Total Bellas Island - Total Bellas recap for July 22, 2018

At the chateau, Brie meets with Balliochi, a mime instructor. After having seen the mime in the last episode, Brie thinks that learning how to perform like a mime will bring back the interpretive dance of Brie Mode and keep Nikki from thinking she isn't fun anymore after becoming a mother. Through Natale, Balliochi's interpreter, Brie and Lauren learn the basics.

Lauren meets with Nikki for breakfast. Nikki says she has noticed that the closer she is getting to the wedding, the more that her true feelings about the last six years are starting to surface.

Kathy, Kathy's friend Melissa and J.J. walk through the city and head to a chocolatier. The three of them decide to have a little fun and prank everybody else by toilet papering the chateau.

Back at the chateau, Nikki and friends head out for tea time in Paris, and everyone celebrates Nikki being honest with herself. While Nikki appreciates it, she feels that she may be growing apart from John Cena. Meanwhile, Kathy, Melissa and J.J. head to a restaurant and have a toast to being in Paris while playing pool, having a few drinks and taking tequila shots.

Brie, Nikki and friends go shopping for masks and gowns for the masquerade ball.

Back at the hotel, Kathy and Melissa find out that J.J. has bought not only toilet paper, but also shaving cream. Back at the chateau, Brie and Nikki and friends are having dinner prepared by a personal chef, whose name they can't even remember.

Kathy, Melissa and J.J. have some tequila on their way to the chateau. J.J. learns that the wine cellar at the chateau was a torture chamber during the French Revolution. When they make it to the chateau, they put on masks before papering the property. They find the wine cellar door - which is unlocked - and go in. They try to make noise by banging on the roof, but nobody above is able to hear them. Finally, they make their way into the house and scare everybody. Afterwards, everyone else finds out that Kathy, Melissa and J.J. have papered the area around the chateau.

The next morning, the party planners show up at the chateau. Brie plans everything for the masquerade ball. That night, the fun begins. Everyone holds a mock wedding as they have a fun time and dine well, then Nikki talks about how she is completely over sacrificing for John Cena. Nikki still feels like she is in shock over her break-up with John. Afterwards, everyone pretends to sing opera to lighten the mood again. Suddenly, the male guests show up, throw plates on the ground, and pretend to kidnap Brie before revealing that they are really male strippers. It is then revealed that this is all Brie's idea. Afterwards, Brie and Lauren leave, then suit up for their mime act. As everyone waits for Brie and Lauren, Brie and Lauren suddenly sneak towards the dining room outside of the chateau before tiptoeing inside as part of their mime act, which everybody enjoys...including Nikki.

Back in San Diego, California, Brie is back home with Bryan and Birdie. Bryan says that he has done some more tests and has seen one more doctor, and is hoping to get cleared while at the same time curbing his optimism in case he no longer gets cleared. The only doctor he has yet to see is WWE's doctor, and if he does not clear Bryan, Bryan is done.

One week later in Dallas, Texas at SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan announces to the world that after three years, he is finally medically cleared to compete in the ring again.
