It is announced that Rampage will air on Friday at the special start time of 6:30 PM Eastern/3:30 PM Pacific.
Orange Cassidy, Bandido, Roderick Strong and Adam Cole beat The Jericho Appreciation Society ("Cool Hand" Angelo Parker, "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia) in an eight-man tag match. After the match, Adam Cole runs up the ramp and attacks Chris Jericho at the announce table, and security has to take Cole to the back.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Darby Allin. Jungle Boy says he and Allin may not like each other very much, but they have both been here since day one and have worked to get where they are. He says that neither of them have headlined a pay-per-view, and they will make sure they change that tonight. Allin says that this is it and that they will do whatever it takes to make it to Double or Nothing, because tonight is showtime.
Backstage, security is getting Adam Cole out of the ring while Chris Jericho yells at Cole. Britt Baker shows up and goes after Jericho, tearing his shirt in the process, and a security guard has to get her away from Jericho.
We hear from The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson). Bryan Danielson says he is better than Bret "The Hit Man" Hart ever was or any wrestler that has come before him, and if it is not him, it is one of the other members of the Club. He says there will be wrestlers in the future better than him because of what they have done, and he hopes Wheeler Yuta is a better wrestler than he ever was. He says this is the different between them and The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson), as they want people to be better than them and AEW to be the best wrestling company ever, and they will do anything to make that happen. Moxley says that they sharpen each other, and that The Elite should thank them for sharpening them. He says they are not bullies and that higher levels mean bigger devils, and next week, he will face Kenny Omega in a steel cage. He says 2020 might as well have been a decade ago and that he and Omega get more dangerous, and that he has a new Jon Moxley that he cannot wait to unleash on him. Moxley then says that The Blackpool Combat Club will leave one hell of a mark.
Saraya beats Willow Nightingale. After the match, The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm, Ruby Soho) attack Willow, then Hikaru Shida shows up and hugs Saraya and the rest of The Outcasts, then Toni Storm hands her the can of spray paint. All of a sudden, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Jamie Hayter show up and take out Ruby and Toni from behind, and Hikaru hits The Outcasts with her Kendo stick after spraying Saray in the face. Shida then spray paints "AEW" on all three of The Outcasts.
We hear from The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, Julia Hart). Malakai Black says their Trios titles are a reminder of those who are allowed to get away with murder and those who are punished for following the rules. Julia Hart says they will not let tradition fade and call it talent. Buddy Matthews introduces "Open House Rules," and Brody King says that there are no shortcuts, no escape and no mercy. Under House rules, any team can challenge them for the titles; however, there will be twenty second count-outs, and no rope escapes, and disqualifications are enforced on a "dealer's choice" basis, as it is fair and balance is all that they have.
The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn) last eliminate The Butcher, The Blade and Kip Sabian to win the Tres de Mayo Trios Battle Royale.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Sammy Guevara. MJF shows up, but Sammy chews MJF out for taking an empty vehicle out of the arena and leaving him alone and tells him "friends don't leave friends." MJF says he has had chronic back pain from carrying the company and that Sammy, who he thought would look at him like a wimp, deserves better. Sammy kisses MJF on the forehead and says he should never have doubted him, then MJF mentions that they have a mash-up of their entrance themes for tonight's match before the two of them hug.
We hear from Kenny Omega and Don Callis. Omega says Jon Moxley is excited to show this new version of himself, and Don Callis says that he has to look at the scar on his forehead every day and that while Moxley may have the heaviest hands, he will lose to his mind and Omega's talent. He calls Moxley a sick, narcissistic sociopath and says it all comes to an end next week. Omega says he knows better than anyone that Moxley can fight and make him and himself bleed, but at the end of the day, Moxley will not be the one left standing.
Wardlow quickly beats Logan Laroux. After the match, Wardlow says he is not done and calls out Christian Cage and Luchasaurus for an open challenge for the TNT Championship. Christian Cage and Luchasaurus show up, but Christan says the match will not happen tonight because the title shot does not belong to him, not Luchasaurus.
We see Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Sonjay Singh and Jeff Jarrett at Mark Briscoe's house in Sandy Fork, Delaware and working on the farm. All of a sudden, Papa Briscoe shows up and tells Mark Briscoe to keep an eye on Lethal's friends. Jay Lethal then says that he and Jeff Jarrett are challenging FTR to a tag team titles match at Double or Nothing.
"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson. After the match, "Switchblade" Jay White attacks Ricky Starks. Starks goes for the Ro-Sham-Bo on Jay White, but Juice saves Jay White and both of them retreat.
We see a video package of the events leading up to "The Firm Deletion" at the Hardy Compound this Friday on Rampage.
Backstage, as Darby Allin gets his skateboard, MJF talks to "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and tells him that if he were to cut the "goody two-shoes" act, he could be at the top of the sport like Sammy Guevara, then offers him a spot next to the throne if he throws tonight's main event by betraying Darby Allin. Jungle Boy tells him he wants the main event, not a spot next to MJF, when Darby Allin shows up. MJF leaves, and Allin's trust in Jungle Boy diminishes.
"Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and Darby Allin beat MJF and Sammy Guevara in a Four Pillars Tag Match after Darby Allin gets the blind tag - unbeknownst to Jungle Boy - to hit MJF with the Coffin Drop after MJF slaps Sammy Guevara for not doing what he says.
