Aleister Black beats the debuting Bobby Fish.
We see footage from last week where a frustrated Hideo Itami blames last week's loss on Kassius Ohno. Ohno says Itami blames everyone but himself for his recent shortcomings, and says he's done talking to him.
Coming soon: Street Profits!
We see footage from two weeks ago where The Velveteen Dream gives Kayla Braxton a cold shoulder when it comes to an interview.
Vanessa Borne beats Jayme Hachey to qualify for the Mae Young Classic.
We see fan footage from last week where Alexander Wulfe messes with Drew McIntyre by sitting on his car. This ends up being a trap, as Killian Dain viciously attacks McIntyre from behind before referees rush in to stop the madness.
General Manager William Regal tells Bobby Roode that Drew McIntyre and Killian Dain are both undefeated and are interested in the NXT Championship. Bobby Roode says he can beat both of them any day of the week, and that he would love to see them both beat each other up because it would be a big money match. So does Regal upon hearing this, apparently, and makes that match official for next week. The winner, of course, will face Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.
Johnny Gargano shows up. Gargano admits he has missed the "Johnny Wrestling" chants, and says the fans and the ring are irreplaceable. He used to be excited because this usually meant you would see something exciting...but that was before NXT TakeOver: Chicago.Gargano never thought the one he would take a bullet before would pull the trigger on him, and he wants to know why. He doesn't know why Tommaso Ciampa would turn on him, but he is here now to look forward and to the future. Gargano says he is still standing, and that he needs to get back to doing what he loves: performing for the fans. Gargano says he has to be at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III no matter what, and he has to be Johnny Gargano and "Johnny Wrestling" again.
Next week: Ember Moon vs. Ruby Riot!
The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic). After the match, SAnitY (Killian Dain, Nikki Cross, Alexander Wulfe) show up, and flyers rain down form the ceiling. The commentary team notices that the flyers look more like papers from a book, indicating that SAnitY is interested in the tag team titles.
