Feel The Heat - Sunday Night Heat recap for November 8, 1998

Before the next match, Scott "Too Hot" Taylor says he loves "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher before they both hug. When Al Snow shows up, he says the time for fun and games is over and that this business operates on two principles: the carrot and the stick. He says some people are tired of getting the stick, and that is why there is a secret organization in WWF fighting to get a push. Snow then introduces a few members: "Bombastic" Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio, who, like Snow, are wearing "J.O.B. Squad Black and Blue Crew" shirts. It is then noticed that the white headband around Head is really Mr. Socko.

The J.O.B. Squad (Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio) beats Too Much ("Too Sexy" Brian Christopher and Scott "Too Hot" Taylor). During the match, Bob Holly has Scott "Too Hot" Taylor in an inside cradle, and after the referee counts to two, he looks up at "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher, who is on the top rope, then looks back down and makes the three-count.

Kevin Kelly interviews Val Venis in the locker room. Venis admits he was insensitive to Terri Runnels' pregnancy, and says Runnels is conniving, manipulative and a liar. He says that one must take certain precautions in his line of work, and years ago, he had a vasectomy. He says that if there were "any seeds in this watermelon," there would be a whole lot of "little Valbowskis" running all over the place, and there is only one Big Valbowski.

Paul Bearer and The Undertaker shows up before X-Pac can defend the WWF European Championship against "A Real Man's Man" Steven Regal. Bearer suggests that X-Pac stand in the corner, as The Undertaker has something to say. X-Pac takes the microphone from Bearer, and while he has respect for the The Undertaker, he has a match with Regal and tells The Undertaker to find some TV time other than his own. After X-Pac threatens to "whip [Paul Bearer's] fat ass" if he threatens him again, The Undertaker attacks X-Pac from behind before choke slamming him.

Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter are seen waiting for WWF owner Vince McMahon when Vince's limousine shows up. Vince comes out of the limousine along with The Big Boss Man and sits in the wheelchair set up for him, and tells them that discipline is the cornerstone of corporate communication and that he hopes they all learned a lesson last week.

Before the next match, The Godfather tells Shane McMahon - who is debuting as a referee for this match - that he will be the boss one day and that he will hook him up later on. The Godfather then tells "Marvelous" Marc Mero that he is leaving his hos away from him due to his bad luck with women as of late, and instead, he's just going to kick his ass.

The Godfather beats "Marvelous" Marc Mero. During the match, Vince McMahon, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson and WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter are seen watching from Vince's dressing room, and Vince says that if Shane McMahon does not do a good job as a referee, he will be demoted further down to ring crew. Vince is also heard bragging about winning in court during the "steroid trial" a few years ago. After the match, Jacqueline slaps The Godfather in the face, but she and Mero are forced to get out of the ring when The Godfather seems to like it.

We see footage of Sable training in the gym.

Kevin Kelly interviews X-Pac backstage. X-Pac says that if The Undertaker wants to draw first blood, tehn they will fight tomorrow night, as he does not back down and neither does anyone else in D-Deneration X ("Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley, X-Pac, "Road Dogg" Jesse James, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn).

The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dogg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn) show up. After the usual pre-match promo, WWF owner Vince McMahon shows up with Pat Patterson, The Big Boss Man, Gerald Brisco and WWF. WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter. Vince tells them that one week from now, they will be in a Triple Threat Match with the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line against The Headbangers (Thrasher and Mosh) and the team of D'Lo Brown and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry at Survivor Series.

Owen Hart guests on commentary for the next match.

Darren "Puke" Drozdov beats Jeff Jarrett by disqualification after Road Warrior Hawk runs into the ring and attacks Droz. Road Warrior Animal then gets in the ring and fights with Hawk before Animal and Droz hit Hawk with the Doomsday Device.

The Rock shows up. He says he is here tonight to take back what he was screwed out of: his spot in the Survvivor Series Deadly Games Tournament and to regain his position as #1 contender to the WWF Championship, and demands that WWF owner Vince McMahon give them back to him. Vince shows up with Pat Patterson, Gerald Briscoe, Pat Patterson and The Big Boss Man and says The Rock has it all wrong. He says it is business, not personal, and that he personally has a problem with the people. He says that if he has a problem with the people, then he has a problem with THe Rock because he is the People's Champion. He does not personally care for The Rock, and calls him another piece of meat on the WWF roster. He also says he does not care about the people and that the feeling is mutual. Vince says he wishes that he could reach every single one of the people, but he can reach him, and if he does, he can reach the people, which makes him feel really good. He then announces that this week on Raw, The Rock will face "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, and if he does not win the match by pinfall or submission, he will be fired from the World Wrestling Fedreation. If he wins, he will be at Survivor Series. Vince then tells The Rock that as The People's Champion, he carries the weight of all the people on his back, and ells him he is "The People's Ass" for doing that. The Rock says he would much rather be "The People's Ass" than to ever kiss Vince's.
