Let's Go! - LFG Playoffs recap for May 4, 2025 (Episode One)

Shawn Micheals meets with the Legends and Future Greats. He announces that the first round of the playoffs begins, and that everyone will face their own teammates. The Legends will be determining who gets eliminated. Bubba Ray notes that this is getting real to everyone for the first time and that he can see it on their faces.

The Future Greats pose for a group photo. The Undertaker meets with Tyra Mae and Bayley Humphrey. Bayley says she can change the game for female wrestlers, while Tyra Mae says she is a hard worker and that she will put her best foot forward. Booker T meets with Penina and Leigh. Penina says she has not cracked under the pressure and that she feels even stronger. Leigh says that LFG has awakened something in her. Mickie James meets with Sirena and Dani. Dani says she is nervous, but she has shown a lot of potential. Sirena says she came in with no experience, but she now feels like she is just getting started. Sirena Dani mentions that Sirena has been through a lot, including some things she cannot relate to, but she sees a fine line between confidence and cockiness and she does not like cockiness. Bully Ray meets with Zena and Tatyanna. Zena says her whole life revolves around wrestling, and Tatyanna says that WWE has become her world. She tears up, and admits that while the tears are tears of disappointment, but also tears of passion.

Zena Sterling beats Tatyanna Dumas. Booker T says that Tatyanna got her butterflies in a line and flying straight. The Undertaker says that Tatyanna did a good job tonight. Bubba Ray says he is happy, but he is disappointed, as this has become a tough decision today. Zena feels there was not enough chemistry between them in their match to create the match that Bubba Ray had in mind.

Leigh Laurel beats Penina Tuilalepa. Bubba Ray says the match was "smoke and mirrors" and that they created an aura and spectacle to him and got his attention. Mickie James notes the Sailor Moon cosplay inspiration in Leigh's gear, but reminds her that she needs to be the Superstar, not Sailor Moon. The Undertaker says Penina has incredible instincts that are invaluable. Booker T says one of them will be going home, and that he will have a tough decision to make.

Tyra Mae Steele beats Bayley Humphrey by submission with a single leg crab after targetting Bayley's left knee throughout the match and slipping out of Bayley's finisher. After the match, Bayley rejects Tyra Mae's handshake and hits her with her finisher. Mickie James says they both look like they belong on television already. Booker T says they both did an awesome job, and The Undertaker says that they told a story that neither of them want to go home and that they made his decision extremely hard. Tyra Mae says this is the most pressure she has felt in two years, and Bayley says that may have been the best wrestling match she has had yet

Sirena Linton beats Dani Sekelsky after using the middle rope for leverage. Booker T says they both worked really hard. The Undertaker says the match was fun to watch and was impressed by Sirena playing a heel. Bubba Ray agrees with The Undertaker, and says that he has been a fan of Dani and how she has progressed since day one. Mickie James says she is proud of them both and that she has a hard decision to make.

The points are awarded for the best match. Tyra Mae and Bayley unanimously win the point for the women. Team Undetaker has eight points, Team Booker T has six points, Team Bubba Ray has four points, and Team Mickie James has three.

Bubba Ray eliminates Tatyanna, saying she did a great job and impressed him today, but she improved and impressed him a little too late. Booker T eliminates Leigh, saying Penina put in a little bit more effort. The Undertaker eliminates Bayley, but says he is proud of the both of them and knows Bayley will revolutionize the business. Mickie James eliminates Sirena, saying that they have both grown since day one and have a fan in her for life, and while Sirena has a world of potential, she does not want to put her on television yet or else she would squander that potential. After the men go through the first round, four will soon become two, and one of them will get an NXT contract.

The episode ends with Bayley Humprey lifting weights as she sees herself with endless potential and with her name in lights.
