Total Bellas Island - Total Bellas recap for July 15, 2018

Nikki is at the airport in Paris, France waiting for friends and family to arrive for the bachelorette party, having been there alone for three days to take Paris in. The friends and family shows up, and Nikki reveals that the diamond on her engagement ring almost came off.

Brie, Nikki and company are on a van. Nikki is aiming for a more mature and classier bachelorette party. The van stops at a very elegant chateau. Kathy shows up after everyone else, having gotten over her fears caused by the terrorist attacks the last time that she was there. It is revealed that Napoleon has lived in this chateau and that Mick Jagger once stayed here, and that the son of the owner is a big fan of Brie, Nikki and John Cena. It is also revealed that Bryan has also seen the last doctor he needs to see before WWE decides to clear him.

As everyone gets ready, Nikki tells Brie that the bachelorette party feels more like a family trip. Meanwhile, Kathy tells J.J. she feels she should not be here due to the bachelorette party. J.J. and Kathy tell Nikki they will head to the city during the bachelorette party, and Nikki expresses her relief as Kathy's presence changes the mood, to which Kathy agrees. J.J. and Lauren then smack each other on the rear end with a wooden paddle found on a table.

Everyone heads to the Eiffel Tower and has champagne on the way there. Nikki, who has reservations about her wedding to John Cena, looks back to the last time she was there with Brie, Nattie and Eva Marie and wished that John Cena would propose to her, and looks back at how her wish has since come true.

Everyone has a formal French dinner. Brie thinks this is the most boring bachelorette party, and proposes that Nikki do some dares as requested by family members. J.J. dares Nikki to get under a table and scare one of the waiters, which she does. Brie wants Nikki to loosen up a little bit.

The next morning, everyone meets at the chateau dining room for breakfast. Brie pulls out a list of dares for Nikki to do while everyone is in Paris, such a a piggyback ride from a stranger, exchanging a piece of clothing with a Parisian woman, rubbing a bald man's head and making three wishes. Nikki says she's not exactly into the corny stuff, and says that "Brie Mode" has since become "Mom Mode," but Brie says that Nikki has changed, too. Someone suggests that the old Nikki would be making her own dares.

Brie and Nikki and friends go to a champagne tasting, while Kathy and J.J. take a ride on a Ferris wheel.

At the champagne tasting, Brie and friends try to get Nikki to do some more dare.s Everyone goes outside and sees a mime and interacts with him, then they walk the streets of Paris where Lauren dares Nikki to go up to a total stranger and pretend that they're somebody that she hasn't seen in a long time, which end up being rather fun.

Kathy and J.J. drink some wine with a Parisian who knows English named Roman, who says that he has always lived in Paris and that he has always felt safe here, and that Parisians always try to move on from catastrophic events like the recent terrorist attack. Kathy talks about how she is getting over the terrorist attack, and Roman tells her that the city will always be safe. Kathy realizes that the people of Paris have become stronger and have chosen to keep on living despite the attack.

Kathy and J.J. eat at a restaurant. Kathy says she never thought she would come back to Paris, but now she cannot wait to come back. J.J. reminds her that they are at the cafe and concert venue where the shooting took place during the terrorist attacks. There is a memorial plaque near the concert venue memorializing the lives lost in the attack. J.J. notices that this is closure for what she experienced during the attacks.

Brie, Nikki and friends are in the van when Nikki gets a call from John Cena. He says that he is watching people hang stuff up, and tells her to live it up at the bachelorette party. Nikki tells John Cena he will send him a picture of her breasts in two hours after a few shots of sake. Nikki says that with John Cena absent during the wedding planning, it feels more like a girls' trip out than a bachelorette party.

Everyone heads to the restaurant only to find out there is no sake. Lauren and Brie head to the bathroom, then try to figure out how to liven the bachelorette party up. Brie proposes doing a mime act and asks for Lauren's help, then they return to the table. Brie proposes a masquerade party when they head back to the chateau. Nikki is open to the idea.

Back at the chateau, Lauren meets with a stylist to get the masquerade party. The stylist produces a lot of lingerie instead of the elegant ballgowns that Brie and Lauren were expecting, and as the stylist talks with somebody to get things cleared up, Lauren tells Brie what is going on. Brie realizes she will have to come up with something else.
