Megan Bayne beats Anna Jay after Penelope Ford exposes one of the top turnbuckles before brawling her way to the back with Harley Cameron.

Don Callis guests on commentary for the next two matches.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats AR Fox.

Brody King, Tomohiro Ishii and Bandido beat The Don Callis Family (Lance Archer, Trent Beretta, Rocky "Azucar" Romero) in a trios match. After the match, The Don Callis Family go on the attack until The Outrunners rush out and make the save.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). Adam Cole says everyone wants a shot at his title, but that is the way he likes it and will take on anyone anywhere for the title. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) show up and makes light of Paragon, stating they have gone soft. Kyle O'Reilly takes exception to this, while Roderick Strong wants to fight them. Zack Gibson says they will see them next week and see if they have any fight in them. Adam Cole tells Grizzled Young Veterans that they will have to earn the victory, and that the pressure is on them. Paragon leave.

"Speedball" Mike Bailey beats Blake Christian. After the match, Speedball says there is beautiful weather tonight, then calls out "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada so they can make it rain. Okada shows up and says he will not back down, then Speedball is attacked from behind by Dralistico while Rush stares down Okada. Rush the hits Speedball with a headbutt.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that nobody understands that one cannot break someone who has already been broken over and over again. He says he is stronger than any metal, then says that anarchy would be an improvement over what is going on in AEW. He announces that Gabe Kidd works for him, then says that the difference between professionals and amateurs is that professionals have standards. Moxley says The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Gabe Kidd, Marina Shafir) are the best at what they do.

The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) beat Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) in a Chicago Street Fight.

We hear from Mina Shirakawa, who talks about her and "Timeless" Toni Storm's history together, then says that it is just the two of them in the ring and that while Toni is everything a champion should be, so is she, and she wants her championship. She says Toni is timeless, but she is now.

AEW pays tribute to the life and career of the late Steve "Mongo" McMichael with Mongo's widow Misty and Dean Malenko. AEW is also partnering with the Les Turner ALS Foundation in memory of Mongo. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair then shows up, and says that Chicago, Illinois is one of the best wrestling towns in the world and that Mongo was more man than anyone he has ever known, having fought ALS for six years. He praises Misty for never leaving Mongo's side and learning to become a nurse to fight ALS with him, then thanks the fans for coming out tonight. (Shortly after this, TNT and MAX accidentally cut to Black Adam during the last thirty minutes of the East Coast transmission. Ten minutes later, the following message crawls across the screen on TNT on the East Coast: "Due to technical difficulties, AEW Collision is not airing tonight. Please check allelitewrestling.com for wrestling updates." The stream of the show on MAX also cuts off at the same time. It is soon after revealed that a technical problem involving show delivery and recording was the cause. The West Coast transmission airs unaffected, and the show is later uploaded in its entirety to MAX.)

The Sons of Texas ("The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara) beat Cru (Lio Rush and Action Andretti) to become #1 contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Double or Nothing.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander, who suddenly notices Willow Nightingale. Kris and Willow argue over how their recent match ended, and Statlander and Willow tell each other that they know where to find each other after dealing with The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Gabe Kidd, Marina Shafir).

Next week's show will take place on Thursday at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central on TBS.

Powerhouse Hobbs beats Wheeler Yuta despite the damage that Yuta has done to his right knee throughout the match. After the match, Marina Shafir shows up and hits Hobbs with a chop block, then she and Yuta gang up on him until Willow Nightingale runs in and attacks Shafir. Yuta grabs Willow by the hair, but that allows Hobbs to attack Yuta from behind. Shafir makes the save when Willow is about to hit Yuta with the Doctor Bomb. As this goes on, Kris Statlander watches from one of the announce tunnels as Shafir and Yuta retreat.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
