to the makeup artist doing his makeover.
Before the next match, Terri Runnels shows up in a gold dress and appears at ringside. Goldust tells her she's been a bad girl, and that they had a life together, but not anymore. He then tells her to forget the name of Goldust, that the credits have already rolled, and that she needs to get on a jet and out of her life. Terri tears her cigar in half, throws it at him and leaves.
Goldust beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after Debra McMichael seduces him and allows Jarrett to hit Goldust in the head with the guitar as soon as he turns around.
The Rock arrives at the arena.
Jesse Ventura, the newly-elected governor of Minnesota, has appeared on the front page of New York Daily News. WWF owner Vince McMahon has extended an open invitation for Ventura to appear on Raw next week. We also see a political cartoon humorously implying that Jerry "The King" Lawler might be tapped for another gubernatorial race in another state.
Michael Cole interviews The Rock. He says WWF owner Vince McMahon might hold all the cards, but nobody crosses or bosses him, and he will lay the smackdown on "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. Goldust and Jeff Jarrett are then seen brawling, and Debra McMichael is not far behind, as is The Blue Blazer, who attacks Goldust before referees try to restore order.
WAR ZONE
WWF owner Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter and The Big Boss Man are seen watching the next match from the stage.
Mankind retains the WWF Hardcore Championship against "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock in the title's inaugural defense after The Big Boss Man nails Shamrock with his nightstick, unbeknownst to Mankind.
Backstage, EMTs rush into the locker room, and Michael Cole reports that The Rock has been attacked.
This Sunday after Survivor Series, the Home Shopping Network will sell some never-before-seen WWF merchandise.
EMTs are tending to The Rock. Michael Cole reports that The Rock has been struck in the back of the head, though there are no eyewitness accounts of the attack.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up. For the last two weeks, ever since he was reinstated into the WWF with a new five-year contract when Shane McMahon overstepped the authority, he realizes it has been easy for him as of late, as he hasn't had to drive Zambonis or dump cement in Corvettes. He knows that he and WWF owner Vince McMahon still hate each others' guts, but Vince doesn't want to confront him as he is a coward. He says he thinks up plans with his stooges in the back, and if he has one for him, he will bet his ass it will backfire. The Big Boss Man shows up and says Vince has plans for Austin, and they include him. He says Vince has paid well for his services, not just beating him but putting him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He calls Austin "a dumb son-of-a-bitch" who does not know what hard times are all about, and up until now, he has had it easy. Times have changed, and law and order has come to the WWF. At Survivor Series, it will meet all expectations. Austin, quoting Cool Hand Luke, says "What we have here is a failure to communicate," and considers that a threat. Austin says he knows about his prison guards and his games, and tells him that he does not play that. He dare shim to come to the ring so he can shove that nightstick so far up his ass he will have to move it out of the way to brush his teeth. Big Boss Man says that Vince McMahon is his judge and jury, and at Survivor Series, they will play, but Austin will pay. Austin calls Big Boss Man a coward, says he doesn't care what Vince says, and that at Survivor Series, he'll beat Big Boss Man's ass for free.
Michael Cole reports that an ambulance has been called and that The Rock will be taken to the hospital.
Michael Cole interviews WWF owner Vince McMahon regarding The Rock. Vince does not even care if The Rock has been attacked backstage, and will not change the stipulation for The Rock's match that if he loses, he is fired from the WWF.
Before the next match, Tiger Ali Singh says he cannot believe that the WWF would want him to wrestle "a dangerous, schizophrenic, psychotic person" like Al Snow, and tonight, Snow will wrestle his servant Babu, not him. As Tiger Ali Singh tries to get Babu in the ring, AL Snow attacks Singh with Head, but Babu is sent into the ring as soon as Debra McMichael makes her way to the ring.
Tiger Ali Singh beats Al Snow after Snow is distracted by Debra McMichael, who is seen carrying Head in her hands and kissing Head.
We see some footage of Sable training for her match against Jacqueline for the WWF Women's Championship at Survivor Series.
WWF owner Vince McMahon, The Big Boss Man, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter mock The Rock for being attacked, and Vince says that The Rock will soon be unemployed.
Kane is seen carrying a can of gasoline in one hand and a blowtorch in the other before the next match.
Kane beats Edge by disqualification after The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) attack him. After the match, Kane makes quick work of all three men with a choke slam to each one. He then lays them all on top of one another, then takes the gasoline can and blowtorch into the ring. Referee Jimmy Korderas is choke slammed when he tries to stop, and is added to the pile of bodies in the center of the ring. Kane then grabs a lighter outside of the ring, then dumps the gasoline on all four men. Referees show up as Kane readies the blowtorch, and officials get all four men out of the ring. Kane then leaves through the crowd, and choke slams a fan on his way out.
WWF owner Vince McMahon comes out with Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter and The Big Boss Man. He is faced towards the entrance ramp as he asks for The Rock to come to the ring, while saying that The Rock should keep eyes in the back of his head s he never knows when someone will attack him. He demands that The Rock come out to the ring right now, and continues to mock The Rock's injury as he does. He says that The People's Champion can wrestle with "a headache," that members of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team are here, that The Rock went to jail the last time he was on Raw and that The Rock would be in good company in the arena tonight as half of the Cowboys roster are convicted felons and that they are on a losing streak just like him. Referee Shane McMahon shows up with a microphone in his hands, much to the chagrin of Vince McMahon, and tells him to cut the crap as he is taking his frustrations out on everyone, including the fans, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (to which Vince replies with "I hate Stone Cold!") and The Rock, and says it is all about family business. Vince says this is not family business, this is his business, and tells him to get the hell out regardless of whether or not he is his son. Shane tells Vince that if he wants to channel his anger, then channel it on him, because he always did. Vince tells Shane that when he punished him as a child, he had it coming, and he tells him to get out before he has another beating coming. Shane refuses to leave, and sics Boss Man on him. Suddenly, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin rushes to the ring and takes out The Big Boss Man before running off with his nightstick. (A fan can be seen climbing the barricade and quickly being gotten by security when the camera focuses on Vince.) Big Boss Man has to be held back as Austin tosses the nightstick back to Big Boss Man and leaves with Shane.
Much to the chagrin of WWF owner Vince McMahon, The Rock arrives for his match.
The Rock beats "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry to stay employed in the WWF. During the match, The Big Boss Man tries to handcuff The Rock to the corner only for The Rock to turn the tables and handcuff Boss Man. D'Lo Brown then knocks the referee out as Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson try to free The Big Boss Man, and Shane McMahon has to run into the ring to make the three-count for The Rock and save The Rock's job. After the match, The Rock grabs WWF owner Vince McMahon and rolls him into the ring, and Patterson and Brisco get taken out when they try to protect Vince. The Big Boss Man cannot do anything, and when Vince slaps The Rock, The Rock hits him with a Rock Bottom followed by The People's Elbow.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for November 8, 1998
Before the next match, Scott "Too Hot" Taylor says he loves "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher before they both hug. When Al Snow shows up, he says the time for fun and games is over and that this business operates on two principles: the carrot and the stick. He says some people are tired of getting the stick, and that is why there is a secret organization in WWF fighting to get a push. Snow then introduces a few members: "Bombastic" Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio, who, like Snow, are wearing "J.O.B. Squad Black and Blue Crew" shirts. It is then noticed that the white headband around Head is really Mr. Socko.
The J.O.B. Squad (Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio) beats Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor). During the match, Bob Holly has Scott "Too Hot" Taylor in an inside cradle, and after the referee counts to two, he looks up at "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher, who is on the top rope, then looks back down and makes the three-count.
Kevin Kelly interviews Val Venis in the locker room. Venis admits he was insensitive to Terri Runnels' pregnancy, and says Runnels is conniving, manipulative and a liar. He says that one must take certain precautions in his line of work, and years ago, he had a vasectomy. He says that if there were "any seeds in this watermelon," there would be a whole lot of "little Valbowskis" running all over the place, and there is only one Big Valbowski.
Paul Bearer and The Undertaker shows up before X-Pac can defend the WWF European Championship against "A Real Man's Man" Steven Regal. Bearer suggests that X-Pac stand in the corner, as The Undertaker has something to say. X-Pac takes the microphone from Bearer, and while he has respect for the The Undertaker, he has a match with Regal and tells The Undertaker to find some TV time other than his own. After X-Pac threatens to "whip [Paul Bearer's] fat ass" if he threatens him again, The Undertaker attacks X-Pac from behind before choke slamming him.
Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter are seen waiting for WWF owner Vince McMahon when Vince's limousine shows up. Vince comes out of the limousine along with The Big Boss Man and sits in the wheelchair set up for him, and tells them that discipline is the cornerstone of corporate communication and that he hopes they all learned a lesson last week.
Before the next match, The Godfather tells Shane McMahon - who is debuting as a referee for this match - that he will be the boss one day and that he will hook him up later on. The Godfather then tells "Marvelous" Marc Mero that he is leaving his hos away from him due to his bad luck with women as of late, and instead, he's just going to kick his ass.
The Godfather beats "Marvelous" Marc Mero. During the match, Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter are seen watching from Vince's dressing room, and Vince says that if Shane McMahon does not do a good job as a referee, he will be demoted further down to ring crew. Vince is also heard bragging about winning in court during the "steroid trial" a few years ago. After the match, Jacqueline slaps The Godfather in the face, but she and Mero are forced to get out of the ring when The Godfather seems to like it.
We see footage of Sable training in the gym.
Kevin Kelly interviews X-Pac backstage. X-Pac says that if The Undertaker wants to draw first blood, tehn they will fight tomorrow night, as he does not back down and neither does anyone else in D-Deneration X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn).
The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. After the usual pre-match promo, WWF owner Vince McMahon shows up with Pat Patterson, The Big Boss Man, Gerald Brisco and WWF. WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter. Vince tells them that one week from now, they will be in a Triple Threat Match with the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line against The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) and the team of D'Lo Brown and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry at Survivor Series.
Owen Hart guests on commentary for the next match.
Darren "Puke" Drozdov beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after Road Warrior Hawk runs into the ring and attacks Droz. Road Warrior Animal then gets in the ring and fights with Hawk before Animal and Droz hit Hawk with the Doomsday Device.
The Rock shows up. He says he is here tonight to take back what he was screwed out of: his spot in the Survvivor Series Deadly Games Tournament and to regain his position as #1 contender to the WWF Championship, and demands that WWF owner Vince McMahon give them back to him. Vince shows up with Pat Patterson, Gerald Briscoe, Pat Patterson and The Big Boss Man and says The Rock has it all wrong. He says it is business, not personal, and that he personally has a problem with the people. He says that if he has a problem with the people, then he has a problem with THe Rock because he is the People's Champion. He does not personally care for The Rock, and calls him another piece of meat on the WWF roster. He also says he does not care about the people and that the feeling is mutual. Vince says he wishes that he could reach every single one of the people, but he can reach him, and if he does, he can reach the people, which makes him feel really good. He then announces that this week on Raw, The Rock will face "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, and if he does not win the match by pinfall or submission, he will be fired from the World Wrestling Fedreation. If he wins, he will be at Survivor Series. Vince then tells The Rock that as The People's Champion, he carries the weight of all the people on his back, and ells him he is "The People's Ass" for doing that. The Rock says he would much rather be "The People's Ass" than to ever kiss Vince's.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 2, 1998
World War 3 is live Sunday, November 22 on pay-per-view!
Alex Wright beats Norman Smiley.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Disco Inferno beats Kaz Hayashi after Hayashi chases Sonny Onoo - who shows up near the end of the match - around the ring.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Booker T, who has not been seen since August 24th. Booker T says he has nothing but love for Stevie Ray, and tells him to do his own thing while he does his own, and goes on to say they will take care of family business when needed. But when he was laying on the cement that August night, one person came up on him and whacked him on the knee, and if that person has the guts, they will meet him in the middle of the ring, and if they don't meet in the middle of the ring, they can go at it in the back. That man is identified as Scott Hall, and he tells Hall he will "kick [him] where the good Lord split [him]."
Ricky Medlock of Lynyrd Skynyrd is seen in the front row.
Fit Finley beats Scott Putski.
We see Raven in the back. Raven quotes Kris Kristofferson: "Freedom is another word for 'nothing left to lose.'" All of a sudden, Kanyon shows up and ruins what he calls Raven's "self-pity party."
We see a video package of the recent goings on between Chris Jericho and Goldberg.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller says he wants to whup somebody tonight, and knows nobody in the crowd wants a piece of him. He then demands an opponent, saying he can beat them up. He gets a taker in the form of Steve Armstrong, and Miller tells him his hands and feet are registered weapons and that he is a three-time karate champion. He gives him the usual five seconds to leave the ring, but it only takes two for Armstrong to attack Miller from behind.
Ernest "The Cat" Miller quickly beats Scott Armstrong with a spinning roundhouse kick from the top rope. Miller hokes Armstrong out after the match, then Steve Armstrong shows up and attacks Miller. Sonny Ono distracts Steve, and Miller lays Steve out with a kick before getting a three-count. After that, Miller demands "Bullet" Bob Armstrong come out so he can fight him.
Wrath beats Kendall Windham.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. He has a match with Lex Luger later tonight. Hart says hurting people is fun and nice, but it takes its toll. Unfortunately for him, he has a nasty groin pull and the doctors are not letting him wrestle tonight. Okerlund says he saw him in the back moving just fine, but Hart insists he has a groin pull and accuses Okerlund of baiting him into a siutation where he will get hurt some more. He says people hide under chairs when they see him, and that he taught Diamond Dallas Page the hard way that he can be wiped out after he took the United States title from him. He also says Sting suffered the consequences for bringing a bat to the ring. He plans to teach everyone a lesson and make them all suffer, and then says Lex Luger is out of a match because he is hurt. Lex Luger shows up, and confronts Bret for saying how good he is only to back out due to being hurt. Bret accuses Luger of provoking him into a match where he will get hurt some more, but Luger says Bret isn't hurt at all and that he is pathetic. Bret says he should consider this as a blessing as this means he won't beat him. Lex calls him a gutless coward, then rebounds off the rope and hits Bret with a clothesline - nearly tagging Okerlund with it in the process - before putting Bret in the Torture Rack.
We see more clips of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair wrestling, this time against Hollywood (then Hulk) Hogan at Halloween Havoc 1994 under the duress of Eric Bischoff. All of a sudden, The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) show up. Anderson tells "Mean" Gene Okerlund that they will get down to the truth tonight. He knows that nWo Hollywood vs. the Horsemen has to go down, but instead of letting it happen, Bischoff plays kids' games. Anderson says pro wrestling is a man's game, and that Eric Bischoff does not even know how to be a man. With the selected clips from the Hogan/Flair matches, and says he has enough of Bischoff putting forth falsehoods and that Hogan was a man back then and not a figure hiding behind Bischoff's political power and purse strings as a shell of his former self. He is not crying for Flair, because Flair is a 13-time World champion while Bischoff has never been top contender for anything. He tells Bischoff to let the men do the fighting, and to take the pocket knife and find out what it's like to be in a man's sport, as Bischoff is afraid of dealing with a symbol of excellence in the Horsemen. Flair tells Bischoff he can play a thousand tapes of him getting beat, but he can't walk the aisle and get an ounce of respect because he has never been there, paid the price, walked the aisle and most of all, he is an overbearing punk. He is tired of paying fines for saying what he thinks. He has the Horsemen, and if Bischoff doesn't like it, he can "line them up," as the Horsemen are the best thing going today. Tonight, they are going to South Beach to rock and roll. Malenko asks the Horsemen to get the party started, as he will join up later after showing Raven why he is a Horsemen. Benoit says the Horsemen are continuing to set the standard. Mongo says Bischoff was going to mess around and make that last brain cell pop, and he's going to show him and the locker room how to giddy-up and go.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
We see a video package of the Nitro Girls, followed by a Nitro Girls performance.
J.R. Nicklaus of Worthington, Ohio is the winner of this week's Nitro Party Pack winner. We see some footage from his Nitro Party.
We see a video package of Goldberg.
Scott Norton beats Van Hammer.
Trainer Danny Young is seen taping up the lower abdomen of Bret "The Hit Man" Hart.
Saturn calls out Eddie Guerrero, telling him that if he is man enough to face him 6-on-1, he is man enough to face him one-on-one. Eddie Guerrero shows up, and tells Saturn if he wants a piece of him, he'll show him what being Latino is all about.
Saturn beats Eddie Guerrero by disqualification after he is attacked by The Latino World Order. Suddenly, Konnan shows up and tells Saturn that what Eddie is doing to the LWO is what Raven did with Raven's Flock, and tells Saturn that Eddie is using them. Saturn leaves, then Konnan then tells Eddie that he is not raza. Eddie says Konnan is the last person who should be saying "viva la raza" as he does not consider him raza due to being part of nWo Wolfpac, and that he knows their tactics and that they are ready to beat them up with baseball bats, but there will be another day, on his terms and his turf, and to watch his back. Konnan tells Eddie to watch his back as well. Konnan then meets baseball player Alex Rodriguez on his way to the back.
Before the next match can even begin, WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon shows up, and Scott Steiner tells him he and WCW both suck before heading to the back.
Psychosis beats Rey Mysterio Jr. after a distraction by the Latino World Order.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Chris Jericho. Now that everyone knows the deepest, darkest secret, he lets loose another one: he has nothing but the highest respect and regard for Goldberg, one of the best champions of all time and almost as good as himself. He says the Jerichoholics know what they saw, and that the game films do not lie. He tells Goldberg he respects him and he wishes him nothing but the best in all of his future endeavors.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Dean Malenko beats Raven by disqualification after Kanyon interferes. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit tries to stop Kanyon, but he is attacked from behind by Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and put in a hammerlock outside of the ring. During the match, Lodi shows up carrying signs, but Steve "Mongo" McMichael shows up and hits him in the behind with a leather belt. After the match, Lex Luger shows up and feigns injury, and The Giant comes out and helps Bret out of the ring before Luger can attack him. The Giant then offers to replace Bret in their match.
Kidman and Chris Jericho wrestle to a time limit draw. Chris Jericho retains the WCW World Television Championship. Before the match, it is announced that The Giant will officially replace Bret "The Hit Man" Hart tonight in Bret's match against Lex Luger.
WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon is joined by Kenny Kaos at the commentary table. Due to Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell's actions from last week, Bagwell has been fined $50,000 and Steiner has been fined $100,000. Upon hearing this, Scott Steiner charges at Dillon, and Bagwell has to hold him back. Bagwell and Steiner then enter the ring, and Scott Steiner says that WCW sucks and that there is nobody in WCW that can control the rage inside of him. Dillon can fine him all he wants or send anyone at him (including "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, whom he calls "a skirt-wearing queer"), because he doesn't care. Bagwell takes the microphone from Scott Steiner before he can tell WCW to kiss his ass, and asks Kenny Kaos to head to the ring, as he has nothing to do with this and that he was just caught in the middle. Kenny Kaos shows up as Scott Steiner says there are people in WCW who only get airtime because they kiss butt, and that he does not kiss butt and never will, for he is the man and he is legit. Bagwell tells Kaos that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Scott then attacks Kaos from behind as Bagwell says they like how stupid he is and that he is no world tag team champion before Scott Steiner puts Kenny Kaos in the Steiner Recliner. Scott says WCW sucks and that they are the nWo, and that they do what they want to do when they want to do it.
Before the next match, Scott Hall says that the last time he saw Kevin Nash, he was really in a hole in the wall. He also brags about injuring Booker T and saying that he is only mad now, and tells Booker T "Don't sing it, bring it."
Booker T beats Scott Hall by disqualification after Scott Hall uses referee Billy Silverman as a human shield to block a top rope missile drop kick from Booker.
Lex Luger beats The Giant by disqualification after Bret "The Hit Man" Hart attacks Luger and works on his knee with a section of guardrail before putting him in the Sharpshooter. Suddenly, Goldberg gets in the ring, hits The Giant with a Spear, then accidentally Spears Luger when Bret dodges out of the way.
Alex Wright beats Norman Smiley.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for November 2, 1998
RAW
Shane McMahon starts tonight's show. It is noticed that there is a steel cage high above the ring, and it is announced that WWF owner Vince McMahon is not in the building. In the absence of his father Vince and as acting WWF chairman, he announces that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will get his shot at the WWF Championship the night after Survivor Series on Raw against whoever is champion. He then brings out "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. As Austin shows up, Vince McMahon makes it to the arena, and Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, The Big Boss Man and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter help Vince to the stage and stick it to everyone who though he would not make it to the arena tonight. Vince says any talk that he is retiring is wishful thinking, and after everyone makes it clear that they would like it if he stepped down, quit or died, Vince says he will only step down from his position in the World Wrestling Federation on the day he dies, and when he dies, he doesn't want anybody at his funeral as he wants to go straight to Hell, since he's been there as of late, anyway. Vince says he has been in a living hell thanks to his son Shane as well as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. He relieves Shane of his corporate responsibilities, and he is no longer an officer of the World Wrestling Federation. If Shane wants gainful employment again, he will have to do it as a referee. If he cannot do that correctly, he will bust him down to the ring crew where he began. He says Shane scarred him emotionally last week, and hurt him the most when he said he was a lot like him after all. Vince then tells Shane he is nothing like him, but that he is a lot like his mother. As for Austin, he cannot do a thing about his new contract, but he can tell him that he will get his title shot at Survivor Series, not the night afterwards, and if he makes it to the match, he will have wrestled four times that night. Vince then reveals that Austin will be facing The Big Boss Man in his first match in the Deadly Games Tournament. Before he leaves, Vince says he's been hearing the "asshole" chant a lot, and tells the fans they're all assholes.
During the commercial break, WWF owner Vince McMahon chews out Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler, telling them to "get your stuff straight" and tells them that someone will be paying hard time in the steel cage above the ring tonight.
D-Generation X (X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) vs. The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) ends when Kane shows up and attacks everyone else in the match with a choke slam while Gangrel and Road Dogg fight in the crowd. Before the match, it is announced that X-Pac will be in the Deadly Games Tournament and that the tournament brackets will be released later tonight.
During the break, Michael Cole interviews WWF owner Vince McMahon, who confronts him over asking him how he felt when his son emotionally wrecked him last night. The Big Boss Man grabs Cole by his throat, asks Cole how he feels, and tells him that was how he felt last week.
When Road Warrior Hawk comes to the ring before the next match, he is unable to walk in a straight line down the ramp and is assumed to be drunk. When Darren Drozdov (at this point, known as just "Droz") attacks Hawk before the bell can ring, it is apparent that cannot fight back, and their match ends in a no contest when Road Warrior Animal shows up with several referees. Animal tells Droz to head to the back, then chews Hawk out, saying 14 years just went down the tube.
We see some footage from moments ago where The Big Boss Man and WWF owner Vince McMahon chew Jim Cornette out, telling him to shut up about 1980s wrestling and to return to his commentary.
Michael Cole interviews Mankind and Al Snow. Snow says they get along just fine, but it is just that Mankind talks to a sock. Mankind says that he and Snow will take down The Oddities (Luna Vachon, Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva) tonight.
Dusty Hill of ZZ Top is seen in the crowd before the next match.
The Oddities (Kurrgan and Golga) beat Al Snow and Mankind. During the match, it is announced that WWF owner Vince McMahon has just had an altercation with ring announcer Howard Finkel. Near the end of the match, Mankind cannot find Socko and heads to the back to find him, much to the annoyance of Al Snow, who gets Sidewalk Slammed by Kurgan and nearly leg dropped by Golga. Despite Snow's best efforts, he is defeated.
We see footage from moments ago of WWF owner Vince McMahon confronting basketball star Shaquille O'Neal for not having a backstage pass.
Backstage, Mankind looks for Mr. Socko.
Before the next match, Steven Regal - who is in the Deadly Games Tournament at Survivor Series - says he is in the WWF to see if there are any "real men's men" like himself in the back. He does not think there is, and asks that if anyone thinks they are, to come out from the back and face him in the ring. He gets Goldust, who is announced to also be in the Deadly Games Tournament. It is then announced that the brackets for the Deadly Games Tournament will be revealed after the next match.
Steven Regal vs. Goldust ends when Kane shows up and choke slams both men. During the match, Terri Runnels shows up in a dress similar to when she went by the name Marlena, as well as the high heels and cigar to match. Terri Runnels gets in the ring to try to help Goldust, and referees and officials have to convince Kane to put her down. Unfortunately, Tony Garea gets choke slammed, and everyone else scatters.
We see the tournament brackets for the Deadly Games Tournament at Survivor Series. The Undertaker and Kane both get a bye in the first round, and face each other in the semi-finals. The other first round matches are as follows: The Rock vs. "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Goldust vs. "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock, Mankind vs. a mystery opponent, Jeff Jarrett vs. Al Snow, X-Pac vs. Steven Regal, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Big Boss Man.
Mankind is seen talking with WWF owner Vince McMahon while The Big Boss Man watches. Vince asks Mankind not to interfere in the next match between "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock and The Rock. Mankind promises. In return, he is given a new championship that has never been seen before: the WWF Hardcore Championship, which is a broken WWF Championship belt with some paint on it. Vince says he lost a son tonight, but says he may have gained another one. Mankind replies by saying "Gee, thanks...Dad."
WAR ZONE
Before the next match, we see footage from moments ago where WWF owner Vince McMahon is seen with "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. Vince tells the cameraman to get out. After The Rock shows up, Vince McMahon shows up with The Big Boss Man, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter, and says that since he has a problem with the people, he has a problem with the People's Champion. If The Rock does not win the WWF Intercontinental Championship, he will not be going to the Deadly Games Tournament at Survivor Series, much less be the #1 contender for the WWF Championship.
The Rock beats "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock by disqualification. During the match, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock sends The Rock into referee Tim White, knocking White down. Shamrock grabs a steel chair from outside of the ring, but when he swings it at The Rock, it bounces off the top rope and hits him in the face. The Rock is able to hit The People's Elbow, but the referee is down. Shamrock tries to revive the referee, but Shamrock hits The Rock in the back with the steel chair, and the referee sees this happen. Shamrock retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Since The Rock did not win the Intercontinental Championship, he is out of Survivor Series. Vince calls The Rock "The People's Chump" before he and his stooges walk away.
The Rock is seen trashing the locker room, asking where WWF owner Vince McMahon is at.
Before the next match, Val Venis says that "The Big Valbowski" is a lot like Hakeem Olajuwon. Whether he's shooting on the hoop from the outside, or making that drive to the hole in the inside, "The Big Valbowski" scores every single time.
Val Venis beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after Venis is crotched on the top rope by The Blue Blazer. Jarrett nods approvingly at The Blue Blazer before the Blazer leaves.
A police car is seen backstage at the arena. Two police officers show up.
StoneCold.com is advertised.
WWF owner Vince McMahon is seen talking to three police officers. He says The Rock has threatened his life and has torn up furniture, and asks them to arrest The Rock.
Before the next match, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) show up dressed like The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn), complete with imitation tag team titles. They then soundly mock the Outlaws.
The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) vs. The Nation (D'Lo Brown and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry when Kane shows up yet again and decimates everyone in the match. During the match, it is announced that StoneCold.com will be launched tomorrow night with a live netcast at 7 PM Eastern, 4 PM Pacific. It is also announced that Chyna is taking a leave of absence from the WWF until her legal issues with Mark Henry have been taken care of.
Police are seen backstage arresting The Rock and placing him in the back of a squad car while WWF owner Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter and The Big Boss Man watch.
Owen Hart shows up. He says he is here tonight on the request of Dan "The Beast" Severn. Even though he apologized to Severn a long time ago, he cannot apologize enough. He says was an accident, that he never did it, and he did the honorable thing and retired. He is no longer on the WWF roster, and he came here from his home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to hear what Severn has to say. Severn shows up, wearing a neck brace, and tells Owen he is not here for an apology as it would not mean anything. Severn says Owen says he is sorry for hurting him and that he has retired, but he is not kidding anybody by running around dressed as The Blue Blazer. He came here to look into the eyes of the man who stole his livelihood, and came here to tell him that he is nothing but scum. Owen pushes Severn to the mat, then clotheslines him. "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman rushes into the ring and chases Owen out.
Dan "The Beast" Severn is rushed into an ambulance on a stretcher. He then turns around and hits Owen Hart with a jumping front kick. Suddenly, The Blue Blazer shows up and attacks Blackman while Owen kicks Blackman in the groin. Referees and officials have to restore order, and Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler are shocked that Owen Hart and The Blue Blazer have been seen in the same place at the same time. (Strangely, the person dressed as the Blue Blazer has darker skin than Owen Hart.)
The steel cage is finally lowered towards the ring.
WWF owner Vince McMahon is wheeled out by Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter and The Big Boss Man. If he had his way, he would take tonight's crowd and put them in the cage and every single one of them would pay hard time. Vince and company slowly make their way to the ring, and asks that he be left next to the announcers. After that, Vince commands The Big Boss Man to take his cohorts and make sure the steel cage is secure inside and out, and that the cage door locks. Vince says that a lot of individuals in the WWF deserve to pay hard time, and all he asked for was a cup of coffee. The Big Boss Man then attacks Brisco, Patterson and Slaughter at Vince McMahon's command, and tells his stooges that this is what happens when anyone crosses him. He tells them that they will stand by him and that they will not run, not from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and not from anybody. Pat Patterson cries to Vince to stop the attack, and Vince says he will stop when Patterson, Brisco and Slaughter pledge allegiance to Vince. Vince then commands The Big Boss Man to rip their clothes off, but "Stone Cold" Steve Austin shows up and climbs up the cage and gets inside just to get a piece of The Big Boss Man. Pat Patterson then hits Austin in the leg with a nightstick, but Austin immediately focuses on Patterson. The Big Boss Man attacks Austin from behind, then assaults him with the nightstick. Suddenly, Shane McMahon gets in the cage and tries to call a halt to the carnage. Vince then commands The Big Boss Man to spare Shane, but Shane responds by flipping his father Vince off. The Undertaker's music then hits, and The Undertaker appears with Paul Bearer, and gets in the cage to fight Austin. Austin and The Undertaker brawl, then Kane shows up and sets the steel cage on fire before attacking Austin and The Undertaker to end the show.
After the show goes off the air, the three-way brawl between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Kane and The Undertaker continues. Austin hits Kane with a Stone Cold Stunner before getting out of the cage and attacking The Big Boss Man with a nightstick. Austin then focuses on WWF owner Vince McMahon, and The Undertaker and Kane then head to the back before Austin topples Vince's wheelchair backwards, picking Vince up, kicking him a few times in the injured leg, sending him into the ring and offering to shake his hand. Vince shakes his hand, then Austin flips him off and hits him with a Stone Cold Stunner. As Austin celebrates, The Big Boss Man then tries to get Vince out of the ring, but Austin drags him back in and hits him with another Stone Cold Stunner. Austin then whacks Boss Man in the head with the steel cage door and celebrates at ringside again. The Big Boss Man then checks on Vince alongside a referee as Austin heads to the back and tosses his shirt to a fan. The Big Boss Man and the referee then slowly help Vince to his feet, but Austin comes back, steals Vince's wheelchair and wheels it over to the stage. Vince somehow manages to climb up to the top of the cage and demand his wheelchair be returned, but Austin breaks it by tumbling it around before tossing it off the stage. Vince then has to limp back to the back, assisted by The Big Boss Man.

Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for November 1, 1998
It is announced that tomorrow night on Raw, WWF owner Vince McMahon will make an announcement concerning his future in the WWF, which will have a profound impact on the wrestling industry. As a result, tonight's episode is dedicated to Vince McMahon. Short clips of Vince McMahon are played during breaks throughout the show.
The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) beat L.O.D. 2000 (Road Warrior Animal and Darren "Puke" Drozdov) soon after Road Warrior Hawk and Drozdov argue outside of the ring, which causes Animal to go it alone without any success. After the match, Animal argues with both Droz and Hawk, then walks out. Droz follows him shortly afterward. Hawk grabs the microphone and gives Droz 24 hours to rest before he kicks "the stinkin' puke" out of Drozdov tomorrow night on Raw.
Backstage, Shane McMahon congratulates The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) on a well-earned victory.
We see a vignette of Steven Regal - a real man's man - building the foundation for a house. After this, Steven Regal finally shows up in a WWF ring, and says he will give the opportunity to any WWF Superstar who thinks he is a real man's man the chance to knock the hard hat off his head. If they can, they are a good man. That challenge is answered by Bradshaw.
Steven Regal beats Bradshaw. Afterwards, The Jackal shows up and meets with Bradshaw, and talks with him on the way to the back.
Shane McMahon is seen with X-Pac and The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) backstage.
The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) beat The Oddities (Golga, Kurrgan, Giant Silva). During the match, Kane is supposedly seen in the rafters by Michael Cole. During the match, Edge tries to run off with Golga's Cartman doll, causing the rest of the Oddities to go after Edge and allowing Gangrel and Christian to hit a double team attack on Golga as the referee is distracted.
Shane McMahon is seen with some backstage workers.
Kevin Kelly interviews "The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman in the locker room. Blackman tells Owen Hart that he isn't falling for his Blue Blazer get-up, as he can recognize the stench he leaves in the ring. He tells D'Lo Brown to lace up his chest protector tightly, as he will find out what it is like to be hit by a lethal weapon when he puts his foot right through it.
Dan "The Beast" Severn, still in a neck brace, is seen live via satellite from his home in Coldwater, Michigan.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry is seen carrying a sign saying "I Miss You Chyna" at ringside before the next match.
"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman beats D'Lo Brown. During the match, The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) show up and distract "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, pushing him and arguing with him. As the referee is distracted, Thrasher pushes D'Lo Brown off the top rope, allowing Blackman to stack D'Lo up to get the win. After the match, D'Lo and Mark Henry brawl with The Headbangers at ringside, and referees and officials have to run out to pull them apart.
Michael Cole and Jim Cornette try to interview Dan "The Beast" Severn live via satellite from his home in Coldwater, Michigan, but Severn cannot hear them.
Before the next match, Val Venis tells Debra and the people of Texas to never fear, for even if Randy Johnson goes elsewhere as a free agent, they have his personal guarantee that "The Big Valbowski" will bring back "The Big Unit" to the Lone Star State.
Jeff Jarrett beats Val Venis. During the match, it is announced that X-Pac and Goldust have been added to the Deadly Games Tournament for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. Shortly after this, Terri Runnels shows up and argues with Debra at ringside. Later on, Debra checks on Val Venis, which starts another argument between her and Terri. This distracts Val Venis, and Jeff Jarrett hits the trademark reverse leg sweep for the win. After the match, Terri apologizes to Venis, then tells everyone that they are pregnant and that she and Venis are having a baby. Venis takes the microphone and tells her she is pregnant, not the both of them, and that this is her problem, not theirs. She then tells Terri "I'm outta here!" Terri is distraught.
Michael Cole and Jim Cornette try to interview Dan "The Beast" Severn live via satellite from his home in Coldwater, Michigan again, this time successfully. Severn says he has been better, and that he suffered spinal shock, spinal compression and temporary paralysis. He still has a tingling sensation in both of his hands and his legs, but through therapy, he hopes to get better. As for returning to the WWF, he cannot think about that right now, as he has too many things to think about and that one of them is Owen Hart. He plans on being at Raw tomorrow night, and he invites Owen to be there, man-to-man, as he has a few things to get off his chest before he can go on with his life and he hopes that Owen respects that and shows up.
Shane McMahon is interviewed in the ring by Kevin Kelly. He cannot reveal the announcement that his father, WWF owner Vince McMahon, will make tomorrow night as he has no idea what he is going to say or do next. He does know that what happened last Monday night changed the World Wrestling Federation and the McMahon family forever. He says that something - or someone - has got to give, and he knows Vince is watching and that it pained him to see what he said to him as well as Vince's reaction to what he said. He says that the fans were right about "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and that Vince was wrong, and while he respects Vince's accomplishments, he has a different vision as the WWF is bigger than one's one ego. He says there will be no stooges, no swerving, no lying and no screwing. He has no idea what Vince will say tomorrow night, but whatever it is, he is sorry and it will regrettably be too little, too late.
It is announced before the next match that Triple H has been added to the Deadly Games Tournament for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. Also, The Undertaker is seen side-by-side with Paul Bearer for the first time in two years. The Godfather then gives The Undertaker - whom he has known for a long time and knows he likes hos - the choice to fight and get his ass kicked or a pick of any of the three hos with him. It does not take long for The Undertaker to pick the fight. The Undertaker vs. The Godfather before it can begin after The Undertaker punches out the referee. Other referees run into the ring only to get laid out, then Kane shows up. This time, Kane is seen in the rafters as the show ends.
November To Remember 1998 - The Results
We see from earlier tonight where Jack Victory says that New Jack deserved everything he got. Suddenly, New Jack attacks Jack Victory from behind, and continues attacking him until ECW security pins him to a nearby car and handcuffs him.
Joey Styles introduces the crowd to tonight's show. Suddenly, Terry Funk shows up from the crowd wearing a graduation cap on his head, which he tosses into the audience. Funk then asks Styles if he realizes he is the living legend and the professor of Funk University, and that he can say what he wants to you as he is very knowledgeable in anti-social behavior. He then commands Styles to give him the microphone, and asks Styles if he realizes he was not invited to be here with the fans. He then says "Funk you" to the fans, Paul E. Dangerously and "The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, the last of whom he calls "a pile of shit." Six years ago, Dreamer crawled to him on his knees and told him his father is a crackhead and his mother is a whore, and needed a mentor. He looked down at Dreamer and agreed, and Dreamer promised that he would call him in a time of need. He has been waiting three weeks for "this puke-faced son of a bitch" to call him so he could do a double flip off the top rope for the fans. Dreamer shows up, and Funk notices him. Dreamer tells him he gave him what he wanted, but Funk calls him "a big ass with a big ego," and says he should slap him like he would anyone in his family. He then tosses the microphone away and leaves.
The Blue World Order (The Blue Meanie and Super Nova) beat "Dastardly" Danny Doring and Roadkill. Terry Funk shows up shortly after the match again, this time with his own cameraman, and tells timekeeper Steven D'Angelis to ring the bell, before shoving him away from the bell and sitting in front of it while speaking to the cameraman. Suddenly, Terry Funk gets on the apron and slaps The Blue Meanie, only for The Blue Meanie to knock him off the apron. Funk then puts himself through the timekeeper's table. After the match, Terry Funk shows up with a piece of the destroyed table and uses it to take out The Meanie and Nova. After ramming Nova head-first into the ring apron, Paul E. Dangerous shows up with security, and Terry Funk tries to fight them off.
Before the next match, Tommy Rich says it is a pleasure for The Full Blooded Italians (Rich, Little Guido, Ulf Herman) to be in New Orleans, Louisiana, especially went LSU cannot beat Tennessee or Georgia, and goes on to say that Mike Ditka and the New Orleans Saints are a bunch of losers just like the crowd. Tommy Rodgers says that nobody in the FBI is not a real Italian, and calls Little Guido "the only flunky of the whole bunch." He then says it is good to be in New Orleans and that it doesn't matter what the Saints' win-loss record is as he is kicking Tracy Smothers' ass.
Tommy Rodgers beats Tracy Smothers despite the interference of Full Blooded Italians (Rich, Little Guido, Ulf Herman), especially Little Guido, who almost hits Smothers with the Italian flag. After the match, Tracy Smothers almost takes his anger out on Little Guido, but Tommy Rich hits Rodgers with the flag. Chris Chetti runs back into the ring, takes outSMothers and Little Guido before taking out Tommy Rich. After the match, Ulf Herman shows up with Mabel, and they both jump Chetti and Rodgers from behind. Before Mabel can splash Chetti through a table, Spike Dudley shows up and becomes a punching bag for both Mabel and Herman, but he rolls off the table before being splashed through it by Mabel. Spike Dudley fights back, hitting Herman with the Acid Drop. He goes for the pinfall, and moves out of the way when Mabel tries to hit a splash on him. Spike then kicks Mabel in the crotch before hitting him with the Acid Drop, then pins both men for a three count.
we see footage of Balls Mahoney, Axl Rotten and Masato Tanaka. Axl Rotten says The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) have succeeded and that they stand before them as broken men in the coliseum, not even dressing wtih everyone else, as they are ashamed and embarrassed. Tanaka and Mahoney are not even ready to wrestle, and the Louisiana State Athletic Committee has stated that if the Dudleys even pick up a chair, they are stopping the match. They may not be ready to go, but they have heart, and he and Mahoney have had it since Day 1, and that nothing will keep the three of them down. They will take The Dudleys from pillar to post and beat them like their parents should have, because all they care about now are giving The Dudleys a receipt for what they did to them, and they will beat their asses live on pay-per-view.
Before the next match, Tammy Lynn Sytch shows up, removes her black-and-white striped stockings, and puts on white socks and sneakers for her role as one of the two special guest referees in the next match in front of the crowd.
Lance Storm beats Jerry Lynn. During the match, Tammy Lynn Bytch breaks up a count by special guest referee Tammy Lynn Sytch, who proceeds to take her into the ring and strip her down to her bra and panties. The other special guest referee, Mikey Whipwreck, shoves Sytch and hits Bytch with a Whippersnapper while trying to prevent a catfight. Jerry Lynn eats a Whippersnapper, then Lance Storm hits Mikey with a low blow. After a slow count from Sytch, Storm confronts Sytch, and Lynn is hit with a blow before being hit with a Whippersnapper from Storm. Sytch heats a Whippersnapper from Mikey as Jerry Lynn puts Lance Storm in an inside cradle, then Mikey turns it over so that Storm's shoulders are off the mat, thinking that Tammy Lynn Sytch hit him with the low blow when it was really Storm.
Terry Funk apologizes, saying he did not want to punch Tommy Dreamer in the face, but as he clenched his fist, his fingers shot out in his face, and he doesn't want to put his fingers in anyone's face. He plans to walk out of the arena, and he apologizes to Joey Styles, Paul E. Dangerously and the fans for making a terrible ass out of himself. He then says he is leaving the building now, and is heading home - forever.
Before the next match, Buh Buh Ray Dudley tells the world that they are looking at are the four-time ECW World Tag Team Champions, the most skilled, scientific wrestlers in the world and the three toughest sons-of-bitches to ever step foot in an ECW ring. He knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is not one person in the back or in the arena man enough to take the tag team titles from them. When Axl Rotten shows up with Balls Mahoney and Masato Tanaka, Axl Rotten tells referee Jim Molineaux to get out of the way, as ECW has wrestling that WCW and WWF cannot touch and that they do not listen to doctors or state athletic commissions. He then says that when he looks at The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray, D-Von and Big Dick Dudley), he sees "three punk ass bitches" and "three big, fat sweaty pussies." He says to screw the state athletic commission, as he knows New Orleans is all about getting drunk on Bourbon Street and getting into a fight. He then asks if the fans want to see a brawl, then says to ring the bell and make chairs legal.
Balls Mahoney and Masato Tanaka beat The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) to win the ECW World Tag Team Championships! During the match, referee Jim Molineaux is inadvertently knocked out with an elbow from Tanaka, allowing Sign Guy Dudley, Big Dick Dudley and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner to all get involved. This leads to a chair war between both teams, as well as Jim Jones to make a pinfall only to fake a rotator cuff injury before he can make it to three - and a chair shot to the end in response. Tanaka then kicks out of the Dudley Death Drop, causing a quarrel between the Dudley Boyz that nearly costs them the match while Axl Rotten handcuffs Big Dick Dudley to a ring post. The Dudleys then bring out a pair of tables - one of them the timekeeper's - but Rob Van Dam and Sabu show up and put both Dudleys through them, allowing Tanaka and Balls Mahoney the win.
"The Franchise" Shane Douglas says a lot can be said about him and The Triple Threat (Douglas, Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido), and while the fans don't have to like him and they can hate them all they want, he is not a liar. He as the best commentator in the business when Bigelow and Candido were in the ring, and has told everybody there is a reason why they will prevail tonight. Rob Van Dam, Sabu and Taz will fail because Taz is out for himself, Sabu is pissed because he's not a tag champion and because RVD is a second-place player. They stand united because they have been friends before ECW existed, and they will be friends long after while their opponents will turn on each other when they get the chance.
We see a video package of The Triple Threat ("The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow) and the team of Sabu, Rob Van Dam and Taz.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer's tag team partner is none other than Jake "The Snake" Roberts.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer and Jake "The Snake" Roberts beat Justin Credible and Jack Victory. During the match, The One Man Gang and Rod Price show up and attack Dreamer and Roberts, then New Jack - who is supposed to be incarcerated after his attack on Jack Victory from earlier - shows up with Kronus and a ton of weapons, and takes out Price, The One Man Gang, Jack Victory, Jason and Justin Credible. After the beatdown, Lance Wright and Chastity get involved, but Chastity is put in a piledriver by Dreamer and Wright is alid out. Nicole Bass gets hit with a low blow and a DDT from Roberts when she yells at Dramer, then Dramer tosses Justin Credible into a ladder before Roberts hits Justin with a DDT on the ladder for the win. After the match, Terry Funk - who is supposedly out of the building after he said he left - shows up and congratulates Dreamer, then chews him out for picking Roberts for a partner, saying he is "a piece of crap" compared to him. Funk says Dreamer has used him one too many times, even as Dreamer tells Funk he told him he didn't want to do it, and this leads to Funk repeatedly calling Dreamer an asshole. Dreamer finally loses his cool after Funk repeatedly smacks, saying he'll turn his back on him but he will never hit him. Funk hits Dreamer as soon as he turns his back and repeatedly hits him with the microphone before tossing Dreamer in and out of the ring and ramming his head into the entrance ramp.
Rob Van Dam says the people has tuned in to kick The Triple Threat's ("The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow) asses, and also to see Sabu and Taz. We then see footage of Taz, who says that he finds it hard to admit, but says Douglas is correct as he could care less about his tag team partners tonight and is using them to get to him. With his hands, he will choke him out with the Katahajime. In a few short moments, he will hook the Katahajime on Douglas.
Before the next match, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas says he only fears an organization who takes a punk with a fake belt and calls him a champion after he built the company. He then says Taz is no world champion, and calls him a bitch, a pussy and a punk. He calls Rob Van Dam "a Franchise wanna-be" who holds a trinket he threw down and did not want anymore. He says Sabu "ain't shit," and doesn't have a belt thanks to him, Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido. The three of them are tired of hearing there is "another Triple Threat," and that they are the only Triple Threat and only one World champ. He tells the fans to sit down and to watch their heroes get smacked around in the ring. When Sabu and Rob Van Dam show up, they are attacked from behind by The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) until Taz shows up and makes quick work of them.
Sabu, Tazz and Rob Van Dam beat The Triple Threat ("The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow) after Taz gets Douglas in the Tazmission only for Sabu to hit an Arabian Facebuster on Taz to get the pinfall and the win. Taz and Sabu have a confrontation over this after the match, and it almost gets physical. Bill Alfonso has to keep both men from tearing each other apart, but Taz eventually snaps and almost goes at it with Sabu before leaving.
Joey Styles introduces the crowd to tonight's show. Suddenly, Terry Funk shows up from the crowd wearing a graduation cap on his head, which he tosses into the audience.
