Big Cass has seen Enzo Amore's promo from backstage, and Charly Caruso interviews him. Big Cass says Enzo may be able to talk, but he won't be walking at all - much less walking the walk - after Sunday, as he is where the money is even as Enzo thinks he is the star. He is suddenly jumped from behind by Enzo Amore, and referees and officials have to quickly restore order.
Sasha Banks and Bayley beat Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss with a Banks Statement to Alexa. Before the first commercial break, Nia Jax hurts Bayley so hard that she has to be taken to the back during the break that the match becomes a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.
General Manager Kurt Angle is on the phone when Braun Strowman shows up, saying that Roman Reigns is not in the building tonight and that Roman Reigns will not face him at Great Balls of Fire after how he took him out last week, and wants competition for both tonight and Great Balls of Fire. Angle says he will figure something out, but tells Braun that nobody wants to face him. Braun tells him that he is heading to the ring, and that he will have competition by the end of the night.
We see a video package of Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe, where both men talk about what they have to do to win at Great Balls of Fire.
Before the next match, Cedric Alexander says it is over between him, Noam Dar and Alicia Fox. He calls out Noam Dar so he can send him back to Alicia with a neck brace. Noam Dar shows up with Alicia Fox, who appears wearing a neck brace.

It's time for Miz TV. The Miz says he exposed the Ball family last week for what they are: overexposed, overhyped and forgotten. Miz also brags about how he made Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel A-listers, then says the only thing Dean Ambrose represents is wasted potential, as he had potential at the start only to become a joker and a lackey who cannot handle success. He says that every time Dean Ambrose was a top dog, he caved under pressure that he himself flourishes in and could not make the Intercontinental title relevant again like he could. He says Dean can laugh all he wants, but he will soon become the biggest joke of all. Dean Ambrose shows up, and says everything The Miz said about him is true, but he might as well beat him up anyway. Dean Ambrose demands his rematch, and demands it tonight. Heath Slater and Rhyno show up, and Slater says he was the last man to beat Miz in the ring. Slater says he wants a shot at the Intercontinental title, as he has a family to feed and has had very few opportunities in WWE. The Miz tells Dean Ambrose he will give him his rematch when he deems fit, and tells Heath Slater to dorget about his shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Suddenly, General Manager Kurt Angle shows up and tells The Miz he gets to decide when The Miz competes, not The Miz. The Miz says he will do Kurt a favor anddefend the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Great Balls of Fire, and all Kurt has to do is name his opponent and decide whether it will be Ambrose or Slater. Angle asks why we cannot have both, and makes Miz defend the title against Slater tonight befoe defending against Ambrose at Great Balls of Fire. Also, Slater vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental title is next.

The Miz - despite not being dressed for a match and splitting his pants in the process - retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Heath Slater when Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel attack Rhyno after Rhyno nearly knocks down Maryse, distracting Slater. After the match, The Miztourage (Miz, Bo, Axel) beat up Slater, and Dean Ambrose rushes to the ring. He nearly hits The Miz with Dirty Deeds, but Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel attack him from behind and the numbers game catches up when The Miz joins in and eventually hits Dean with the Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz and Maryse kiss afterwards.
Apollo Crews meets with Titus O'Neil backstage. Titus tells Apollo he has a perfect opportunity for him, and tells him he has a match against Braun Strowman, and Titus tells Apollo that "Crews can't lose."
Goldust is sitting in a director's chair in the ring. Before he shows us "The Shattered Truth," Goldust thanks "the little people," and especially R-Truth, for without him being so naive, jealous and selfish, none of this would be possible. Now he gets to make him a star, and the only thing that shines brighter is gold. We then see "The Shattered Truth," which consists of footage from Goldust's personal cameraman from last week. After the film is over, we see that R-Truth isb ehind Goldust, and R-Truth attacks Goldust.
As General Manager Kurt Angle looks at his texts backstage, Sheamus and Cesaro shows up. Angle lets Sheamus and Cesaro know that their match against The Hardys for the Raw tag titles will be a 30-minute Iron Man Match. Cesaro then asks for a match tonight against Finn Balor tonight, and Angle gives it to him. Angle then tells Sheamus and Cesaro to be careful what they wish for before he takes a phone call.
Before the next match, Curt Hawkins says the crowd did not believe in him last week, and asks the crowd who wants to see him win and who wants to see him lose. Seth takes the microphone and cuts him off, and asks the crowd who wants to see Curt Hawkins shut up. Seth says he wants to see that, too, and hits Curt with the microphone, starting their match.
Seth Rollins beats Curt Hawkins with one punch. After the match, Seth Rollins wants to know where Bray Wyatt is. He tells Bray that he nor anybody need to be saved as he embraces his transgressions, as they have made him who he is. He tells Bray to beware of his wrath, for on Sunday, he will prove Bray Wyatt is not a god.
We see an interview with Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar. Joe says nobody came to hear Michael Cole ask questions, as all he has done is make statements. Joe says he has questions for Brock, who says he will walk in and out as champ. Joe says he has laid both him and Paul Heyman out. Joe then names who he's taken out as of late after saying Lesnar sweats him as they are both in separate rooms. Joe then rips his microphone off and looks for Lesnar, Officals, security, referees and even General Manager Kurt Angle try to stop him, and when Joe finds Lesnar, they all have to hold him back.
Neville beats Mustafa Ali with the Rings of Saturn, and keeps it locked in a little while longer before letting go.
Akira Tozawa vs. Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is the kick-off match at Great Balls of Fire.
We see footage of Bray Wyatt in Death Valley. Bray talks about how hen man first started to worship the sun, it was in gratitude. However, the sun was a merciless, sadistic idol, blinding anyone who looked too long. Bray decided to intercede and give man the gift of fire, so no man should have to bow to the light. Chaos can brighten the darkest shadows, and he is the chaos that fuels the fire. Ever since he came to Raw less than one hundred days ago, that fire has burned. Friends have become enemies, brotherhoods have cracked, and the Beast is reduced to a mere mortal. He is everywhere. He is the wrath that consumes you, that which cannot be touched but can be felt by all. This Sunday, Seth Rollins will look into the eyes of a god, but he will not go blind. For the first time he will see, but it will burn.
Charly Caruso interviews Alexa Bliss, who says that tonight's loss will not be foreshadowing for this Sunday, and says she let Sasha win to give her a false sense of security, as winning requires both strength and intelligence. She calls this strategy. Charly Caruso says nobody believes her, but Alexa says nobody cares what Charly thinks, for this Sunday, she will retain the Raw Women's title.
The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) guest on commentary for the next match.
Finn Balor beats Cesaro. During the match, Elias Samson distracts Finn with his guitar. Shortly after that, Sheamus gets on the apron, and The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) rush to the ring and fight both Samson and Sheamus. After an all-out war outside of the ring where Finn Balor takes out everyone with a somersault over the top rope, Finn is able to get Cesaro back into the ring to hit the Coup De Grace.
Before the next match, Braun Strowman says there are few things he likes more than beating up Roman Reigns, whom he says is too stubborn to stay down. If Roman Reigns shows up Sunday, he will be leaving in the back of an ambulance. As for tonight, he wants competition, and demands General Manager Kurt Angle send him some right now. Titus O'Neil shows up and says tonight is a special Titus Worldwide occasion, even though he would have no problem punching him in the mouth and introduces someone that he says will be competition for Braun Strowman: Apollo Crews.
Braun Strowman beats Apollo Crews with three powerslams. After the match, Titus O'Neil stares down with Braun Strowman, then tries to fight him only to get demolished. Strowman then throws Crews in the back of the ambulance near the stage, but the ambulance does not drive away. When Braun checks on the driver, Roman Reigns punches Strowman in the mouth, and both men brawl until Roman Spears Strowman off the stage and into a nearby table.
