Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for May 19, 2016

The Miz, Maryse and Sami Zayn guest on commentary for the next match. The Miz says tonight's Miz TV is cancelled because everyone else involved in the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at Extreme Rules has disrespected him.

Kevin Owens beats Cesaro after grabbing the tights in a match where The Miz and Sami Zayn's involvement makes it much more chaotic. Owens watches as everyone else brawls after the match.

Becky Lynch guests on commentary for the next match.

Dana Brooke beats Paige.

Renee Young interviews Rusev and Lana. After a recap of Rusev's match against Kalisto on Raw, Lana says Kalisto is a weak man who hides behind a mask and that he is not a champion. She then says that Rusev is the greatest champion of all time. Rusev says he will take the United States title back at Extreme Rules, and everyone will say "Mashka, Mashka" instead of "Lucha, Lucha" after he's done with him.

Baron Corbin is Golden Corral's Sizzling Superstar of the night.

Dolph Ziggler beats Sheamus. Baron Corbin shows up after the match, and tells Dolph that he will hurt him at Extreme Rules, and that no disqualifications means that nobody will be able to do anything to stop it.

Chris Jericho shows up. Above the ring is the Ambrose Asylum. He says that Dean Ambrose only thinks he has him where he wants him, because he's been in all sorts of matches in the WWE. He says that he is smarter and crazier than Dean Ambrose, and that he is a lunatic after all he's done to Ambrose as of late. Jericho then talks about how many days he could keep Ambrose n the hospital with all the weapons at the top of the Asylum as the cage comes down, and comes to the conclusion that Ambrose will be in the hospital for 40 days once he's done with him. Meanwhile, one of the workers handling the cage gets in the cage...and the worker is revealed to be Dean Ambrose, who attacks Jericho before climbing up the cage wall and grabbing a kendo stick. After a few strikes, Jericho flees through the cage door.

Bob Backlund isn't a big fan of note-taking. In a reference to his time in the WWE back in the mid-1990s, he also orders Darren Young to name all of the United States Presidents up front.

Big Cass and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) beat The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) and The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch).

It is announced that The Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) will square off in a Tornado Tag Team Match at Extreme Rules.

Roman Reigns vs. Luke Gallows ends with the interference of Karl Anderson. After the match, The Club (AJ Styles, Anderson, Gallows) brawl with Reigns and The Usos.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
