Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for January 20, 2021

The Dark Order show up to celebrate -1's birthday. -1 - who is wearing his father Brodie Lee's jackt - shows up on Preston "10" Vance's shoulders while The Dark Order light the candles. John "4" Silver says tonight is a special night because The Dark Order will get a new recruit in "Hangman" Adam Page and because it is -1's birthday. After everyone sings "Happy Birthday," Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico) shows up, and Luther says they do not care and that AEW is turning into "a daycare center." He says that his face is perfectly symmetrical and that -1 is the stupid one for standing with "half-wits in masks and jaggedy teeth" in response to -1 saying he looks stupid, and says that he does not like kids and that they will ruin -1's birthday. The Dark Order attacks Chaos Project only to be attacked by TheHybrid2 (Angelico and Jack Evans), and "Hangman" Adam Page shows up and takes TheHybrid2 out. This leads to the next match.

The Dark Order (Alex "3" Reynolds, John "4" Silver, Colt Cabana) and "Hangman" Adam Page beat Chaos Project (Luther and Serpentico) and TheHybrid2 (Angelico and Jack Evans) in an eight-man tag team match after Colt Cabana sends Luther face-first into the cake. After the match, -1 confronts Serpetico for ruining his birthday and hits him in the head with a Kendo stick before saying his birthday was three days ago and throwing papers at Serpentico. Afterwards, John "4" Silver compliments "Hangman" Adam Page before asking him if he will join The Dark Order. Page says he can't, then celebratory music plays while "He Said Yes!!" shows up on the video screen in hilarious fashion before Page says that while he had fun with The Dark Order, he has done the group thing before and it has not worked out well for him. Hangman then grabs the bottle of Jack Daniels from Stu Grayson's hand.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews MJF and Chris Jericho. MJF says the last thing he wants is The Inner Circle splitting not, but Jericho is confident that tonight will bring The Inner Circle further together, and that whatever happens tonight, they will work together as a unit. Jericho says he and MJF will become the next tag team champions, and MJF agrees.

Tony Schiavone introduces Sting and Darby Allin to the ring. Sting says there is something that reminds him of himself in Darby Allin and publicly congratulates him on becoming TNT Champion. He also says that he wanted to make sure that Darby Allin had a fair chance of winning. Suddenly, Team Taz (Taz, Hook, "The Machine" Brian Cage, "Absolute" Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs) shows up on the video screen with Taz telling Sting to shut up while also mentioning Sting atatcking Starks with a baseball bat and hogtying Cage's legs together. He says that Sting and Darby Allin fight "street style" while Team Taz have been gentlemen as well as street fighters. After Starks says Sting and Darby Allin could not even see them in the street, Taz says he wants Sting and Darby in the streets and that the ball is in their court. Sting whispers something in Darby's ear, and Darby tells Taz that if he wants them in the street, then he should be careful what he wishes for, as it just might happen.

Alex Marvez interviews The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) at Kenny Omega's house. Michael Nakazawa shows up and leads the Bucks to Omega's living room, which contains an oil painting of Don Callis and Omega in ripped bodies and blue jeans. Don Callis shows up, and the Bucks confront him for ribbing them last week. Callis says Omega is busy and unavailable to meet with them and that Omega has also changed his phone number, then says it is good that they are here so they can clear the air before taking Marvez and the cameraman to "the dungeon." Afterwards, Callis cuts them a check to the Bucks to compensate them for their investment in Omega's friendship, as he is trying to keep Omega to himself. The Young Bucks are incensed and offended by Callis trying to buy them out, and Callis responds by saying they are holding Omega back. The Bucks tear the checks up, saying they used to work for his company and that his checks are no good, and after Callis calls them "blood suckers," they beat him up.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats "Pretty" Peter Avalon by submission when Avalon taps out to keep Cody from slapping him in the face during a Figure Four Leg Lock. During the match, Jade Cargill shows up after Cody hits Avalon with the Cross Rhodes, and the distraction allows Avalon to kick Cody in the groin.

We hear from FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Tully Blanchard. Blanchard says FTR must be number one and tag team champions again when Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus) show up. Jungle Boy says that FTR might be the best in the world, but he can beat either one of them. Harwood tells Jungle Boy that he is not a "fly-by-night wrestler" and that he does not need Blanchard or Wheeler to beat Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus says that everyone will be at ringside, but he will make sure nobody else gets involved.

Jon Moxley beats Nick Comorato in his first match since losing the AEW World Championship to Kenny Omega. After the match, Moxley says anything can happen on Wednesdays on Dynamite and that so much stuff is going on that he cannot keep track of everything. He says Omega thought he could bring "his frat party friends from Nashville" here to watch his back, but all he did was make things more fun and more interesting for him, and the bigger the mountain to climb, the sweeter it is at the top. Moxley says he will climb that mountain and that Omega can bring anybody he wants, as all roads in professional wrestling lead through him.

Backstage, Dasha Gonzales interviews Eddie Kingston, who will face Lance Archer next week. Kingston says he does not prepare; he just fights, and he has had a very had time lately. He says he will fight Archer next week, then Archer shows up and says he will put Kingston down while Jake "The Snake" Roberts holds Archer back and tells Kingston to prove himself next week.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Kenny Omega. Omega is unhappy that Alex Marvez and an AEW cameraman were at his house, then finds out from Don Callis that The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat Callis up.

Matt Hardy and Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) beat Matt Sydal and Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) after Marq Quen hits Dante Martin in the ribs with a steel chair as Matt Hardy distracts the referee. After the match, Darius Martin and Matt Sydal confront Private Party for this only to get beaten up, and Darius Martin and Matt Sydal both get a Twist of Fate from Matt Hardy.

Backstage, MJF and Wardlow meet with the rest of The Inner Circle. MJF says he gets the hostility and says if it were up to him, tonight's match might not be happening, but Chris Jericho is the leader and what he says goes. Sammy Guevara gets up in MJF's face and says a lot of things would not be happening if it were up to him, and MJF says that The Inner Circle have to be family to succeed. MJF says he respects Guevara for speaking his opinion and his thoughts, and says that he is coming from a good place and wants what is best for the group as much as everyone else does. He asks everyone to get teh match out of the way, but Sammy refuses to fist bump MJF, saying "We're not there yet."

Penelope Ford beats "Legit" Leyla Hirsch after "Superbad" Kip Sabian pushes Leyla's foot off the rope to prevent a rope break. (Leyla Hirsch was originally scheduled to face "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose, but Rose has been forced to pull out due to exposure to COVID-19.) After the match, Miro asks Chuck Taylor - who is known as "Charles" due to being Miro and "Superbad" Kip Sabian's butler - to take the microphone and tell Orange Cassidy - who has been in the audience throughout the match - that Miro is his best friend now . Chuck Taylor does this, and Orange Cassidy leaves.

Backstage, The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) attack Penta El Zero M, and Kenny Omega joins in while Don Callis directs traffic and Omega jabs a boot in Penta's eyes.

Next week: Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer! "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes responds to Shaquille O'Neal! Dax Harwood vs. Jungle Boy! The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex "3" Reynolds, John "4" Silver)! In two weeks at Beach Break: The wedding of "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford! Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.! A tag team battle royal for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution!

Coming soon: the AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament!

The team of MJF and Chris Jericho beat the team of Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager and the team of Proud 'n Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) in the Inner Circle Tag Team Challenge. As per pre-match stipulation, the team of MJF and Chris Jericho will be the unit that focuses on the AEW World Tag Team Championships. During the match, it is announced that Jon Moxley will replace Penta El Zero M in the six-man tag team match of what was supposed to be Death Triangle (Penta, Rey Fenix, PAC) vs. The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) and Keny Omega in the main event of Beach Break in two weeks.

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 25, 2020

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega replace Excalibur and Jim Ross on commentary this week.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Jimmy Havoc after hitting Cross Rhodes twice. After the match, Jake "The Snake" Roberts shows up on the video screen, and says that Lance Archer is chomping at the bit to get into the ring with somebody from All Elite Wrestling, and says that his phone did not ring when AEW was being formed and that Archer was overlooked because those in charge were afraid. He tells Cody to give them a chance, bring whoever he wants - including Arn Anderson and his wife Brandi Rhodes - and make a match between Cody and Archer official. He then says it is all up to Cody.

We see a black-and-white video where Darby Allin states he sees nothing "superbad" about him and that. He says that his eyes will tell the story of a man who wanted to see how bad things could get before he learned his lesson. He says that he knows some "superbad" people, and that he got too close and learned his lesson the hard way as we see him in various masks depicting the members of The Inner Circle. Allin says that he will show Sabian that he is nothing more than a sacrifice for the sins of The Inner Circle.

Darby Allin beats "Superbad" Kip Sabian with a Figure Four Leg Lock-style roll-up maneuver that he calls "The Last Supper."

We see a video package for Jake Hager.

Jake Hager beats the debuting Chico Adams with the arm triangle. After the match, Jon Moxley shows up and has a brawl with Hager, and quickly hits Hager with the Paradigm Shift. Suddenly, Hager goes for the ankle lock while down on the mat, but Moxley escapes it and fends him off before he can get back into the ring.

Backstage, Jon Moxley says he told Jake Hager to check his blind spot and that he goes where he wants, when he wants. He then says he is medically cleared for action and out for blood, then says that while Hager walked away from a fight tonight, he will make sure he is carted out on a stretcher - or die trying - when the World Championship is on the line.

We see a video package of Brodie Lee eating a meal in front of The Dark Order, who says that The Dark Order does what they want when they want and prey on the week. As Alex Reynolds is about to eat, Brodie kicks him out of the ring and tells John Silver not to eat before he is done. Suddenly, Silver sneezes, and Brodie kicks him out of the room for sneezing. (This is a dig at Vince McMahon.)

Brodie Lee beats QT Marshall in his AEW debut. After the match, a follower of The Dark Order drops a mask on top of a downed Marshall.

We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that The Inner Circle must be broken and that he is ready to delete them.

It is announced via Vanguard-1 that Nick Jackson is okay and is recovering at his home. Vanguard-1 then flies away when Nick Jackson approaches.

Kenny Omega retains the AAA Megas Championship against Sammy Guevara.

Chris Jericho shows up. After recording the cameraman singing "Judas," he addresses Matt Hardy's debut and allegiance to The Elite from last week. He then says Matt Hardy has no idea what he has gotten himself to, and gives him a chance to make the right decision and join The Inner Circle. As he calls out Matt Hardy, Vanguard-1 shows up and flies above the ring. Jericho tells Vanguard-1 he has never liked him or what he stood for, and calls him "a piece of shit." He then says that even though he does not like Vanguard-1, he respects him, and asks him to join The Inner Circle, saying that all the power will lie in the propellers, that he will have bubbly in his gas tank, drone models at his feet and smoking the finest mechanical cigars. Vanguard-1 flies away instead of accepting the offers, and as Jericho yells at Vanguard-1, Matt Hardy's theme plays. Matt Hardy is then seen in the upper section of the empty arena, then suddenly teleports to the middle section. He then teleports his way from the lower seats to the front row. He then makes his way to the ring and confronts Jericho, and tells him he knew he would come. On the subject of teleportation, Matt says he is magic. Jericho tells Matt Hardy that the show and the company was built on his back, and says that he is the one that Matt wants to align himself with and not "the arrogant sons of bitches" in The Elite. Matt says he owed The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) a debt for resurrecting his "Broken" form and because he has seen the tyranny of The Inner Circle. He says that AEW represents freedom and is his Arcadia, and that he cannot let The Inner Circle ruin AEW, which he calls his paradise. Jericho says that he made some people and brought others to AEW and that he can make Matt Hardy in AEW, then says that Matt Hardy 'deserves a mulligan" and gives him another chance to join The Inner Circle. Matt says he was repaying he debt last week, and that Jericho does not understand that there is another essence behind the wheel of his vessel, and says it is Damascus, who is over 3000 years old. He says that when it comes to creating violence, chaos and brutality, Damascus is basically perfect. Jericho says that Damascus must be wise even though nobody knows reinvention more than himself, Matt Hardy is still the same person he has known for years inside despite the change of his outward appearance. Matt says that he could say the same of Jericho, but inside, Jericho still has an evil essence inside of him. Jericho tells Matt he is "the same old Matt Hardy" who lives in the shadow of his brother Jeff Hardy as well as bad booking, as well as his own, but Matt says he is in nobody's shadow and that his broken brilliance is shining brighter than ever. Jericho gives Matt Hardy one last chance to join The Inner Circle, but all he gets from him is "delete." After an argument consisting of only the words "Elite" and "delete," Jericho tells Matt Hardy that there is nobody chanting with him in the empty arena, but Matt Hardy says there are essences everywhere, and that The Inner Circle will fade away and classify themselves as obsolete. Jericho says that nobody is here and that he has banned all fans from AEW shows until he says so, but Matt says there are essences here regardless, and that the essences of famous people are still in the crowd. Jericho says he sees nobody in the crowd, but Matt Hardy says that just because Jericho does not see them or have faith does not mean they are there, then tells him to take off his sunglasses and get a long, hard look at the entity who will delete him and The Inner Circle. Jericho says he sees the same old Matt Hardy and that he should slap the essences out of him. Jericho does that, but Matt Hardy knocks him down with a punch. Jericho says that Matt Hardy is a wizard for knocking him down with one punch and that he has magic of his own, then summons Sammy Guevara, who attacks Matt Hardy. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega show up with steel chairs and go after Jericho and Guevara. As Jericho and Guevara confront them from afar, Matt Hardy makes the pyro around the stage go off around Jericho and Guevara repeatedly, ending the show.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!

Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for March 4, 2020

Jon Moxley shows up to start tonight's show. He says that the AEW World Championship is a beautiful thing because of what it represents: professional wrestling, the sport that he loves and has dedicated his life to. He says that the championship never belonged to Chris Jericho, and that it does not belong to him; instead, it belongs to the fans who helped will AEW into existence and wanted something different and better. Moxley says that AEW brought pro wrestling back, and that he will defend the AEW World Championship with his life and crawl through any hell and climb any mountain to do it. He says there is not a man in the locker room who has what it takes to pry the championship from his cold, dead hands, and if anyone wants to try, they can do it. Moxley then says it is not over between him and The Inner Circle, as they have tried to take him out for the last two months and they will be coming after him, to which he says that he dares them. The Inner Circle shows up, and Chris Jericho says that he does not need a championship to be "Le Champion." The fans respond by chanting "Yes you do!," and Jericho makes fun of them for being unable to chant in unison and tells them to "shut [their] ass" before acknowledging Moxley's dare, saying that his reckless abandon and having more guts than brains has started "the Moxley era." After asking the fans if they like the Moxley era, Jericho says he does not and that he thinks "it sucks ass." The crowd chants by chanting "You suck ass!", this time in unison, and Jericho says the Moxley era "sucks" because Moxley's championship win was based on a lie and that he is a cheater and liar while he spent the better part of three months training for a man with one eye. He says that Moxley being able to see out of both makes him more of a snake oil salesman than a champion, and that all of the fans are also liars for supporting Moxley. He says that since Moxley won the title like he did, he has turned The Inner Circle from "a group of good-natured and very good-looking guys" into "a damn hit squad." As the crowd chants "Bullshit!", Jericho says that The Inner Circle is putting the entire AEW roster on notice, stating that they will tear everyone apart and hurt some people, starting with Moxley. Jericho states that after tonight's main event, he guarantees that Moxley will not be able to leave the arena on his own two feet, and he is so sure of what he says that if he does, he will take a leave of absence from AEW for not thirty, but sixty days. Jericho then tells Moxley that he always has a plan, and that he is not as smart as he thinks he is. Moxley says nobody ever said he was a genius, then says he is sick of listening to Jericho talk and that he will do what he did at Revolution tonight and send him packing from AEW for sixty days and make him look like "a stupid son of a bitch."

SoCal Uncensored ("The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky) and Colt Cabana beat The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, Alex Reynolds). After the match, Evil Uno is furious, saying that this was not how it was supposed to go and that when The Exalted One arrives, he will be furious and heads will roll.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. guests on commentary for the next match.

Big Swole beats "The Librarian" Leva Bates.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up. He says that in one's career, one works their way to a pay-per-view match, which is guaranteed money, and when one wins, they get even more money. He says that the only way he can be comfortable to his loss to MJF on Saturday is if MJF shows up, looks him in the eye and says he beat him fair and square. Instead of MJF, however, he gets Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Roberts says he is tired of hearing Cody cry and bitch, saying he never cried over one match in his career, and tells Cody that MJF "handed it to him." He then says he is here to slay Cody, not to praise him, and the only reason he is here is that he has a client, stating that "the dark side" is coming to AEW. He then says that when the roots take hold, it will be like a phoenix rising from the ashes and soaring to the sun. He says it has taken him twenty hears to get clean, and he has earned it, and if he thinks for one minute that he will be nice and play right, he has got another thing coming, as he used to put a snake in a bag just to make someone think about it, and once they did, he had his opponent in the palm of his hand and he was "spanking his ass." He says he will be on the outside when his client faces Cody, and while Cody can bring Arn Anderson with him, the snake takes what it wants, and he wants Cody's share of the pie. Roberts then tells Cody not to turn his back on someone you respect or are afraid of, then leaves.

PAC beast Chuck Taylor with the Brutalizer after Taylor misses a top rope moonsault. After the match, Trent and Orange Cassidy confront PAC, then The Lucha Bros. (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) show up and attack Trent and Cassidy. Afterwards, The Lucha Bros. and PAC attack Best Friends (Taylor, Trent, Cassidy) as a unit before PAC takes the microphone and makes their partnership official by calling themselves "The Death Triangle," or as The Lucha Bros. call it, "Triangulo de la Muerte." PAC tells that the locker room that they did this to themselves, and that nobody is safe. The Lucha Bros then hit Orange Cassidy with a double-stomp package piledriver combo.

We hear from Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears says one lucky person has the opportunity of a lifetime to join them, and Blanchard says he has had to search high and low. Fans are then asked to use the hasgtag #SearchForSpears or submit their entry to resource@allelitewrestling.com.

Jake Hager beats QT Marshall by submission with the standing arm triangle. After the match, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes has to break the standing arm triangle and fend of Hager, Santana and Ortiz, but as the numbers game catches up, "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up and takes down Santana and Ortiz before taking the fight to Hager. Ortiz hits Cody in the back with a steel chair, then Cody is overpowered. Suddenly, Matt Jackson shows up and fends off Santana and Ortiz before having a stand-off with Hager, who soon overpowers him as well. As Jackson, Cody and Dustin are being attacked, "Hangman" Adam Page walks down the ramp with a cup of beer in his hand, gets in the ring, puts his beer on top of the ring post and goes to town on Santana, Ortiz and Hager, hitting Hager with a Buckshot Lariat before going back to his beer. Matt Jckson then confronts Page only for Page to flip him off.

Next week: Ortiz vs. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes! The Death Triangle (PAC, Pentagon Jr. Rey Fenix) debuts! The rules announcement for Blood & Guts! Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt) vs. MJF, The Butcher and The Blade!

We hear from MJF and Wardlow. MJF boasts about going from protege to prodigy after beating "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes at Revolution and proving himself the final chapter of Cody's epic odyssey. He then says that it is high time that the AEW faithful has an author they can count on, as he has plenty of ink for his legacy of becoming the greatest world champion in professional wrestling. MJF also says it does not matter who he has to face, as he will become #1 contender and become AEW World Champion, and says that he will remain undefeated in AEW. Wardlow takes off MJF's jacket at MJF's command to reveal an "I pinned Cody," saying that the T-shirt is as distracting as Cody's new neck tattoo.

Before the next match, three masked men in the stands attack Jon Moxley from behind and assault him in the arena concourse. They then unmask in the process and reveal themselves to be Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager while Jericho laughs in the ring. The match soon becomes a 2-on-1 handicap match as Santana, Ortiz and Hager put Moxley in a sleeper.

The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) beat Jon Moxley and Darby Allin after Moxley never makes it back to the ring following the beaten given to him by the rest of The Inner Circle (Santana, Ortiz, Jake Hager) and Jericho counters a tope suicida from Allin with the Judas Effect. As The Inner Circle celebrates, Moxley shows up with a steel chair, walking to the ring under his own power. Moxley fends off The Inner Circle and clears out the ring in the process, but is clothesline from behind by Jake Hager. The Inner Circle then attacks Moxley on the stage, with Hager putting Moxley in a standing arm triangle before Santana, Ortiz and Hager hit Moxley with a three-man powerbomb off the stage and through a table.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!

Rey Fenix beats Trent?.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up. Cody says his scar is a reminder of failure to gain the AEW World Championship and his inability to challenge for it ever again, and last week was just a big of failure, especially when everyone else is preoccupied when he reaches out for help. As for The Butcher and The Blade, he is familiar with their work and says he could have given them a match if they asked, and that they could even have a match right now. He even gives The Butcher and The Blade the opportunity to pick his tag team partner before responding to MJF's refusal to wrestle him by saying he has to wrestle him, especially when MJF has turned on and mocked him. After several insults, he admits he saw something in him and wanted to make him his protege but was wise to the fact that he was a bad guy. Cody then asks what it will take for MJF to face him, then bets his watch, truck, shoes and over $50,000 on it. He then says he knows MJF is still the future of wrestling, then says he will do whatever he pleases to him if MJF just names the place and date.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Joey Janela, who says he wants to make a name for himself and says that this time will actually count - unlike Fyter Fest - and that Moxley will actually have to kill him. Moxley suddenly shows up, says "Kids," then leaves.

Nyla Rose beats "The Librarian" Leva Bates while also beating up "The Librarian" Peter Avalon. After the match, Nyla Rose hits Leva Bates with another Beast Bomb. As she goes for a third, Shanna jumps off the top rope and fights Nyla Rose, but Nyla Rose overpowers her. During the commercial break, Nyla Rose puts the referee through a table, then powerbombs Shanna onto the referee. More referees show up to check on the hurt referee as well as Shanna as Nyla Rose leaves.

Chris Jericho and Jake Hager show up. After saying that the local fans have never made a name of themselves and that none of them are as successful as him, then says that his new wine has been selling well before stating that he is contractually obligated to wrestle one more match this year. It will take place on December 18th, and he has the choice of opponents. After producing "The Lexicon of Le Champion," he then names all the people he will never wrestle, which includes Jon Moxley six times and a few fans. Suddenly, Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt) shows up. After Jericho lists "dinosaurs" and "small children," Luchasaurus then displays his knowledge of medievil history and says dinosaurs have been marginalized for 65 million years before stating that Marko Stunt is more man than Jericho will ever be, despite being small for his age. Jericho then says that Jungle Boy has never lost a match and is mute before calling him "a piece of shit." After stating that Jungle Boy could not last ten minutes against him, Jungle Boy says he knows he can and he will kick his ass. After Jungle Boy smacks Jericho in the face, this starts a brawl that sees The Jurassic Express come out on top.

Before the next match, it is announced that Nyla Rose has been suspended from in-ring action for her actions from earlier tonight.

Next week: QT Marshall and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. The Butcher and The Blade!

Kris Statlander beats Hikaru Shida. After the match, Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes show up. Brandi says people loathe what they can't understand, because they are afraid. She says that she and Awesome Kong do the jobs nobody wants as part of The Nightmare Collective, then addresses Kris Statlander. Brandi demands that Statlander pledge herself to the Nightmare Collective tonight, so they can take care of her. All of a sudden, a woman in the front row offers herself as a potential pledge. Security lets her into the ring. The woman offers a piece of her hair so that Kong can cut it off, and Kong cuts off her entire ponytail. Brandi Rhodes shaves off more of it with an electric razor before she and Kong take her to the back.

Next week: The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. Proud and Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) in a Texas Street Fight!

Pentagon Jr. beats "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels. During the match, Rey Fenix shows up and throws Daniel's microphone stand into the ring, allowing Pentagon Jr. to use it as a weapon. Daniels ducks it, then grabs the microphone stand to prepare to use it himself only to toss it away. When the referee turns his back to put it away, Pentagon Jr. kicks Daniels in the groin to ensure the victory.

We see a vignette for The Butcher, The Blade and The Bunny. The Bunny says that last week was their first order of chaos, and that they are tired of seeing "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes's face everywhere. The Bunny says they are in Cody's house to cause chaos, and after introducing themselves, she says they are here to cut the head off the snake.

Jon Moxley beats "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela. After the match, The Inner Circle shows up through the crowd and have a stare-down with Jon Moxley from the crowd.

Backstage, Kenny Omega finds out that he is not cleared to compete following Full Gear.

Jon Moxley quickly beats Michael Nakazawa. After the match, Moxley says he is lot of things, but he is not a liar, and that he delivered as advertised at Full Gear and that Kenny Omega will never be the same again. He calls Omega "one radical son-of-a-bitch" and tells him that he respects him, as he has the balls to do something nobody in the locker room wants to do: face him in the ring. He then says he is on a pilgrimage and that he plans to scorch the earth of AEW one body at a time until he is the last man standing, and if anyone wants to face him in the ring, all they have to do is let him know. He then tells any potential challengers to kiss their loved ones goodbye and have an ambulance on speed dial, and states that he wants no apologies afterwards.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) beats Jurassic Express (Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy). After the match, Evil Uno tells Marko Stunt that he shows promise, but he can be a winner and he can show him promise. Evil Uno then tells Marko that all he has to do is be one with The Dark Order. Jungle Boy jumps in and stops this from happening, and Evil Uno commands the Reapers to "put him down." The Reapers attack Jungle Boy, but as they put their mask on him, Luchasaurus shows up. One by one, the Reapers rush towards Luchasaurus, but Luchasuarus lays them out on the way to the ring. Three more confront him in the ring, but he lays them all out with one Tail Whip and tosses one into the rest of the Reapers on the outside. Stu Grayson then fights Luchasaurus only to be laid out, while Evil Uno retreats. The Jurassic Express - now a trio again - celebrate in the ring.

Before the next match, "The Librarian" Peter Avalon makes fun of Nashville, Tennessee's local music legends before Darby Allin shows up.

Darby Allin beats "The Librarian" Peter Avalon and Shawn Spears in a three-way match. Tony Schiavone interviews Allie. Allie says she has come to AEW to show the world what she can do, and while she has done this on Dark, she is ready to do it on Dynamite. Suddenly, the lights go out one by one, and Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes appear on the stage. Allie fights Awesome Kong on the ramp, but Kong gets the upper hand quickly. Brandi and Kong then cut a piece of Allie's hair off to carry around as a trophy.

Chris Jericho shows up. He announces that he is still AEW World Champion - much to the chagrin of the fans in attendance tonight - and says that he is still the greatest of all time. Jericho demands a "thank you" from every single member of the AEW roster and offices, as well as from "people that matter" and not "jackasses from Nashville," as he has defeated everyone AEW has put in front of him. He says that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is not as good as he thinks he is and calls him "an entitled millennial son-of-a-bitch." Suddenly, Cody makes his entrance...or so it seems. Cody's music plays, but it is MJF that shows up, not Cody, much to the amazement of Jericho. MJF says he knows the fans hate him, and says that if he did not throw in the towel for Cody, Cody's career will be over. Nevertheless, people still cheer for Cody, who he calls "a villain." After mocking asking the fans if they like Cody, he then says Cody wouldn't care about them if he tried, and says that he is the only person who knows "the real Cody," who he says is a liar, user and abuser. He also states that he saw potential in him to make him into a puppet by offering to be his mentor, and says all Cody wanted with him was to put him under his thumb. He says Cody's thumb is not big enough to keep him down, as he is the new face of AEW. After telling Cody that he is better than him and that he knows it, he then addresses Jericho, telling him that he is a big fan and that he has heard that Jericho wants him to join The Inner Circle. After some arguing over MJF joining The Inner Circle, Jericho says that he has heard that MJF has wanted to join, and MJF says that while Jericho enjoys "a little bit of the bubbly," he may be drinking too much and that Jericho wanting him is a little odd. Jericho states that the two of them have a lot in common, then asks MJF if he wants to be in The Inner Circle. After another argument over MJF joining The Inner Circle - following a comedic reference to Jericho's feud with Juventud Guerrera in World Championship Wrestling - they both agree that Cody "is the biggest jackass." Cody suddenly shows up, and despite two production agents telling him not to do anything, Cody runs into the ring and fights both Jericho and MJF. Suddenly, Cody is attacked from behind by Wardlow, who makes his first appearance after months of vignettes. After Wardlow slams Cody into the mat, he then chokes Cody with his tie - which shares the same design as MJF's scarf - and hangs him on the ring apron with it by command of MJF, and referees have to rush in to get Wardlow to stop.

Backstage, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and Proud and Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) are seen brawling with each other, with Santana put through a table while Ortiz jumps from a forklift. Santana is about to toss one of the Jackson brothers into a bathroom when he finds out that Orange Cassidy is inside. Santana quietly closes the door and the brawl continues. During the commercial break, the brawl goes from backstage to the main stage to the crowd. When the brawl makes it to the ring, referees and security have to rush in to separate both teams. At the end of the commercial break, The Young Bucks superkick numerous members of security, and Ortiz strikes back with the blackjack before Proud and Powerful attack Nick Jackson's injured leg before putting Matt Jackson through a wooden panel near the stage. Brandon Cutler shows up to shield Nick Jackson, and Proud and Powerful pretend to walk away before attacking Cutler. Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) then run in to fight Proud and Powerful, and security has to move in to separate both teams. The Young Bucks are then helped to the back.

Cody names off a few legendary wrestlers from the Charlotte, North Carolina area who were titans in the wrestling business who were also managers, and while he has talked about how proud he is of AEW being "an Ellis Island for wrestling," he cannot not hear the criticism of being both a wrestler and a manager. Jericho then attacks Cody from behind, and Omega rolls out of the ring to face off with Moxley with a barbed wire broom.
