The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) after "Michin" Mia Yim drop kicks Valhalla for constantly getting involved in the match.
There will be a tournament on Raw and SmackDown next week where the winners will face off at Night of Champions to crown the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Bianca Belair heads to the ring. She says that SmackDown holds a special place in her heart after she won the SmackDown Women's Championship, then talks about how Iyo Sky is unpredictable and one of a kind before stating she has proven to be the best in the world while defending her title. She says that she will show out wherever she goes, and that if she wins tomorrow night, she will become the longest-reigning Raw Women's Champion of the modern era. Suddenly, Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) shows up. Bayley says that she made Bianca on the blue brand and that Iyo Sky will put an end to Bianca's reign before it can become part of history before stating that they will take all the women's gold on SmackDown and make SmackDown their show. Damage CTRL surround the ring, and Bianca holds her own before Bayley escapes the K.O.D. and Iyo Sky hits Bianca with a missile drop kick. Suddenly, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez show up to even the numbers.
We hear from Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Kross says everyone on SmackDown is so sure of who they are, but when one little thing is taken away, everything begins to crumble. He says he will plant another seed to be reaped, and asks Shinsuke Nakamura how much his honor is really worth to him.
Backstage, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) say that they are here to handle some business as Solo Sikoa wraps his hands. When Jey asks Solo "Are you with it?", a usually silent Solo says he heard the question, then says tomorrow, he will do his part, and that The Usos had better do theirs.
The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) beat Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci).
We see a video package chronicling what has happened to "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes since WrestleMania and the events leading to Cody vs. Brock Lesnar at Backlash.
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring. Cody says that Brock Lesnar is a cowboy and a coward, and while there are a lot of nicknames he can attach to Lesnar, a different name comes to mind when he thinks about him: "gatekeeper." He says that Arn Anderson once told him that when one is the top guy, they inherit "The Kingdom," and that Brock Lesnar is blocking the gate to the kingdom. He says one usually does not have to face Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar picked a fight with him. He says that Lesnar has yet to provide an explanation as to why he picked a fight with him and that he plans to beat the answer out of him at Backlash, and while he is still scared of Lesnar, as is everyone, he will have no time to be afraid. Cody tells Lesnar that he will bring the pain tomorrow and that it is a fair fight, and that Puerto Rico will be where he got back on the road to the kingdom by beating Brock Lesnar.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Shinsuke Nakamura, who simply tells Karrion Kross "Come on!"
We hear from Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Matt Riddle. Riddle says there is more drama in The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, than on Succession, and that there is only thing left to do: beat The Bloodline at Backlash to the point that there is no Bloodline left for Randy Orton to come back to. When Riddle asks if he is talking too much, Sami says he has said everything there is to say and that there is nothing left for him or Owens to say.
Shinsuke Nakamura beats Karrion Kross.
Backstage, WWE official Adam Pearce welcomes Cameron Grimes to SmackDown, then Baron Corbin shows up and makes fun of Grimes for being picked last in the WWE Draft. After Grimes says Corbin is making being picked last worse than not being picked at all and it is brought up that Baron Corbin was not, Corbin then says Grimes is "irrelevant," and Grimes challenges Corbin to a match. Pearce makes it official for next week.
In footage from the Backlash press conference from earlier today, Damian Priest and Bad Bunny nearly get physical.
The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega) The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley) after Rey gets Dominik in an inside cradle during the Three Amigos. After the match, Finn Balor attacks Rey Mysterio, and this starts a post-match brawl that Damian Priest also becomes a part of. As Damian Priest punches Rey in the face, Bad Bunny shows up with the rest of The Latino World Order (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro) with a Kendo stick in his hand. Damian Priest and Bad Bunny have a staredown as the LWO cleans house. Dominik tries to get a cheap shot on Bad Bunny, but Bad Bunny smacks him with the Kendo stick and The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio) retreat. Afterwards, Rey gives Bad Bunny an LWO shirt to end the show.
