Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for August 31, 2024

In memory of Sid Eudy, 1960 - 2024.

K-Toomer beats Luke Justice. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews K-Toomer at the announce desk. K-Toomer says he is coming for his championship, and says that it is also personal because the person who took his title took him out, and he does not care who he takes out in the process.

Derrick King beats Ethan Steele, Ruffshot Lamont and Jacksyn Crowley in a four-way match.

Tim Bosby retains the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship against Big John Dalton with a crucifix pin in a Bosby Open Invitational Match.

The Righteous Path (Brother Bruce and Marrow) beat CJ Money and CJ Blaine. After the match, CJ Blaine fights The Righteous Path, but he gets choke slammed by both Brother Bruce and Marrow before being smacked in the back with a shinai by Reverend Ash Taylor.

In footage from earlier today, "The GunShow" Brett Michaels says "The Problem Child" Aaron Roberts has something that belongs to him and that his sights are set on him, and even if he has to go through K-Toomer, he is coming for the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship. He then warns Roberts and K-Toomer that they are both looking down the barrel of a GunShow Lariat.

Backstage, we hear from "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn and Big Nasty Phil. Bradley says they are pissed off, and Phil warns everyone in the battle royal that they will not make a name for themselves off of Bradley. Bradley says he is sick of all the rookies stepping up to him like some kind of punk, and calls out Suckerboy for being the most recent one, saying that he will show him how much of a sucker he really is for messing with the wrong main eventer.

Suckerboy beats "Main Event" Brad Skimahorn after reversing a roll-up by Bradley into one of his own. After the match, Bradley and Big Nasty Phil attack and lay out Suckerboy.

Jordynne Grace and Jonathan Gresham beat The Lane Dynasty ("The Best of the Best" Austin Lane and "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane) in a mixed tag team match.
