They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for August 9, 2024

In memoriam: Kevin Sullivan, 1949 - 2024.

Darby Allin beats The Butcher.

In backstage footage from after Dynamite, Alicia Atout interviews Rush, who says that he is not happy before Don Callis shows up and asks Rush if he is willing to do anything to be the best. Rush says yes, and finds out that Don Callis has booked him in a match on Collision against Preston Vance. Don Callis tells him that he only wants Rush to hurt him; he wants Rush to put him in the hospital.

In backstage footage from after Dynamite, Jeff Jarrett is suddenly attacked by "Hangman" Adam Page. Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal try to hold Hangman back, but they also get hurt. We then hear from Jay Lethal, who says he is sick and tired of Hangman thinking he can do whatever he wants as well as putting his hands on Jeff Jarrett, then challenges Hangman to a match on Dynamite. Jay Lethal admit that fighting is more in Hangman's wheelhouse, but he is one of the best professional wrestlers, and he will not make this a walk in the park.

"The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson guests on commentary for the next match.

Wheeler Yuta beats Rocky "Azucar" Romero with the Cattle Mutilation. Swerve Strickland is seen watching the match backstage.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Willow Nightingale. Willow says she has felt heartbroken for a long time, but now she is frustrated, especially after she was such good friends with Kris Statlander until Stokely Hathaway came along. Tomohiro Ishii shows up showing his disgust with Stokely, and Willow has a conversation with Ishii.

Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat Zane and Dave Dawson.

We hear from "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo, who says that she can turn anything into an instrument of violence and that Thunder Rosa is outclassed in the ring. She says she will use the bullrope to summon a symphony of violence so severe that the effects will outlast Thunder Rosa and leave a lesson for those to follow.

We hear from "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, who says that he is doing great right now and that he wants Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Taven and Bennett show up and brag about the kind of champions that they are, and Taven says that while Dustin wants it all, they are here to shatter his dreams. Bennett then kicks Dustin in the groin.

Saraya beats "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose after Nyla suplexes Saraya into the ring only for Harley Cameron to grab Nyla by the ankles, causing Saraya to fall on top of Nyla and get the win.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
