Generation NXT - NXT recap for March 31, 2026

Mike Santana and OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) beat DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) in a six-man tag match.

We see Vic Joseph's backstage interview with Myles Borne from earlier today. Borne says he thanks Charlie Dempsey as well as "All Ego" Ethan Page for making him the champion he is today, and says Ethan gave him the edge that he must keep to stay champion. He says that it will be harder to stay champion than it was to become it, and he plans to walk out as North American Champion after Stand & Deliver. Myles Borne says that he is facing a SmackDown Superstar in Johnny Gargano and that he does not know what to expect from Gargano, but he hopes to get "Johnny Wrestling." Gargano shows up and takes over for Vic Joseph, and tells Borne that he used to be known as "Johnny Takeover," and if he becomes Johnny Takeover, he will eat Borne alive. He says that he will be the man he once was if he wins the North American Championship and that he will not know what he will do if he loses. Gargano claims that the cannot lay down and die, and that he must stand and deliver more than anyone knows.

Backstage, Wren Sinclair gets Kendal Grey hyped up for her match against Lola Vice.

Los Americanos (Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) beat Birthright (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) in the finals of the NXT Tag Team Championship #1 contenders' tournament to earn a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships after Shiloh Hill chases off the rest of Birthright (Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace) and El Grande Americano II shows up to distract both Birthright and the referee so that Los Americanos can load their masks, allowing Bravo Americano to headbutt Uriah Connors for the win.

Backstage, Dion Lennox is furious that DarkState (Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) is slipping and states that they are the danger of NXT, not the other way around, and that he will make sure of this at Stand & Deliver.

Jaida Parker beats Kelani Jordan.

Backstage, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake) meet with Blake Monroe and offer to keep an eye out for Tatum Paxley, but Blake Monroe says she is ready for Tatum and ready for her close-up.

General Manager Robert Stone, Joe Hendry, "All Ego" Ethan Page, Ricky Saints and Tony D'Angelo are all seated at tables in the ring for a contract signing for the NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way Match at Stand & Deliver. Joe Hendry takes the contract and signs it as Saints and Ethan squabble over it, then admits he cannot wait to see who stabs the other back between them first, as they both cannot stand seeing the other as NXT Champion and their friendship will fall apart. Hendry says Saints and Ethan cannot separate passion from desperation, and while they are desperate to be NXT Champion again, he is passionate about being NXT Champion and being in NXT in Madison Square Garden. He then says he will take that passion and defend this championship, as he will be the one to stand and deliver despite what Saints and Ethan have in store while the fans chant "We Believe." Saints tells Hendry to stop overanalyzing their friendship, and while he and Ethan want the same thing, that does not mean they cannot support each other. He also says that the NXT Championship should belong to him, then says he will make things right when he takes the title back. Saints signs the contract and hands it to Ethan, who also agrees that everything will be right in the world as he has been focused on being the greatest North American until Saints reminded him of his true value and that he deserves global recognition. Ethan says he will be the one to be the champion for a second time and signs the contract, then Tony D'Angelo yells at Ethan and Saints to shut up and mentions Saints and Ethan's histories with the title, and says NXT is in his blood, unlike Hendry's. D'Angelo says he will run everyone over like a freight train at Stand & Deliver, then signs the contract before telling Robert Stone to get out of the ring for the inevitable brawl. Stone gets out of dodge and calls for security. D'Angelo and Ethan put Saints and Hendry through the two tables, and security has to break up what is left.

Keanu Carver beats Jasper Troy in a match with Josh Briggs as special guest referee after Briggs boots Jasper Troy for shoving him. After the match, Carver demands that Briggs raise his hand in victory. Briggs does just that, then plows through him with a lariat.

Backstage, Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Eli Knight, Elio LaFleur and "Super" Sean Legacy chat backstage. LaFleur says that he will be out for six months and will have to relinquish the WWE Speed Championship. Wren Sinclair shows up and says sorry to LaFleur, then Shiloh Hill shows up and laughs about what he did to Birthright (Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace). Hank says this is not the time as they are not on Stand & Deliver and are on the outside looking in, then Shiloh says he is not on the show either, yet he has an idea.

Tatum Paxley heads to the ring. Paxley talks about how she grabbed Blake Monroe by her hair and realized that Blake is "a very complex woman," which excites her. She then calls out Blake Monroe to return the Women's North American Champonship, but Blake says she has no issue with Tatum when she shows up. Blake also says that the title feels right on her and that she never lost it in the first place, and that she cannot give it back. Tatum says Blake has something she wants, but she has something Blake wants. Tatum says Blake has the opportunity to appear at Stand & Deliver and that Blake crave the sense of belonging, which she says she has had and has caused her to do unbelievable harm while heading to place she never thought existed. Tatum proposes they face each other for the Women's North American Championship, and Blake considers Tatum the perfect co-star for the biggest show before accepting her challenge. Blake then makes it clear that they are polar opposites and that she is a polished woman and the standard of NXT while Tatum looks like one of the fans. Tatum makes it clear that while there is a bad side to Blake, there is a worse side to her, and she can be the goth to Blake's glamor and the fire to Blake's hell. This leads to both women playing tug-of-war with the Women's North American Championship, and while Tatum gets the better of Blake, Blake steals the title back.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews General Manager Robert Stone, who says that Stand & Deliver is stacked and that on the countdown, there will be a ten-person mixed tag match between Birthright (Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey, Arianna Grace) and the team of Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Wren Sinclair, Shiloh Hill and Eli Knight. Keanu Carver then shows up wanting a match with Josh Briggs, and gets a triple threat match with Briggs and Jasper Troy next week. All of a sudden, Kelani Jordan is attacking Jaida Parker with a garbage can.

This week's NXT Focus is a video package chronicling the rise and fall of the team of Sol Ruca and Zaria.

Backstage, Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) have been watching NXT Focus, and Jacy Jayne says she is glad they do not have a friendship problem while Lainey Reid says that all there is left to do is to see who Jacy's next opponent is. Izzi Dame shows up from behind them and says there is a reason that everyone wants the NXT Women's Championship, then says she makes it crystal clear what she wants.

Kendal Grey beats Lola Vice in an NXT Women's Championship #1 contender's match after countering a guillotine choke with a Northern Lights Suplex...almost. Before Kendal Grey can be declared the winner, another referee shows up and says that Kendal Grey tapped out to the choke, which was still applied, just before the count reached three. The pinfall is replayed, and Kendal Grey is seen tapping out to a still-applied guillotine choke despite the Northern Lights Suplex. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Lainey Reid) is watching from the bottom of the ramp as Shawn Michaels suddenly shows up and gets to the bottom of everything in the ring as the show ends.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 30, 2026

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Stephanie McMahon makes a surprise appearance as Cody is about to get started with speaking to the fans to discuss the situation at hand regarding Cody, Randy Orton and WrestleMania, but admits Cody will not like what she has to say. She says that she, Cody and Orton are all multi-generational members of WWE history and that they understand the business better than most, and while Cody stayed on a golden path and has brought the best out of his business, he will not be able to do it with Orton. She says that this version of Orton is diabolical and that Cody will have to be able to think like Orton, and that Cody's father Dusty Rhodes knew better than anyone else and could get down and dirty with the best of them. She also says that Cody is not his father. Stephanie says that "this version of Cody Rhodes cannot beat this version of Randy Orton" and that Cody does not know how he is dealing with. Cody says he knows everything about Randy Orton and how Orton was the coal that became the diamond, the youngest world champion in WWE at one point, legend killer by merit, and at one point so violent that some of his own past actions cannot be shown today. Cody says that some of those actions happened to Stephanie and that he was there on the road with Orton to make sure he was still breathing after the matches he had been through. Stephanie slaps Cody in the face and says she is out here because she cares about him and that nobody is giving him guidance, and that this version of Orton is not only listening to the voices in his head, but also relishing them while listening to someone else. She then says that if Cody does not figure it out, WrestleMania will be the last time Cody is introduced as Undisputed WWE Champion. Cody stops Stephanie as she leaves, then thanks her and leaves himself.

Backstage, Danhausen shows up when iShowSpeed is talking with General Manager Adam Pearce, and a desperate iShowSpeed begs Danhausen to uncurse him. Danhausen wants a billion dollars and rights to his streaming services as payment, among other things. LA Knight, who will be guesting on commentary in the New York City Street Fight that is happening next, shows up briefly, and amazingly, Danhausen does not disappear afterwards.

LA Knight guests on commentary for the next match. Internet streaming personality iShowSpeed is seen in the front row.

The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) beat The Usos (Jimmy and "Main Event" Jey Uso) in a New York City Street Fight to win the World Tag Team Championships! During the match, Logan Paul's mother hands brass knuckles to Logan Paul, and as iShowSpeed does not want Logan to use the brass knuckles due to Danhausen cursing him, he inadvertently gets dragged into the match by LA Knight when Knight goes after Logan Paul. iShowSpeed grabs the knuckles, and when LA Knight notices this, iShowSpeed inadvertently knocks him out. The Usos briefly have the upper hand during the match, but Logan Paul is able to get the knuckles back, and despite being knocked to the outside, he is able to knock out Jimmy Uso. Jey hits Logan with a tope suicida, but Austin Theory is able to crawl up to Jimmy Uso for the pin, the win and the titles.

Comedian Jeff Ross and Hamilton playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda are seen in the crowd.

Liv Morgan heads to the ring. Liv tells Stephanie Vaquer that she is done not just for attacking her, but for also attacking her family. She says that Vaquer has no family in WWE yet wants to berate her for hiding behind her and attacking her any chance she gets. She asks if Vaquer is afraid to meet her face-to-face, then says that where she comes from, it is on sight. Liv says her mother taught her to never let anyone get the best of her, then states in Spanish that Vaquer's mother is trash and calls her out. Vaquer shows up, and Liv and Vaquer brawl in the ring. Vaquer drops Liv with a superkick, then grabs a metal folding chair only to be attacked from behind by a returning Roxanne Perez. Liv joins in on the beating, then hits Vaquer with Ob-Liv-Ion on the metal folding chair.

Backstage, iShowSpeed tries to tell The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) that he did not mean to get involved in their match, but Logan, still thankful for iShowSpeed's help regardless, tells iShowSpeed that he will be alright with them, especially now that he has enemies in WWE. "The Oracle" Paul Heyman shows up, agreeing with Logan, then tells Logan and Theory to take iShowSpeed out to dinner. iShowSpeed, Logan and Theory leave, then General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and tells Heyman to check his e-mail.

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. During the match, The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) show up, but so do Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Both teams argue, and when Lyra Valkyria gets between them, Nia Jax tosses her into both teams. The Bella Twins get taken out, and Charlotte and Alexa get in the ring. Charlotte hits Nia Jax with a chop block, ending the match, and she and Alexa gang up on Nia. This leads to all four teams getting in the ring and forcing The Irresistible Forces out.

Danhausen announces that WWE will return to Madison Square Garden for Saturday Night's Main Event on July 18th, with tickets available April 2nd.

Brock Lesnar and "The Oracle" Paul Heyman head to the ring. Brock Lesnar is in his wrestling gear compared to previous appearance. Heyman says he is here to pontificate on the perils that await Oba Femi, and states that Brock was caught off guard by Oba when he was distracted by Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, then says that Brock was not dressed to fight a week later and that Oba decided to pick a fight anyway. Heyman then notes that Lesnar is now dressed to fight, as Lesnar has authorized him to let everyone know that he has seen this for 25 years in WWE and UFC, and that when Lesnar beats someone up, they end up pissing all over themselves. Lesnar then grabs the microphone and immediately calls out Oba Femi, then General Manager Adam Pearce shows up with security and states that this will not be happening tonight. Pearce says that he is preserving his WrestleMania main events and is out here to do just that, then tells Heyman and Lesnar to leave the ring as Lesnar and Oba fighting tonight is not happening. Oba Femi shows up and powers through security, then tosses Pearce to the side, circles to the ring and gets in the ring. Heyman leaves the ring as Oba and Lesnar have a staredown, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque gets in the ring to reason with both men and get between them as things are about to get violent. Heyman and Lesnar leave as Triple H says this is happening at WrestleMania, and Lesnar grabs the ring steps before tossing them back down and leaving. Lesnar then hits a security guard with the F5 to send a message to Oba Femi.

We hear from Finn Balor. He says The Judgment Day ("Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) was a family as they ran Raw for four years, and in that time, he has made enemies and bad decisions, including thinking he could make a man out of "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. He credits Dominik with turning his family against him, but reminds Dominik that he turned to him when he turned against his father Rey Mysterio and that he stepped up for him. He says that Dominik lost the Intercontinental Championship not because of his actions, but because he is a self-centered jackass. Finn Balor says he created that jackass, and that he will destroy him at WrestleMania.

Penta retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. During the match, Kofi keeps telling Grayson not to get involved on the match so that he can win the title on his own, and at one point, Grayson gives Kofi the "I told you so" treatment only to eat a Mexican Destroyer from Penta on the outside. After the match, Jackie Redmond congratulates Penta on the successful title defense, then asks what is next in store for Penta and the Intercontinental Championship. Penta announces that at WrestleMania, the Intercontinental Championship will be defended in a ladder match, stating that the top of the ladder is not his challengers' world, but his kingdom.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with "The Oracle" Paul Heyman and wants to know where Brock Lesnar is. Heyman states that Lesnar has left the building, then Pearce reminds Heyman about his e-mail. Heyman says he is from New York City and that he keeps an ear to the ground, then heads to the ring to speak to the fans again.

"The Oracle" Paul Heyman is in the ring. Heyman says he tried to do something special for the fans and give back to the community, and tried to give the fans Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi only for General Manager Adam Pearce to end it. Pearce shows up to tell Heyman to shut up. Pearce says he has tried to help Heyman a couple of times tonight, then asks him if he has checked his e-mail. Heyman says there is not something he does not already know, then Pearce tells him that Boston police have dropped all charges against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins. Heyman says he is a native New Yorker and is afraid of no man, then says he is the last manager standing from the 1980s and the last promoter standing from the 1990s. Pearce also announces that as of right now, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is medically cleared to compete. Rollins shows up from behind Heyman with a metal folding chair and smacks Heyman with the chair. Rollins goes for The Stomp on Heyman onto the chair, but he is pulled out of the ring and put in a sleeper hold by a returning Gunther. Gunther chokes Rollins into unconsciousness, then points at the WrestleMania sign.

Elle Duncan of Netflix Sports is seen in the front row.

Raquel Rodriguez beats Iyo Sky. During the match, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up, and Kairi gets on the apron only to get blasted by a big boot meant for Iyo Sky. Asuka then grabs Kairi and yells at her, and Iyo Sky hits Asuka with a tope suicida before telling Kairi to break the cycle and end things with Asuka. Iyo then gets back into the ring only for Raquel to hit the Tejana Bomb for the pin and the win.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce announces that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is hurting, pissed and looking for a receipt, and that Rollins will get it against Gunther at WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns heads to the ring. After Roman demands that the fans acknowledge him, CM Punk also heads to the ring. Punk and Roman brawl, and Roman hits a Superman Punch. Roman goes to toss Punk out of the ring, but Punk reverses it, and the brawl goes to the outside where officials, including General Manager Adam Pearce, rush out to restore order. Pearce almost inadvertently gets elbowed by Roman, and officials have to stop Punk from hitting the GTS before separating both men. Roman then hits Petey Williams with a Spear, and Punk hits Roman with the GTS. Punk then looks at the announce table, now uncovered, then feigns walking away before attacking Roman again and powerbombing Roman through the table. Punk then goes for the ground and pound, and Adam Pearce has to pull a crazed Punk off of Roman before Punk celebrates on the top of the barricade.

He says that he put Mini Vikingo in the hospital and left his mother crying, then says that next time, he will want to give his mother a lot of tissues, as he will send him to the morgue. Moxley declares that Ospreay got exactly what he asked for and has found himself in an unsanctioned cage match because no doctor will clear him due to his broken neck. He then mentions Ospreay's match with PAC on next week's Dynamite, and says PAC has even less patience than him for Ospreay's emotional response to this cold game.

Randy Orton heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Orton talks about how he attacked "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes during their contract signing. He says that he shut out the voices in his head a long time ago, and that for the past few years, he has been thinking about his legacy as well as his fifteenth world championship, but when Cody gave him his blessing to be "The Viper" and the best that he can be. Orton says that he is now listening to the voices again and that he cannot be held responsible for what happens next; he says that his voices are not the problem, but everyone else's voices. Orton then states that there is one person outside of his head that he is listening to. All of a sudden, Matt Cardona shows up and strikes Orton in the head with the microphone in his hand.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis is met by Trick Williams. Aldis admits he is impressed with Trick as of late and that he is giving him a match at WrestleMania. All of a sudden, Sami Zayn shows up, wanting to know what he will be doing for WrestleMania. Aldis says things have not been going Sami's way as of late, and unless something changes, he does not have a spot for him. Sami walks away, but then gets an idea, walks back the other way, punches Trick out, and then says he will have a match at WrestleMania one way or another.

Backstage, Randy Orton meets with General Manager Nick Aldis, angry at what Matt Cardona did earlier and wanting a match with Cardona tonight. He also say that if Aldis cannot make the match happen, the voices are going to take over. Aldis makes the match, but tells Orton to cool off on his own somewhere until then.

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) show up before the next match. Nia Jax says there is still time to get tickets for Raw, when they compete Bayley and Nia Jax with the women's tag titles on the line. Nia then says that the fans will want to see "the wanna-be contenders" in Alexa and Charlotte try their best tonight as she calls The Irresitible Forces are the team they want to watch and that there is no spotlight without them. Lash says that The Irresistible Forces are hotter compared to The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) and calls Alexa and Charlotte's friendship "fake" before stating that they will not bring the show down too much and demanding that both teams then wrestle. The Irresistible Forces then watch the next match from ringside.

Charlotte shoves Brie down to the mat as she and Alexa leave the ring.

Backstage, Damian Priest finds R-Truth building a new clubhouse. Jelly Roll shows up, and R-Truth thinks that Jelly Roll is "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Rhea Ripley then shows up, and R-Truth takes this as Rhea Ripley and "Dominik Mysterio" getting back together again and hopes Liv Morgan does not see this. After R-Truth says that the clubhouse will have a hot tub, Jelly Roll warns Rhea Ripley that Jade Cargill is mean, violent, big and strong, yet Rhea Ripley is the one to humble Cargill at WrestleMania. He then leaves to get ready for his match with Kit Wilson, then R-Truth runs after him. Rhea congratulates Priest on winning the WWE Tag Team Championships with R-Truth, and Priest admits that while his gold is unexpected, he expects Rhea to get hers at WrestleMania and tells her to take care of Cargill already. Rhea says she is about to do just that.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair checks on Alexa Bliss when The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) confront them. Charlotte tells The Bella Twins that they did not stand a chance without The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend), and tells them to get to the back of the line. Brie says they did not ask The Irresistible Forces to watch their match and tells Charlotte not to blame them, and that they came back to become Women's Tag Team Champions by any means necessary.

Rhea Ripley heads to the ring. Rhea says she never expected any integrity from Jade Cargill, as she was fully under the impression to do whatever it took to not get her hands dirty. She did not, however, expect B-Fab and "Michin" Mia Yim to be desperate enough to stoop down to Cargill's level. She says that if they want to play that game, that is fine, as it is WrestleMania season and she does not care who she has to go through to get there. Rhea says she is dressed for any occasion, and dares Michin, Cargill and B-Fab to join her. Jade Cargill shows up, as does Michin and B-Fab, and Cargill says Rhea sounds real slick for someone who got dropped last week, and says that Michin and B-Fab did not join her; instead, they positioned themselves in power. B-Fab calls Rhea "a selfish backstabber" who does not care who puts in the work as long as she gets the rewards, and Michin says she has been grinding for decades just like Rhea, and while she and B-Fab are forgotten, Rhea gets all the love and attention. Michin says they are tired of this and that they want theirs now, and B-Fab says Cargill gave them the opportunity and they took it, and that with Cargill, what you see is what you got. Cargill then says that Rhea can be their guest if she wants her ass kicked, then says that they spoke with General Manager Nick Aldis and that B-Fab has offered to step up, and that Rhea will learn tonight. Rhea tells Jade that they will learn that actions have consequences and that she is something that Cargill cannot protect B-Fab from. Rhea then calls for a referee, which leads to a match.

Rhea Ripley quickly beats B-Fab by disqualification after Jade Cargill attacks her on the outside. Rhea fights back after the match and goes for Riptide on Cargill, but "Michin" Mia Yim and B-Fab gang up on her before readying her for Jaded.

Kit Wilson says he looks the part while Danhausen is toxic. Danhausen interrupts Kit Wilson before he can finish that sentences, curses him and disappears.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Drew McIntyre. McIntyre is taped up, but still walking, and he admits that he can feel the pain from fighting Jacob Fatu last week. He says he is not here to fight tonight, but if Jacob Fatu wants to start something, he will finish it. He then says that Jacob Fatu took WrestleMania away from him and that when a man has nothing to lose, he is at his most dangerous.

Carmelo Hayes' open challenge for the WWE United States Championship is answered by Sami Zayn. Trick Williams then shows up and watches the next match from ringside.

He asks McIntyre what is wrong with him after trying to take him out, end his career and take food off his family's table. He says that kicking his teeth down his throat, hitting his head with the WWE Championship, hitting him with a car and even tossing him off the side of a building was not going to keep him down, and that he is still standing. Jacob says that as long as he has air in his lungs, he will dog walk McIntyre ever week. McIntyre shows up and says he is the victim, not Jacob, and that Jacob started this when he accused him of a crime he did not commit, saying that he is guilty until proven innocent and that Jacob is straight guilty because he is a criminal. He says that Jacob Fatu stole everything from him, then says "Screw your damn kids." General Manager Nick Aldis intervenes, saying neither man is in any condition to beat each other up tonight until WrestleMania, when they finally square off one-on-one. He then says McIntyre and Jacob have become liabilities to themselves and WWE and that WWE will not be held responsible, and that their match will be unsanctioned.

Backstage, Jelly Roll meets with Matt Cardona, saying he feels bad after what Randy Orton did to him. Matt Cardona wants to kick Randy's ass tonight, then Jelly Roll leaves and Zelina Vega and Aleister Black show up. Zelina says that Cardona is picking a fight he cannot win to fix his ego, and Aleister says that there would have been if it was just Randy, but Randy now has the voices in his hand.

Chelsea Green catches up with Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany declines Chelsea's help against Giulia.

Giulia beats Tiffany Stratton following the distraction by Kiana James, which allows Giulia to get the knees up for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and get the win.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Bayley says that she and Lyra Valkyria that they had to remind The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) who runs SmackDown and who has their eyes on the women's tag team division. Randy Orton is on the phone with someone. He tells that person that he will see them soon.

Randy Orton beats Matt Cardona. After the match, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes comes out of his tour bus, heads towards the ring, and gets stopped by security and General Manager Nick Aldis. Cody says he just wants to talk to Orton, but Aldis reminds him not to jeopardize the WrestleMania match. Cody stares down Orton from the ring apron, and this soon leads to a brawl. Orton retreats, and security and officials try in vain to stop the brawl when it makes its way outside. Both Cody and Orton fight off security as they continue to beat each other up, and even Jelly Roll has to show up reason with both Cody and Orton. All of a sudden, Randy Orton hits Jelly Roll with an RKO and smiles on his way to the back.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway show up on the stage. Stokely introduces FTR, then Wheeler says they made a choice to dump the dead weight and refuse to carry Copeland over the finish line of his career. He says that they are now AEW World Tag Team Championships for refusing to take a back seat to Copeland's shadow, and that they take a back seat to no one. Wheeler addresses FTR's history with Copeland and Copeland's mentorship, then says that Dax and Stokely are his family now and that he does not need Copeland or his wife, stating that Copeland's time has passed. After Wheeler proclaims that FTR are living legends now, Harwood says that Copeland is now "a nostalgia act" and that everybody including Copeland knows it. He says that what happened to Beth Copeland made Adam Copeland look deep inside herself, and implies that what happened to Beth is nothing compared to what will happened to Adam Copeland. Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong then show up for the next match as FTR hounds the front row fans. Stokely bumps into Orange Cassidy, and Orange Cassidy gets shoved back by Dax Harwood. He also mentions that he is undefeated so far this year, which MJF and Kenny Omega cannot say, and states that The Don Callis Family should be fighting for the AEW World Championship instead of making deals with MJF, and that he should be the man to fight for it. He then addresses "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, who shows up, and says that he does not want anything to come between what they have, as he knows that Takeshita does not like Okada. He then reaffirms his commitment to "Protoshita."

"The Toxic Spider" Thekla retains the AEW Women's World Championship against Mina Shirakawa. During the match, Thekla pulls out a belt, but referee Mike Posey takes it away from her, allowing Thekla to pull out metal knuckles and knock Mina out mid-slam before hiding the evidence to pin, win and retain.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kenny Omega. Omega says that despite a no physicality clause for next week's contract signing, everyone is used to how MJF operates, then says that now is the time and that if a god needs to take the World title off a devil, he is the man to do it. "Speedball" Mike Bailey shows up and says that he admires Omega, and hopes Omega beats MJF for the World Championship so that he can face him for the title. Both men then shake hands.

Backstage, we hear from The Demand. Ricochet apologizes to the fans for losing his cool and shoving Toa Liona off after being screwed out of the National Championship by AEW at Revolution, and says that it should be him facing MJF for the World Championship. He says that Kenny Omega earned a World title shot by doing the bare minimum, especially when he beat him in their only match, and that he is tired of it.

Darby Allin beats Rush in a no count-outs match after dodging the horns and pinning Rush with a jackknife pin. After the match, The Don Callis Family shows up, and Mark Davis grabs Darby from behind and piledrives him on the outside before The Family brings him into the ring for a Lance Archer chokeslam. As this goes on, Andrade el Idolo is not exactly on board with what The Family is doing.

She says she has seen what Zaria has said on social media, and thought that they were stronger than this. Sol Ruca states that Zaria states that decided that she was not worth standing next to anymore, even after she fought for her when no one else would and always gave her the benefit of the doubt so she could make her name mean something. She then says that Zaria never wanted to be part of a team and just wanted her moment, and when she could not get her own moment, Zaria took her out. Sol Ruca says she wanted to pull Zaria forward and did what she did because she thought they were better together, and that she wanted Zaria to shine as much as she did. She says that while she was fighting for the both of them, Zaria just wanted to make everything about her. Sol Ruca then says she sees and hears her and knows who Zaria really are, and dares Zaria to prove she can stand alone at Stand & Deliver. Zaria concludes for that as long as Sol Ruca stands, she is never going to. She says this is not about Sol Ruca, but about choosing herself, and if breaking her will allow her to be who she wants to become, so be it. Sol Ruca is surprised that Zaria views her as the bad guy in her story and that she viewed their friendship as a transactional relationship, then says that Zaria threw away opportunities because she was ashamed to stand beside her. Zaria says that Sol Ruca is not the villain, but the mistake.
