He says that he barely left with his head in his shoulder in his last encounter with Lance Archer, and he knows that when he hands the World title to the referee, he may never touch it again. MJF and Wardlow gift Jericho with "Clownico le Clown," who is holding a gift in his hands. Jericho takes the gift, but before he can open, MJF tells Sammy Guevara he will get him his jacket, then tells Jericho that he will make a big announcement and he wants Jericho to be there. Jericho then opens the gift, which is a large picture of MJF. Jericho thanks MJF for the gift, then hits Clownico le Clown with the picture before telling MJF he hates clowns and to never interrupt him again. MJF and Jericho have a laugh, then the rest of the locker room shows up to celebrate with Jericho. The show ends with fake credits where exactly thirty Chris Jerichos are credited for everything from executive producer to catering.

We see footage from a press conference between "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Jake Hager regarding their match for the AEW TNT Championship at Fyter Fest. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is not fazed by Jake Hager's absence at the start of the press conference, as Hager is either doubting himself or too stupid to put up a brave front despite Cody wanting to face him , and says that Cody will still be champion after Fyter Fest. Cody says that he is hopeful for Fyter Fest, and states that Ricky Starks left last week's Dynamite with work and a job after last week's TNT Championship match. He says that he takes wrestling seriously, as it has fed him as long as he has been alive and that he likes the feeling of professional wrestling from wrestling in the ring to the enjoyment the fans have at home. Suddenly, The Butcher and The Blade are commandeering FTR's pick-up truck, and The Blade says that they have been looking for a new meat wagon and that this fits the bill. As FTR try to get out of the ring, The Blade threatens to have The Butcher tear the truck apart if they take another step. Suddenly, The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) are standing behind FTR in the ring, and The Blade says that while FTR may be excited to take on The Young Bucks, they are challenging them and The Young Bucks to an eight-man tag team match against them and The Lucha Bros. After the match, Taz says that Cage came to work and competed while Moxley is "sitting at home with some bullshit excuse" because he is afraid of Cage. He says that Fyter Fest is coming and that the AEW World Championship is in danger, and that Cage will hurt Moxley more than he ever had been at Fyter Fest before taking the title. He then asks Moxley if he can stop the path of Cage.

Backstage, Brodie Lee meets with Colt Cabana regarding their win. Santana and Ortiz get out of the ring when Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) run into the ring.

Orange Cassidy shows up, followed by Chris Jericho. Jericho says that the chicken crossed the road to get to the other side, and while it is amusing to hear at first, it soon becomes "annoying and dumb," which explains Orange Cassidy. He calls Cassidy the "chicken crossed the road joke" in wrestling, and the more he sees him, the more he pisses him off. He says that his name was stupid and that his matches were an embarrassment, and when Cassidy was signed to AEW, he found out that it was because people loved him. Jericho admits that he "kinda got it" after watching a few more of Cassidy's matches, saying that Cassidy is different and has done things differently enough that he got over on his own just by being himself. He says that Cassidy's appeal is that he like the fans: lazy, a slacker, and not having what it takes to make it to the top, and that he made a mistake getting in his face. Jericho then tells Cassidy to be the best person he can be at Fyter Fest, because he will kick his teeth down his throat in 30 seconds if he tries his comedic shin kicks. He tells Cassidy to reach deep into his pockets and pull out "a man-sized miracle," as that is what it will take to beat him at Fyter Fest, and says that will not happen as the phenomenon will be over and he will run out of juice. Cassidy takes the microphone away from Jericho, then puts it down and comically kicks at Jericho's shins before putting his hands in his pockets. Jericho takes Cassidy's sunglasses and breaks them, and Cassidy hits Jericho with a double-leg takedown, starting a brawl that sees Cassidy take Jericho behind the barricade before Jericho strikes back and takes it into the stands. After the match, Jiericoh states that the threat of "Pineapple Pete" has been vanquished before making fun of "Hangman" Adam Page and The Young Bucks not being around for the past two months before telling The Elite to "get their shit together" and face The Inner Circle one more time, as they act while everyone reacts to COVID-19 and write history while history stands still. As a result, The Inner Circle has created the "Stadium Stampede Match," saying that last week's Street Fight is nothing compared to what they will do to The Elite in a football stadium. He then challenges The Elite to the first-ever Stadium Stampede Match against The Inner Circle, and says that they await their response. Daniels escapes the move and hits Angel's Wings, but Brodie Lee kicks out at one. Daniels goes for Angel's Wings again, but Lee blocks it. Lee eventually hits a discus clothesline to win the match. After the match, Jon Moxley shows up and fights off The Dark Order, but Brodie Lee and 10 leave with the AEW World Championship. Meanwhile, the rest of The Inner Circle is divided on who had the best flim flam between Jericho and Guevara, and Jericho says they should agree to disagree and stay strong with an "old-fashioned Manitoba melee." Jake Hager says it will hurt, but he is behind the idea as it will make The Inner Circle stronger than ever. Guevara wants to start the fight, but it is Santana who starts the fight by virtually headbutting Guevara. Somehow, "The Librarian" Peter Avalon, Jungle Boy, Sonny Kiss, Luther, Ted Irvine, Lou Ferrigno, Silent Bob, Soul Train Jones, Vickie Guerrero and a host of others also get involved. Afterwards, Jericho questions if he actually saw Lou Ferrigno with a taser (he did).

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) beats Jimmy Havoc and "Superbad" Kip Sabian in a no disqualification, no-count-out match after Orange Cassidy outsmarts Havoc, Sabian and Penelope Ford.

We hear from Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. in her own office, and we get a behind the scenes look at how one of her segment on how to be a role model is set up. We find out that Rebel (whom Britt calls "Reba") does Britt's make-up, and that Dr. Britt Baker is in complete control of how everything is done. Britt then says that not everyone can be a role model, and says that glasses wearers, fat people, wannabes and people with a snaggle tooth cannot be role models, all the while making fun of Tony Schiavone's looks. She then says that some people are born to show people what not to do.

On the subject of how much he can take, he says he can take more than what Lance Archer dished out last week.

Brodie Lee beats Marko Stunt.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who talks about how his AEW World Championship victory feels like a lifetime ago, and instead of being out in a crowd, everyone is watching at home. He says that everyone will get through this together and that he will be bleeding and sweating again, and that now is a good time to reflect on what one is thankful for, of which he has a lot, including his wife and steel chairs. He then says that AEW is live next week, and he will get in his truck, head east and be live on Dynamite next week. He knows that he has a big target on his chest on the way to Double or Nothing, and says that to take him on is to do so at one's own risk. He then tells everyone to be kind to their neighbor, support local businesses by ordering take-out, and not to forget to call their grandmother.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for April 22, 2020

The show begins with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes sitting at some monitors behind a gaming chair and looking at the competition in the TNT Championship Tournament, wondering if his sword has been sharpened and if he has answered the call, and questions if he has become comfortable. He then talks about TNT commissioning a new championship barely a year into Dynamite's existence, and talks about how complacency is a dirty word in wrestling. He then says there is plenty of will in the tournament, and that it will soon be revealed who has enough of it.

We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that he has not heard a word from Chris Jericho regarding his challenge of "The Elite Deletion," and calls "The Bubbly Bunch" a "A Melting Pot of Mooncalves." He says that Jericho was trembling in fear last week, and that Sammy Guevara was the only one brave enough to mention his name. He then welcomes Guevara to fight Jericho's fight for him, but warns him that he will mash him and eat him if he tries before sentencing him to deletion. He then realizes that Jericho did not utter his name due to not knowing how to deal with his broken brilliance, then proposes he speak to another vessel: the normal Matt Hardy, who says that Jericho was so angry at him for having the backing of The Elite, who he has friendship and respect for, because he knows that knocking down the pillars creates chaos, which creates opportunities, which he cannot let happen. He says that AEW is a platform for the future, not for Jericho, and that AEW is trying to keep the future alive. He supports what AEW is doing, and if Guevera wants to fight him, he will kick the ass of everyone in The Inner Circle before he does the same to Jericho.

Taz takes a closer look at Kenny Omega's V-Trigger and Snapdragon in Technique By Taz.

Kenny Omega beats Alan Angels.

We see a vignette for Scorpio Sky where he talks about how he always wanted to be a professional wrestler, his lower back injury from 2008 and 2009 that nearly ended his career, how he had nearly given up on pro wrestling before forming SoCal Uncensored with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian.

Orange Cassidy beats Jimmy Havoc after Penelope Ford's distraction and interference attempt - which also includes "Superbad" Kip Sabian taking down Chuck Taylor and Trent with a tope con hilo - backfires. After the match, Havoc attacks Cassidy alongside Sabian, and Taylor and Trent force them to retreat.

He promises he will come back, rise from the ashes and become AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Jake Hager says that sadness is for ugly people, and that he will beat Jon Moxley the next time they meet. Chris Jericho says he does not want anybody to be sad, as they will do what they always do. Santana proposes they do a flim flam video, and Jericho says that the best flim flammer get a bottle of hand sanitizer. Everybody then Flim Flams, with Guevara clearly winning out and Jericho being angry with Guevara always having to be a show-off before telling him to enjoy his hand sanitizer.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for April 8, 2020

We hear from Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who says that his history will not be his destiny, and asks if one would stand in front of a train moving across the tracks, jump out of a plane without a parachute or stand in a wrestling ring with Lance Archer thinking they have a prayer, as that person would be done in all three situations. He says that nobody wanted Lance Archer, and that when Marko Stunt saw that an opportunity, he should have stayed thought of as a fool than to erase all doubt. He also tells "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes not to let this slip away from him, as he has the feeling Shawn Spears will beat Cody. Robert then asks Cody if he is a man or a mouse, and tells him to "squeak up" and tell him.

Nakazawa tells Omega he is EVP, and Omega says he will think about it. Orange Cassidy then shows up with the real Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) show up, having heard everything, and angrily propose that they have a tag team match where the "Best Friends" name is on the line.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) are on the top spot in the tag team division, Hikaru Shida is #1 in the women's division and Jake Hager is at the top of the men's division.

We see a video package chronicling the events between Jon Moxley and Jake Hager, who will square off in a no-holds-barred empty arena match next week.

We see a video package for "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears in the TNT Championship Tournament.

Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) beat Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa.

We see a video package of Brodie Lee, who meets with some three members of The Dark Order and chastises two of them for having wrinkles in their clothes while the other's is neat and has a tie. The neat member is given an opportunity by Brodie Lee, and he follows him into the arena.

Backstage, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. says that Hikaru Shida does not deserve her spot at the top of the women's division due to being a "dirty player" for busting her nose open, saying she should be lucky she did not get near her teeth.

We see another video package for Jon Moxley vs. Jake Hager next week.

We hear from "Damascus" Matt Hardy, who says that he is here to respond to Chris Jericho. He says that Jericho insulted her allies in The Elite, and says that Sammy Guevara is a false god and that Proud 'n Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) are more like "Loud and Devourable." Hardy says that while Jack Hager is intelligent, he is brainwashed and that one could put two screws into his neck to turn him into a Frankenstein's monster. He then takes offense to Chris Jericho trying to recruit Vanguard, who has put Chris Jericho's in a pot and set it on fire. After stating that The Inner Circle will be deleted, Matt Hardy extended an invitation to his compound to Chris Jericho to take part in "The Elite Deletion."

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 25, 2020

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega replace Excalibur and Jim Ross on commentary this week.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Jimmy Havoc after hitting Cross Rhodes twice. After the match, Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up on the video screen, and says that Lance Archer is chomping at the bit to get into the ring with somebody from All Elite Wrestling, and says that his phone did not ring when AEW was being formed and that Archer was overlooked because those in charge were afraid. He tells Cody to give them a chance, bring whoever he wants - including Arn Anderson and his wife Brandi Rhodes - and make a match between Cody and Archer official. He then says it is all up to Cody.

We see a black-and-white video where Darby Allin states he sees nothing "superbad" about him and that. He says that his eyes will tell the story of a man who wanted to see how bad things could get before he learned his lesson. He says that he knows some "superbad" people, and that he got too close and learned his lesson the hard way as we see him in various masks depicting the members of The Inner Circle. Allin says that he will show Sabian that he is nothing more than a sacrifice for the sins of The Inner Circle.

Darby Allin beats "Superbad" Kip Sabian with a Figure Four Leg Lock-style roll-up maneuver that he calls "The Last Supper."

We see a video package for Jake Hager.

Jake Hager beats the debuting Chico Adams with the arm triangle. After the match, Jon Moxley shows up and has a brawl with Hager, and quickly hits Hager with the Paradigm Shift. Suddenly, Hager goes for the ankle lock while down on the mat, but Moxley escapes it and fends him off before he can get back into the ring.

Backstage, Jon Moxley says he told Jake Hager to check his blind spot and that he goes where he wants, when he wants. He then says he is medically cleared for action and out for blood, then says that while Hager walked away from a fight tonight, he will make sure he is carted out on a stretcher - or die trying - when the World Championship is on the line.

We see a video package of Brodie Lee eating a meal in front of The Dark Order, who says that The Dark Order does what they want when they want and prey on the week. As Alex Reynolds is about to eat, Brodie kicks him out of the ring and tells John Silver not to eat before he is done. Suddenly, Silver sneezes, and Brodie kicks him out of the room for sneezing. (This is a dig at Vince McMahon.)

Brodie Lee beats QT Marshall in his AEW debut. After the match, a follower of The Dark Order drops a mask on top of a downed Marshall.

We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that The Inner Circle must be broken and that he is ready to delete them.

It is announced via Vanguard-1 that Nick Jackson is okay and is recovering at his home. Vanguard-1 then flies away when Nick Jackson approaches.

Kenny Omega retains the AAA Megas Championship against Sammy Guevara.

Chris Jericho shows up. After recording the cameraman singing "Judas," he addresses Matt Hardy's debut and allegiance to The Elite from last week. He then says Matt Hardy has no idea what he has gotten himself to, and gives him a chance to make the right decision and join The Inner Circle. As he calls out Matt Hardy, Vanguard-1 shows up and flies above the ring. Jericho tells Vanguard-1 he has never liked him or what he stood for, and calls him "a piece of shit." He then says that even though he does not like Vanguard-1, he respects him, and asks him to join The Inner Circle, saying that all the power will lie in the propellers, that he will have bubbly in his gas tank, drone models at his feet and smoking the finest mechanical cigars. Vanguard-1 flies away instead of accepting the offers, and as Jericho yells at Vanguard-1, Matt Hardy's theme plays. Matt Hardy is then seen in the upper section of the empty arena, then suddenly teleports to the middle section. He then teleports his way from the lower seats to the front row. He then makes his way to the ring and confronts Jericho, and tells him he knew he would come. On the subject of teleportation, Matt says he is magic. Jericho tells Matt Hardy that the show and the company was built on his back, and says that he is the one that Matt wants to align himself with and not "the arrogant sons of bitches" in The Elite. Matt says he owed The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) a debt for resurrecting his "Broken" form and because he has seen the tyranny of The Inner Circle. He says that AEW represents freedom and is his Arcadia, and that he cannot let The Inner Circle ruin AEW, which he calls his paradise. Jericho says that he made some people and brought others to AEW and that he can make Matt Hardy in AEW, then says that Matt Hardy 'deserves a mulligan" and gives him another chance to join The Inner Circle. Matt says he was repaying he debt last week, and that Jericho does not understand that there is another essence behind the wheel of his vessel, and says it is Damascus, who is over 3000 years old. He says that when it comes to creating violence, chaos and brutality, Damascus is basically perfect. Jericho says that Damascus must be wise even though nobody knows reinvention more than himself, Matt Hardy is still the same person he has known for years inside despite the change of his outward appearance. Matt says that he could say the same of Jericho, but inside, Jericho still has an evil essence inside of him. Jericho tells Matt he is "the same old Matt Hardy" who lives in the shadow of his brother Jeff Hardy as well as bad booking, as well as his own, but Matt says he is in nobody's shadow and that his broken brilliance is shining brighter than ever. Jericho gives Matt Hardy one last chance to join The Inner Circle, but all he gets from him is "delete." After an argument consisting of only the words "Elite" and "delete," Jericho tells Matt Hardy that there is nobody chanting with him in the empty arena, but Matt Hardy says there are essences everywhere, and that The Inner Circle will fade away and classify themselves as obsolete. Jericho says that nobody is here and that he has banned all fans from AEW shows until he says so, but Matt says there are essences here regardless, and that the essences of famous people are still in the crowd. Jericho says he sees nobody in the crowd, but Matt Hardy says that just because Jericho does not see them or have faith does not mean they are there, then tells him to take off his sunglasses and get a long, hard look at the entity who will delete him and The Inner Circle. Jericho says he sees the same old Matt Hardy and that he should slap the essences out of him. Jericho does that, but Matt Hardy knocks him down with a punch. Jericho says that Matt Hardy is a wizard for knocking him down with one punch and that he has magic of his own, then summons Sammy Guevara, who attacks Matt Hardy. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega show up with steel chairs and go after Jericho and Guevara. As Jericho and Guevara confront them from afar, Matt Hardy makes the pyro around the stage go off around Jericho and Guevara repeatedly, ending the show.
