Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 19, 2018



Kevin Kross beats "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams with a second Kross Jacket after allowing Petey Williams to try to hit the Canadian Destroyer and fail following a first one.



We hear from Madison Rayne, who talks about how her daughter wants to be a superhero like her when she grows up after watching her wrestle in the ring.



Backstage, Grado and Katarina catch up with Joe Hendry, who tells Grado that Eli Drake is just trying to put things in his head. Katarina agrees, then the three of them have a hilariously awkward photo together. Hendry tells Grado to leave Eli Drake to him because he has a prestigious surprise for him. Joe Hendry then continues with his photo shoot.



Gama Singh introduces The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh) before the next match.

The Desi Hit Squad (Rohit Raju and Gursinder Singh) beat KM and Fallah Bahh after Gama Singh distracts the referee and Gursinder places Raju's feet on the ropes for leverage.



We see a video package chronicling the recent events between The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) and The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez).



We hear from King, who says Konnan means nothing to him and is nothing more than a snake, as he has forgotten the struggles as well as where he came from. He also says that he is one step ahead of The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) and that there will be a war between LAX and The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez).



Before the next match, Joe Hendry says Eli Drake has been expressing his opinion about him, Grado and Katarina an awful lot, and that now it is time for him to express his opinion about Eli Drake. We then see a music video that makes fun of Eli Drake. Eli Drkae responds by hitting Joe Hendry with a cheap shot and thinking him for plugging his YouTube channel.

We hear from Ortiz, who talks about family. He thought that King, Homicide and Hernandez family, but he was mistaken, and now The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) is stronger than ever and the fire that King lit under them is going to be his downfall.



Andrew Everett vs. Dezmond Xavier end before it can even start after Eddie Edwards shows up and clears the ring before attacking the referee with a Kendo stick. Eddie then calls out Tommy Dreamer, telling him that the time has come and that this Sunday, it will be him against Dreamer. He does not care what the stipulation for the match is, as there is going to be pain, violence and blood and he will make Dreamer bleed until he lies down in a puddle of his own blood. He then plans to kneel down and touch his bloody face so he can taste Dreamer's blood, and at that moment, Dreamer will look up at him and realize that he is the true innovator of violence. This Sunday, he will become Tommy Dreamer's never-ending nightmare.



We see a video package of what happened between Madison Rayne and Su Yung last week, then we see Madison Rayne wake up in an exquisite building. Nearby is a picture of herself and that of her daughter, and on the television is footage of her. This elaborate building is really a funeral home, and Madison Rayne opens the casket to see herself lying inside. Suddenly, a man places his hand on her shoulder and asks if she is okay, and when she looks at him again, his face is painted with with black make up around the eyes and mouth with a black X on his left cheek, and he tells Madison her time has come. Madison Rayne runs out of the funeral home and ends up running into a little girl who asks where her mother is, but her face ends up being painted as well and she tells Madison her time has come. The little girl then teleports everywhere, then Madison Rayne is seen waking up in the middle of the field where she was last week before Su Yung got her hands on Madison. As she looks around, blood falls on her from above, and Su Yung and the undead bridesmaids are behind her.



We see a video package for the hair vs. mask match between Sami Callihan and Pentagon Jr.



Sami Callihan beats Greg Osborne after putting a Pentagon Jr. mask on Osborne's head, saying he accepts Pentagon Jr.'s challenge at Slammiversary, asking the crowd if they want to see him lose his hair and hitting Osborne with Get Out Of Here. After the match, oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) throw Osborne out of the ring before Callihan hypes up the hair vs. mask match between himself and Pentagon Jr. Suddenly, Pentagon Jr. shows up on the TitanTron and tells him he will not forgive him for messing with his mask, and that he will demonstrate why Impact Wrestling is his house. oVe and Sami Callihan then run to the back.





We hear from Homicide, who talks about the history he made with The Latin-American Xchange in Impact Wrestling as well as his friendship with Konnan. He feels that he and Homicide have been disrespected, and that The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez) will make history when the beat The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz).



We hear from Allie, who has heard what Tessa Blanchard has said about her last week. She feels sorry for Tessa, as she does not care about anybody else and nobody else seems to have cared about her. She says that Tessa has not learned anything from her father and grandfather, and while she and Tessa are great wrestlers, Allie says she is a lot more than that. Kiera Hogan then shows up, and the two of them head towards the ring.



We hear from Moose, saying that if Austin Aries wants him here, then he has him here.

We see a video package for Tessa Blanchard vs. Allie.



Allie and Kiera Hogan beat Shotzi Blackheart and Tessa Blanchard after Tessa Blanchard leaves Shotzi Blackheart high an dry.



oVe (Jake Crist, Dave Crist, Sami Callihan) are seen backstage looking for Pentagon Jr. Suddenly, Jake and Dave Crist vanish.



Scarlett Bordeaux is the newest Knockout in Impact Wrestling...and she debuts next week!



We hear from Johnny Impact, who says that he is coming back at Slammiversary to take on Rich Swann, "The Bone Soldier" Taiji Ishimori and Fenix in a four-way match and planning to steal the show and take the W.

We see a video package for "The Machine" Brian Cage vs. "Reborn" Matt Sydal for the Impact X Division Championship at Slammiversary.



We hear from Santana, who tells Homicide that each knows where the other comes from and that Homicide made a big mistake. He tells Homicide to be ready at Slammiversary, as he will go to any length to win in the 5150 Street Fight.



We see a video package for Austin Aries vs. Moose at Slammiversary.



Backstage, Dave Crist is looking for Pentagon Jr. when he accidentally runs backwards into Jake Crist. Neither of them know where Sami Callihan is. All of a sudden, they find who they think is Pentagon Jr. sitting in a chair, but it is really Sami Callihan tied up while in a Pentagon Jr. mask. The real Pentagon Jr. then shows up from behind and makes quick work of the Crist brothers before intimidating Sami Callihan and disappearing.



We see a video package for Tommy Dreamer vs. Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary.



Moose shows up. He says he has purposely been away from the Impact Zone for the past few weeks to get ready for Slammiversary, and if Austin Aries thinks that his mind games will get to him, then he must have been eating a lot of bananas. He then calls out Austin Aries and tells him to bring his banana with him, as he plans on beating the hell out of him and sticking the banana straight up his hass. Austin fails to show, and Moose says he does not mind dragging Aries out to the ring himself. When Aries fails to show again, he decides to head to the back when Aries when Aries shows up on the TitanTron. He says that he was expecting more out of Moose, and says he is just pulling his strings, and asks how Deangelo Williams is doing before telling Moose that he will have to wait until Slammiversary to get his hands on him. As Austin Aries says that Moose should keep a pair of eyes in the back of his head, Austin Aries is seen coming out of the crowd and kicking Moose in the groin from behind. Aries then smacks a steel chair into Moose's back before holding up the Impat World Championship. Moose gets up, however, and Aries turns around to see Moose standing right in front of him. Moose then grabs Aries by the throat, picks him up and throws him into a top turnbuckle. He then grabs a steel chair, but Aries ducks the swing and hightails it out of the ring.
