We see footage from earlier today where Candice LeRae talks about the women's division when she notices "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and confronts her for what she said about her. Baszler tells her to stick to being the "cute little sidekick," and Candice slaps her. This starts a brawl between the two women that is quickly stopped by bystanders, referees and officials.
Backstage, Cathy Kelly interviews Dakota Kai, who says that she is well aware of what "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler said last week, but she will be seeing her soon when she works her way back up to a title shot. Lacey Evans shows up and says that if Kai won the NXT Women's title, she would only bring it down. She says that NXT needs a woman with sophistication and class and that she is that woman. Kai challenges her to a match for next week, saying she will kick the class off her face.
Kairi Sane beats Vanessa Banks with a submission hold called "The Anchor." After the match, Kairi Sane tells "The Queen of Spades" Shayne Baszler she knows she is strong, but that she has beaten her before and that she will do it again. She then says that she is coming for the NXT Women's Championship.
Next week: Kairi Sane vs. Nikki Cross vs. Candice LeRae vs. Bianca Belair in a Fatal 4-Way match to determine a #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship! In two weeks: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Aleister Black for the NXT Championship!
We hear from Aleister Black, who encounters Johnny Gargano as he talks to an interviewer about Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano says Ciampa cannot win the NXT Championship, and Aleister tells him he knows this is in his personal interest and to let him take care of it. Gargano tells Aleister that he knows what he is doing, then Aleister enters the building where he is immediately laid out by Ciampa.
It is announced that Aleister Black is being transported to a local medical facility.
The Undisputed Era (Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly) beat Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) to become the NXT Tag Team Champions after Tyler Bate throws in the towel to save Trent Seven from having his injured knee broken by The Undisputed Era. After the match, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish celebrate on the stage with O'Reilly and Strong.
