World War 3 is live Sunday, November 22 on pay-per-view!
Alex Wright beats Norman Smiley.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Disco Inferno beats Kaz Hayashi after Hayashi chases Sonny Onoo - who shows up near the end of the match - around the ring.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Booker T, who has not been seen since August 24th. Booker T says he has nothing but love for Stevie Ray, and tells him to do his own thing while he does his own, and goes on to say they will take care of family business when needed. But when he was laying on the cement that August night, one person came up on him and whacked him on the knee, and if that person has the guts, they will meet him in the middle of the ring, and if they don't meet in the middle of the ring, they can go at it in the back. That man is identified as Scott Hall, and he tells Hall he will "kick [him] where the good Lord split [him]."
Ricky Medlock of Lynyrd Skynyrd is seen in the front row.
Fit Finley beats Scott Putski.
We see Raven in the back. Raven quotes Kris Kristofferson: "Freedom is another word for 'nothing left to lose.'" All of a sudden, Kanyon shows up and ruins what he calls Raven's "self-pity party."
We see a video package of the recent goings on between Chris Jericho and Goldberg.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller says he wants to whup somebody tonight, and knows nobody in the crowd wants a piece of him. He then demands an opponent, saying he can beat them up. He gets a taker in the form of Steve Armstrong, and Miller tells him his hands and feet are registered weapons and that he is a three-time karate champion. He gives him the usual five seconds to leave the ring, but it only takes two for Armstrong to attack Miller from behind.
Ernest "The Cat" Miller quickly beats Scott Armstrong with a spinning roundhouse kick from the top rope. Miller hokes Armstrong out after the match, then Steve Armstrong shows up and attacks Miller. Sonny Ono distracts Steve, and Miller lays Steve out with a kick before getting a three-count. After that, Miller demands "Bullet" Bob Armstrong come out so he can fight him.
Wrath beats Kendall Windham.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. He has a match with Lex Luger later tonight. Hart says hurting people is fun and nice, but it takes its toll. Unfortunately for him, he has a nasty groin pull and the doctors are not letting him wrestle tonight. Okerlund says he saw him in the back moving just fine, but Hart insists he has a groin pull and accuses Okerlund of baiting him into a siutation where he will get hurt some more. He says people hide under chairs when they see him, and that he taught Diamond Dallas Page the hard way that he can be wiped out after he took the United States title from him. He also says Sting suffered the consequences for bringing a bat to the ring. He plans to teach everyone a lesson and make them all suffer, and then says Lex Luger is out of a match because he is hurt. Lex Luger shows up, and confronts Bret for saying how good he is only to back out due to being hurt. Bret accuses Luger of provoking him into a match where he will get hurt some more, but Luger says Bret isn't hurt at all and that he is pathetic. Bret says he should consider this as a blessing as this means he won't beat him. Lex calls him a gutless coward, then rebounds off the rope and hits Bret with a clothesline - nearly tagging Okerlund with it in the process - before putting Bret in the Torture Rack.
We see more clips of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair wrestling, this time against Hollywood (then Hulk) Hogan at Halloween Havoc 1994 under the duress of Eric Bischoff. All of a sudden, The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) show up. Anderson tells "Mean" Gene Okerlund that they will get down to the truth tonight. He knows that nWo Hollywood vs. the Horsemen has to go down, but instead of letting it happen, Bischoff plays kids' games. Anderson says pro wrestling is a man's game, and that Eric Bischoff does not even know how to be a man. With the selected clips from the Hogan/Flair matches, and says he has enough of Bischoff putting forth falsehoods and that Hogan was a man back then and not a figure hiding behind Bischoff's political power and purse strings as a shell of his former self. He is not crying for Flair, because Flair is a 13-time World champion while Bischoff has never been top contender for anything. He tells Bischoff to let the men do the fighting, and to take the pocket knife and find out what it's like to be in a man's sport, as Bischoff is afraid of dealing with a symbol of excellence in the Horsemen. Flair tells Bischoff he can play a thousand tapes of him getting beat, but he can't walk the aisle and get an ounce of respect because he has never been there, paid the price, walked the aisle and most of all, he is an overbearing punk. He is tired of paying fines for saying what he thinks. He has the Horsemen, and if Bischoff doesn't like it, he can "line them up," as the Horsemen are the best thing going today. Tonight, they are going to South Beach to rock and roll. Malenko asks the Horsemen to get the party started, as he will join up later after showing Raven why he is a Horsemen. Benoit says the Horsemen are continuing to set the standard. Mongo says Bischoff was going to mess around and make that last brain cell pop, and he's going to show him and the locker room how to giddy-up and go.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
We see a video package of the Nitro Girls, followed by a Nitro Girls performance.
J.R. Nicklaus of Worthington, Ohio is the winner of this week's Nitro Party Pack winner. We see some footage from his Nitro Party.
We see a video package of Goldberg.
Scott Norton beats Van Hammer.
Trainer Danny Young is seen taping up the lower abdomen of Bret "The Hit Man" Hart.
Saturn calls out Eddie Guerrero, telling him that if he is man enough to face him 6-on-1, he is man enough to face him one-on-one. Eddie Guerrero shows up, and tells Saturn if he wants a piece of him, he'll show him what being Latino is all about.
Saturn beats Eddie Guerrero by disqualification after he is attacked by The Latino World Order. Suddenly, Konnan shows up and tells Saturn that what Eddie is doing to the LWO is what Raven did with Raven's Flock, and tells Saturn that Eddie is using them. Saturn leaves, then Konnan then tells Eddie that he is not raza. Eddie says Konnan is the last person who should be saying "viva la raza" as he does not consider him raza due to being part of nWo Wolfpac, and that he knows their tactics and that they are ready to beat them up with baseball bats, but there will be another day, on his terms and his turf, and to watch his back. Konnan tells Eddie to watch his back as well. Konnan then meets baseball player Alex Rodriguez on his way to the back.
Before the next match can even begin, WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon shows up, and Scott Steiner tells him he and WCW both suck before heading to the back.
Psychosis beats Rey Mysterio Jr. after a distraction by the Latino World Order.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Chris Jericho. Now that everyone knows the deepest, darkest secret, he lets loose another one: he has nothing but the highest respect and regard for Goldberg, one of the best champions of all time and almost as good as himself. He says the Jerichoholics know what they saw, and that the game films do not lie. He tells Goldberg he respects him and he wishes him nothing but the best in all of his future endeavors.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
Dean Malenko beats Raven by disqualification after Kanyon interferes. "The Crippler" Chris Benoit tries to stop Kanyon, but he is attacked from behind by Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and put in a hammerlock outside of the ring. During the match, Lodi shows up carrying signs, but Steve "Mongo" McMichael shows up and hits him in the behind with a leather belt. After the match, Lex Luger shows up and feigns injury, and The Giant comes out and helps Bret out of the ring before Luger can attack him. The Giant then offers to replace Bret in their match.
Kidman and Chris Jericho wrestle to a time limit draw. Chris Jericho retains the WCW World Television Championship. Before the match, it is announced that The Giant will officially replace Bret "The Hit Man" Hart tonight in Bret's match against Lex Luger.
WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon is joined by Kenny Kaos at the commentary table. Due to Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell's actions from last week, Bagwell has been fined $50,000 and Steiner has been fined $100,000. Upon hearing this, Scott Steiner charges at Dillon, and Bagwell has to hold him back. Bagwell and Steiner then enter the ring, and Scott Steiner says that WCW sucks and that there is nobody in WCW that can control the rage inside of him. Dillon can fine him all he wants or send anyone at him (including "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, whom he calls "a skirt-wearing queer"), because he doesn't care. Bagwell takes the microphone from Scott Steiner before he can tell WCW to kiss his ass, and asks Kenny Kaos to head to the ring, as he has nothing to do with this and that he was just caught in the middle. Kenny Kaos shows up as Scott Steiner says there are people in WCW who only get airtime because they kiss butt, and that he does not kiss butt and never will, for he is the man and he is legit. Bagwell tells Kaos that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Scott then attacks Kaos from behind as Bagwell says they like how stupid he is and that he is no world tag team champion before Scott Steiner puts Kenny Kaos in the Steiner Recliner. Scott says WCW sucks and that they are the nWo, and that they do what they want to do when they want to do it.
Before the next match, Scott Hall says that the last time he saw Kevin Nash, he was really in a hole in the wall. He also brags about injuring Booker T and saying that he is only mad now, and tells Booker T "Don't sing it, bring it."
Booker T beats Scott Hall by disqualification after Scott Hall uses referee Billy Silverman as a human shield to block a top rope missile drop kick from Booker.
Lex Luger beats The Giant by disqualification after Bret "The Hit Man" Hart attacks Luger and works on his knee with a section of guardrail before putting him in the Sharpshooter. Suddenly, Goldberg gets in the ring, hits The Giant with a Spear, then accidentally Spears Luger when Bret dodges out of the way.
