Two days before Great Balls of Fire, AJ Styles did something in Madison Square Garden that some of us though he would do at Great Balls of Fire: win the WWE United States Championship.
Believe it or not, this title win, despite taking place at a house show, is considered official by WWE, and AJ Styles is WWE United States Champion for the first time.
